Finn shrugged, “I don’t really care. We could hunt tributes, or try to earn some money” he suggested lazily. “Either way, we’re sitting ducks out here” he said.

Natsume smiled and nodded, sitting back down in his magic circle as it glowed with soft light. Lucifer padded back to sit on Natsume's lap and they waited to see if anyone would come.

Kanata threw the goggles to the side and picked up the diamonds instead, turning it up and gazing at it in wonder. "Pretty..." He murmured as his two companion's sprawled on the ground heaving for breath. "I'm going 'ahead', okay?" He sang pocketing all the items save for the goggles and walked to the cabins. The tributes hiding could hear every creak of the floorboard as Kanata explored the places before opening the door where Natsume was waiting. His eyes widened slightly at the sight and Natsume silently held a finger up to his lips. Kanata smiled, mirroring the action and stepped in, doing a lazy, very lazy, check before walking back out. "All clear~" Kanata hummed as he returned to his companions, poking their shoulders. "Are you two 'okay'? We still need to 'search and find' everyone else. Please try and 'keep up'."

"We should try to search around for some money. At least that'll give us something to do" Shiloh responds. The distraction would be nice, far better than worrying about being attacked.

Lilith's eyes widen when she hears Kanata mention 'looking around for the others.' She slowly rises up onto the balls of her feet. She is careful to stay low and hidden underneath the umbrella. But now she is in a striking position. Electricity crackles between her hands, the voltage was not strong enough to kill. Although now that her enemies were drenched in water, that was debatable. "If they find us, run, and no matter what you hear do not turn around" Lilith warns Eve. She speaks softly, as to not alert the Careers

Roxy nodded. "I saw the careers go down a ride and when they came out a chest came out of no where, they took whatever was inside it because it disapeared afterwards."

Eve looked at Lilith. "But what about you?" The child whispered, slightly tightening her grip on Lilith.

"I'll be fine" Lilith responds. "These Careers have one great weakness. They tend to underestimate their victim, that can be extremely dangerous"

"So we have to go down slides to get money?" Shiloh asks. "That doesn't seem too bad.. is there a catch?"

“The rides must be dangerous. Or else people would just keep riding them and getting money over and over again” Finn concluded. He shivered at the thought of a water slide.

Natsume looked like he wanted to argue, but closed him mouth a nodded firmly. Standing up, Natsume took Eve's hand and crept towards the back door.

One of the careers groaned and the other sat up. "We're going to rest for a moment." She waved airily and Kanata pouted to move and soak in the water. He was abruptly stopped when both careers lunged forward to drag him back yelling in his ear. "Don't!""what the hell?!""I swear-""We're not going-""Do you Want to kill us?!""I'm going to-" the clamour made Kanata pout as he was dragged away from the water and the his companion's collapsed on the ground gasping for breath at the close call

Eve gave a light whine and hugged Lilith. "But I don't want to leave you, I'm scared!" Rusty nuzzled the child's side. I know you are young one, but if you wish to live through the day you have to listen to her. Eve was then pulled off of Lilith by Natsume, who pulled the child to the backdoor of the building.

A grim look crossed Roxy's face. "Maybe not just the slides, but all the attractions here."

Lilith peeks her head out and watches them for a moment. She raises an eyebrow at the group. Are they supposed to be threatening? She wonders. The most threatening thing about them was the fact that Kanata seemed to constantly threaten their lives. Maybe she could just wait them out? No, this could set me up for an ambush, if I wanna chase them away, I have to stupidly do it head on. She steps out from behind the umbrella and walks towards the group, who all seem to be too tired to immediately notice her. She keeps her eyes trained on Kanata, he seemed to be the most threatening. "Why hello, what made you three stumble upon my area?" She asks. She purposely speaks loudly, so that Natsume and Eve can peg where she and the Careers are.

"Killer water slides? Did we get taken out of the Hunger Games and get placed into a bad horror movie?" Shiloh jokes. "Are there.. simpler ways to earn money? Perhaps a way where we don't have to risk our lives?" She pales at the many ways one could possibly die from a water slide.

The two female careers immediately sit up, weapons in hand. One hand a pair of knives and the other... Well hers was at the bottom of the pool so she simply raised her fists. "Looking for pipsqueak's like you." The one with the knives sneered. Sensing that his companion's focus was elsewhere, Kanata drifted back towards the pool before she was yanked back by the collar.

"Stand and fight, y'dimwit." The other snapped eyes hard. "Now's not the time to go all puka puka on us."

"It's always time to 'float' in the water. Puka puka ☆" childishly waving his arms up and down as he swayed, Kanata smiled a closed eyed smile but stood his ground. He didn't want to fight, especially not against someone who was helping his dear Little Natsume.

Eve, not wanting to see or hear the impending fight, shut her eyes and clamped her hands over her ears to block out the fight that was most likely going to happen.

"Maybe a horror movie knock off, The Killer Waterpark." Roxy had a hard time keeping the laugh down, but due to the seriousness of the fact they could die at any moment had made Roxy a bit more chummy at the moment. "Maybe we could try some of those knock off games, the ones that rip suck your money into the endless void. The same ones we have at our annual county fair."

A flicker of hope runs through Lilith. Maybe she'll leave unscathed afterall. She simply has to play her cards right, unfortunately for her, she is not good at card games. She turns her head slightly, as if examining the group. "Let the boy have his fun, you don't need his help anyway right? You two are Careers, the best of the best. You should be able to take me on easily. It's a two verse one fight" she smirks and takes a daring step forward, her heart pounding in fear at the thought of having to be a step closer. "I approach you three unafraid and weaponless. Doesn't that raise concern?" Her threats were weak, but it was buying Natsume and Eve time. Now she'll have to focus on creating an escape plan for herself.

"They have those?" Shiloh asks. "I suppose it doesn't hurt to try..."

"Come ON." Natsume murmured, leading Eve away from the conflict. He looked back, catching a glimpse of Kanata's flowing blue hair but he forced himself to keep moving, only looking forward from now on.

"Do you 'wish' for a fight?" Kanata wondered, tipping his head as he regarded Lilith. The other two however snarled and pushed Kanata back.
"We were going to gut you anyways so it doesn't matter if you're afraid or not." The girl with the knife growled not in the least concerned with Lilith's threats.

Roxy, Shiloh, and Finn carefully made their way around until they found a racing game. It was the same thing where everyone had to use a squirt gun to make their character cross the finish line first, with a change in theme.

Eve felt herself slowly move, as if torn between somehow trying to help Lilith and fleeing with Natsume. It just felt wrong to leave Lilith behind even though she could take care of herself. "But it feels wrong!" Eve whispered with a slight whimper. "She's our ally, we have to help."

"I do not wish to fight. But if I must-" small bolts of electricity fire off of Lilith. She is careful to make sure the bolts don't strike anywhere near the three. "Then I suppose I'll have to" she takes a step back now, she shoots the girl with the knives a wary look, if anyone was going to attack first it was going to be her. She is unaware of the affect her words will have on Kanata.

"So you do not wish to 'fight', yet you will if you 'must'... how 'interesting'..." Kanata spoke, slower than usual as he walked forward. "So if you do not 'need' to fight, then you 'do not' wish to fight... so if i 'fought' in your stead, then you do not want to fight... is that 'correct'?" He asked, pushing past the two careers who attempted to pull him back.

"Oi, Kanata, what the hell are you doing?" one of the girls growled, one hand on Kanata's shoulder which was easily shrugged off


Natsume gnawed his lip and nodded. "I don't like it EITher, but I want to trust Lilith. You and I, we're the youngest in these GAMES. We have the disadvanTAGE. We can't do very much if things go WRONG."

"That is correct" Lilith responds. She glances over at the other two Careers, noticing their fear. Even though just a moment ago they were ready to kill her, a small part of her pities them. She curses this small part of herself. "Although fighting in my place is completely unnecessary, if they wish to stop this fight as well, then we can all go off on our merry ways... How does that sound?"

Daedris crept forward to Lilith's side, his teeth peeled back as the massive wolf snarled viciously as Fulminare made herself known, her eyes narrowed with her displeasure. The Amur tiger familiar of one of the other careers sneered as he stared down the wolf, urging him to make a move; baring his canines with a dark pleasure, Daedris would have pounced had not Fulminare gently pressed her hand down on the wolf's head.

Derek had taken cover behind a tree. Cursing, he peeked out trying to spot Shiloh and Finn. And hopefully Roxy. He only saw the hunting party. Three members in all, their animals are a rabbit, what appears to be a green anaconda, and a saltwater crocodile. On that, a very big saltwater crocodile. Derek poked his head out again. The thing was longer than a truck! Setting down his medical kit carefully, he drew an arrow and knocked it, then pulled back his bow string. "No time like the present..." He fired, the arrow sinking in to one of the tribute's shoulders. They screamed. Derek drew another arrow and fired again, this time striking another tribute's leg. They all had melee weapons, which was their mistake. A sword, probably a gladius, a chain blade, and something like a spear. He knew it wasn't the blade at the end screaming glaive or naginata. He drew another arrow and stepped out, firing it into the third tribute's chest. He blinked, wondering why he hadn't done this earlier. Watching the tribute fall, he drew another arrow. Unfortunately, the last one. "Who the hell puts four arrows in a quiver?" He fired, his eyes nearly popping out of their sockets as the arrow buried itself in a stomach. "Son of a b***h..." He turned, flinging his bow at them and tearing off his quiver, then grabbing his medical kit. "Where are they?" His owl flew up, then started directing Derek towards them. He refused to lose Shiloh again. He sprinted as fast as he could once his spirit animal had him lined up.
Ah, so you, O Mysterious and Curious Soul, have come to seek answers in the abyss?
