Fulminare had slept reasonably well, having switched several times for the night shift with her familiar Daedris. The black wolf was a vigilant sentinel for sure, his piercing amber eyes burning through the night as he kept a watch for intruders. She hadn't heard him growl once, which meant that the coast, in general, was clear. It would appear that not many tributes even came by this area.

After dragging Kanata out of the water, the careers began to walk around in groups trying to find any tributes to pick off. They split off into groups and Kanata was put with ones to explore the shacks around the west side of the park. It was exhausting, walking around without water to help sooth his dry skin and Kanata felt like he was going to shrivel up and die at any moment. Perhaps that was the reason why he finally got fed up and spit off to run towards one of the deeper pools and throw himself in without a second thought. Sinking into the deep end with a sigh, Kanata closed his eyes but scowled when he heard a pair of splashes as two other careers dived after him. What the trio remained ignorant to was the mechanism for the wave pool starting as they all had unintentionally gotten into the Big Kahuna

"He is another tribute I met, he'll be joining our alliance" Shiloh explains. She watches his expression with a concerned look, wondering how he'll react to having to deal with yet another person in the alliance.

That morning, she slept much later than she intended. The moment she wakes up, she winces. Her wounds were mostly healed by now thanks to Finn, but she felt like she literally got hit by a truck. At least now she could move around without worry of reopening a wound. She moves over towards Finn, who was busy packing up the camp. "Are you ready to leave?" She asks

Finn stood up and nodded, “Yep. I’ll clear out the gas now” he said while motioning his hands towards the barrier. The gas started to blow away, and then it was gone. “I’ve heard that careers hunt people during the day. What a pain” he said while waiting for Shiloh. His spider, named Charlotte was on his shoulder.

Marshal wondered around the park with Rai, looking for something to do. He made sure that he didn’t let his guard down, since he had no idea what could happen.

Derek turned his head, sitting up as the gas dissipated. Swinging down from his tree, he started off at a jog towards the apparent center of the camp. His owl, Nio, shot out from his bracelet, up into the sky. Circling, he sent a message to Derek: There's a small party coming in from your eight 'o clock. Derek nodded, then picked up his pace. "How did they get here so damn fast?"

Ah, so you, O Mysterious and Curious Soul, have come to seek answers in the abyss?

"Hopefully we can avoid them" Shiloh tells Finn. Eos walks next to her, her shoulders arched slightly, as if she were ready to take off running at any moment. Shiloh and Eos were unaware of the hunting party nearby, but Eos will be able to sense it soon

Finn walked with Shiloh, “I forgot to ask earlier, but what is your power?” He asked Shiloh while keeping a watch around them.

"I can summon and control wind" Shiloh answers. "It's kinda weak, only really good for defense" she adds. Liar Eos responds. For a moment, Shiloh is happy that Finn won't be able to understand Eos. That is, unless Charlotte repeats what Eos had said.

Eve woke up at the splashing and poked her head up out the window of the shop, there were three people in the wave pool, though Eve couldn't see who. She ducked her head a bit. "Lilith, there's people out side." The child slightly whimpered.

Roxy thought she heard something. ". . .control wind. . good defense. . ." That was Shiloh, near the Stingray and mini golf. "Shiloh?" She was close! Roxy broke into a run. "Shiloh!"

The wave pool started up and slowly started making waves in the wave pool. Slowly, almost not noticable, it started to pull them farther and farther away from the shallow end.

Finn nodded, “Our powers could actually be pretty compatible.” He said while looking around. Charlotte stayed quiet at Eos’s remark. Finn tensed up, as he got ready. Roxy was running towards them.

Being in the deep end, Kanata didn't really notice, but the other careers sure did. They tried to scramble towards the area where Eve and the others were camping in, not knowing that they were there, but a larger wave knocked the two off their feet. Meanwhile Kanata was having the time of his life, simply floating above the waves, rocking slowly back and forth as he felt like he could just fall asLeep right then and there.

Natsume perked up and began petting Lucifer. "Luci, be a dear and see what's happeNING?" he requested sweetly. In response, Lucifer gave him a dirty look but did as requested and padded out, slinking out to watch two careers struggle to sit up in the wave pool, a third already lying face down in the water. "three careers. We might not have to do anything though. For now, it is best to watch." Lucifer intoned bladly.

"They are! We'll be ready for whatever the Games throw at us" when she spots Roxy she breaks away from Finn and races towards her. She barley notices the screaming of her sore muscles as she finally reaches her friend and hugs her. "You are alive! I was so worried!" She pulls away from Roxy and points to Finn. "That's Finn, he'll be joining our alliance. Along with Derek, who should be nearby"

Lilith puts a finger to her lips, signaling for Eve to be quiet. "No need to worry" she slowly stands up, trying to make as little sound as possible. Small sparks pass through her fingers as she moves towards the door. If anyone dared open the door, she would stun them. Which could buy them some time. "Natsume, can Lucifer tell what's happening?" She asks Natsume.

Rusty perched near Lucifer, flicking his tail. If any of them are from Four, there's a good chance at least one of them'll survive. Rusty watched the two carrers fail about, noting how Kanata was calm. So we have at least one we might have to deal with.

Roxy slowed some as Fin and Shiloh came into her sight, resulting in almost being tackled by her district partner. "Shiloh, thank god you're alive. Nice to make your aquaintance Finn."

Finn looked at Roxy, and no response came, only a nod. Charlotte crawled into his backpack, and then disappeared.

Hayden waited, as he didn’t know what to do at the water slide.

"Three CAREERS, it looks like the park will be fighting this battle for US." Natsume relayed, standing up and gingerly stepping around his science experiments. "But one of them is Brother Kanata. Be prepared to fiGHT in case he surviVES." His shoulder ached at the name, but he didn't let his face waver at all. Lucifer glanced back at Natsume, worry dancing in it's two toned eyes. They were spiritually connected, whatever Natsume felt Lucifer felt as well but for now the familiar turned it's eyes back to the wave pool to keep watch.

As the waves began to amp up in intensity, Kanata finally flipped over to his back to see what was going on. "Would you two like me to 'save' you?" He asked curiously, seeing his fellow teammates sputter and flail in the water, waves crashing against their faces. His soft melodic voice was lost against the booming waves and any response his allies would have given would have been swallowed by the water. Since he got no reply, Kanata only frowned but did nothing to help

"Yes! Help us!" One of the careers not so nicely demanded of the floating career.

Hearing Kanata's name the child frowned and looked at Lilith, Lilith could see Eve didn't exactly want to hurt him.

"So what's the plan? What should we do now?" Shiloh asks the two. Now that they were no longer in the safety of Finn's gas barrier, she felt exposed out here. She glances around nervously.

Eve may not be eager to harm Kanata, but Lilith certainly will, but only if it came down to it. "It appears we only have two options. Wait here and hope the arena kills them off. Or we can run. What do you guys think?"

Kanata's eyes lit up and his fingers twitched at the pleads he heard. As a benevolent god, he would help the poor weak humans on this wretched earth. The waves seemed to calm as Kanata's powers pulled the two careers towards him a calm smile on his face. "Please 'hold' your breath." He requested before the water curled around both the career's bodies and dragged them under the waves. Understandably, the two began to freak out, kicking and struggling to reach the surface as their lungs screamed for air. Their eyes meet under water and the collective thought that they were going to die here passed through their minds. As both their visions began to black out one let the last of her air out, fully prepared to die when she felt air rushing back into her lungs.
The female tribute froze, and opened her eyes finally seeing what Kanata had done. Water was spiraling around the two careers, funneling air down to the two while keeping them safe from the waves. It was an amazing feat of control, and the two careers shuddered at that display of power. Kanata himself didn't join them below water, content with simply riding out the waves peacefully

"You two run with Fulminare. If Brother Kanata surviVES, then I'll face HIM. he'll believe me if I say I am alone and simply LEAVE. That is the type of person Kanata IS." Natsume suggested, for once thinking of them as a team rather than a group of individuals

The waves continued to get harder and more violent, almost slamming the group into the walls a few times, but Kanata's powers were to thank when they all came out of the wave pool reasably scared, but unscathed regarudless. Another chest seemed to appear from nowhere inbetween chairs with umbrellas. While the two female careers gathered themselves Kanata went over almost lazily and opened it, in side the chest were a pair of swim goggles, $14, and two diamonds. When the items were retrived the chest disapeared.

Eve watched as the three careers made their way out of the wave pool, the two female seemed waterlogged but Kanata was perfectly fine. "Why don't we just wait here and hide?" Eve asked a bit weakly, "they don't know we're here. . .right?"

Lilith shrugs, not really too sure what to do. "We have time to run away. There was a back door. At the very least, we could hide" she points out. "Are you sure you want to do this Natsume?" She asks the boy. Time was running out, they would need to come to a decision quickly. She decides to trust Natsume. She picks Eve up and carries her out the back door. The Careers wouldn't be able to spot them from this angle, but this doesn't mean that they wouldn't be able to hear them running. She ducks down behind an umbrella that had blown over.
