Roxy and Shiloh were at a bunch of games that the waterpark had to offer, carefully playing them and racking while checking to ensure there were no threats. But the games seemed clean so they continued, though they only got about $1.50 per game rather than a prize, so it made sense that each girl went of a game that they both excelled at. Roxy was Skee-Ball and Shiloh was the Ping pong and fishbowl game. By the end of the hour that they'd given themselves to play, each of them got around $15 each.

Hayden watched as Derek managed to take out one of the hunting parties members. “Not bad. Let me clean up though” he said to himself from his hiding spot. The targets were running, which would have been harder for other people, but not him. He pulled back an arrow, and his eyes dilated. He let go and a cracking sound could be hard as it pierced the targets skull. He emerged from his hiding spot, and finished off the last one. “What a shame, I thought they would entertain me for a bit” he said while collecting their cards and supplies. He felt something brush against his leg, it was the last member of the hunting party grabbing his leg. He frowned and grabbed an arrow from his quiver. He shoved it in the tributes throat, then he started to walk away.

Finn played the games with Shiloh and Roxy, he was incredibly bad at it. At the end, he only had earned about $5. He cursed under his breath.

Derek shot a look over his shoulder to check if the two were still after him. They weren't. Instead, they were dead, killed by, apparently, the boy walking away with a bow and quiver. Derek clenched his fists, the cursed and continued on towards where Shiloh and Finn were supposed to be. Crashing through bushes, he finally came to a clearing.
Ah, so you, O Mysterious and Curious Soul, have come to seek answers in the abyss?

When Roxy noticed that Finn only had about $45, Roxy and Shiloh had about $50 each. It was then noticed by Roxy a small "split" button and out of curiosity, pushed it. When she did, the total amount ($145) was put onto Roxy's card, then split as evenly as possible between her and Finn and Shiloh, giving them each a new total of $48.33.

"What do you two 'wish' for?" He asked the other careers who scoffed as if their answer was obvious.
"To kill, duh." The one with the knife rolled her eyes.
"God has 'heard' your wishes and will 'grant' them now." Kanata nodded solemnly. "We shall 'retreat' and leave you 'alive' and 'unharmed'."
"Hah?! What about our wish?" The other tribute snapped, the careers slowly getting fed up with the whole situation
Kanata's response was a smile serene smile as he swayed from side to side. "Have you ever 'wondered' what it would be like to 'kill' a 'god'?" He could see some movement from the corner of his eye and decided to hurry things along before things got too complicated. "Off we go~ 'bye bye', until next time~" He sang before pushing the other two careers along who were frozen in surprise

It was all a blur. From the moment she stepped into the capitol from now. Briar could barely remember any of it. She had eaten very little food in the arena, and honestly wasn't hungry. She was worried about the other tributes. She had pretty much nothing. No allies, no supplies no chance. Nothing. And she wasn't worried. For some reason, she felt more bored then scared, even if she was in a death tournament.
His smile has a grip on me <3

Eve watched as Kanata left with the two careers. When the coast was clear Eve ran into Fulminare's arms and made a happy noise. "I'm so glad that you and Lilith are okay!"

Fulminare barely was able to breathe a sigh of relief, allow her hackles to lower before Eve sprung energetically into her arms, her twiggy arms latching on surprisingly tight. She had caught onto the fact that the young fae thought of her as a mother figure; as she did Lilith. Her mouth tightened slightly as she eyed the other female. Despite sharing 'custody' of Eve, Fulminare didn't exactly trust the other female. She gave Eve a tight squeeze, before ruffling her hair in the most nonchalant way possible. Beside her, Daedris - always a wolf of few words - sat down; he looked slightly disappointed.

Eve looked up at Fulminare with her eyes shining, "can we go on a ride?" The thought of going on a water ride despite being in a death arena was a bit of a mold-breaker.

Briar hoisted herself onto the tree branch and laid back. She closed her eyes, and listened to the sounds around her. A faint rippling of water, a tweet of a bird. She took deep breaths and fell asleep. She didn't bother buckling herself in, she had excellent balance. She doubted anyone would see her anyway.

"We could, yes." Anything to get away from this horrible tension would be appreciated; and she could get a better vantage point over the entire arena if she was up higher. However, she didn't exactly feel interested in an adrenaline rush; but Eve could be indulged, if not once in a while. Little doses. She nodded to Eve, and subconsciously unsheathed a knife. Being a viciously trained career, she felt absolutely naked without a weapon; it would make her easier to kill.

With a smile Eve allowed herself to be led away to a taller slide, Congo Bongo. It wasn't as nearly as tall as some of the other rides, but it was nearby and it was enough to give Eve the rush. Eve then noticed the brandished knife. "Why do you have that out?"

"Ahh, it's matter of habit .” Fulminare explained, her tone unreadable; though most distinctively un-regretful and rather cold. “I’ve been -“ she laughed hoarsely, “I’ve been trained to kill since I was five. Carrying around a weapon is only a habit.” And since her abilities could always be worked against, her mother had simply dumped her only daughter at the doorstep of the academy before leaving for work. The teachers asked no questions, and nor did the pupils. “What I had to learn, I learned quickly. Carrying a weapon and keeping my guard up at all times is one of the first lessons. Especially so when one female student took one look at me and beat me into a bloody pulp.”

Eve looked up at Fully before they went down the slide, surprisingly unharmed after the raft they rented bucked like a wild animal. At the bottom, a chest appeared with about $25 in cash that was transferred to their cards and a diamond. Once the items were taken the chest disappeared.

*Time skip to that night*

Everyone settled in that night to their respective places. The anthem played in the sky along with the capital seal:

District 2 Male 2- Killed by Derek
District 2 Female 1- Killed by Hayden

District 4 Male 2- Killed by Hayden

The anthem finished with a flourish and both the seal and anthem disappeared into the night.

However, as the night dragged on, something started coming out of the arena's floor and walked into different areas of the arena. All of them humanoids, some walked as if it was difficult and others as if it was nothing. Once they went to their desired locations their eyes shut and they appeared to become inactive.

The anthem played in the background as Kanata fought with the two careers he had formerly teamed up with. His opponents were exhausted while Kanata himself was feeling quite winded, the clearing they had chosen having expanded exponentially compared to how it was at the beginning. Sidestepping a lunge from the career with the knife, Kanata used his hands to redirect the attack to his other opponent, the knife sinking into the other girl's throat. The tribute fell with a wet gurgle as the canon fired in the distance and Kanata was only left with one opponent left. "Will you 'run' now that you know that you can not 'kill' a god?" He asked curiously only for the career to very rudely lunge to stab him in the stomach. Blood spurted over the blade and Kanata sighed, looking down at the knife that had gone clean through his hand, managing to avoid any grievous injury to his torso. Gripping his opponent's hand and trapping the weapon, Kanata whacked the girl over the head, making the career slump over, unconscious. Gingerly removing the knife from his hand, Kanata wandered away now no longer bound by the career's wish for him to aid him.

Eve had been curled in and around Fulminare, the cannon blast made the child stir in Fulminare's arms and frown, but the child didn't wake. Fulminare looked up in the sky to see that there was one more face in the sky.

Career girl from 1- Killed by Kanata

The face disappeared from the sky forever. Fully looked back at Eve who nuzzled into Fulminare a bit more, the child's head resting in the career's lap.

Derek looked up to the sky, then sighed. He had killed that one. And he'd left two more to die. Some comforting presence he was. Shifting in the tree he was in, he glanced around. He saw the slides, the games, the pools, the rides... But not yet Shiloh and Finn. He was getting anxious, having been unable to find them for three days now. I will find them tomorrow, else I'll throw myself into the water, he thought. Maybe not the best idea, but it would remind him that he'd failed, and that was unacceptable. He shifted again, leaning back a little on his branch.

The sun slowly rose into the sky, the animatronics had strategically placed themselves around the arena to target their desired tribute.

Eve was the first to wake up, her mind a bit fuzzy from her odd dream that she couldn't recall. Eve swung her legs off the bed and went to see if she could find something to eat.

Shiloh is one of the first people to wake up in her group. She glances over at Eos, who looked agitated. Her tail flicking around in the ground in the way felines do when they are on the hunt. Shiloh sits up as quietly as possible so that she can join Eos, she doesn't see any danger nearby. The feline turns her head slightly to glance at Shiloh. Quiet. There is trouble lurking Eos cations.

Lilith opens her eyes and scans the room. Something felt wrong. Her heart drops when she notices that Eve is missing. She races out the door, fearfully searching around the area. "Eve!?" She calls. She takes off running, not knowing that she is running further away from Eve rather than closer. Which is exactly what her attacker had planned.

Turns out the young girl had just gone to the shop and bought herself a granola bar and a small bottle of apple juice. She came back to find Lilith shouting her name, just getting out the front door. Lilith's eyes landed on the small child with a partly eaten granola bar in her mouth and orange juice in hand.
