*Marcus pick up his sword and went straight to the training grounds
to keep honing his skills with the sword but sooner or later he
would have to find other people to spar with*
Clarisse took her axe to a foghting stance:"Don't worry, I'll
go..." she then noticed Leaf looking at someone else:"what's up?
Who are you looking at?"
"Nothing. And don't hold back. I want to see your full
strength...or as much as you're willing to show at least." He spun
his lance around and pointed it at Clarisse. "When we're done...I
can fix any wounds we accrue here, en garde!"
Corona had stayed behind to ask some questions which the professor
seemed happy about. Some of the stuff he talked about was similar
to her Uncle’s. But she smiled about getting to ride Specks early.
Exiting the hall she moved though the gravel weaving her way
through the crowds of students.
Alright, you asked for it!" Clarisse immediately swung her axe, at
something just over half her full power, more as a test of his
reflexes than as an actual opener.
*Marcus started to finish soaring with some training dummy's, as he
started to take a break he saw two students sparing and went there
to see how they are doing*
Leaf dodged it and then ran towards Clarisse in an arc. He may not
be strong but he has inherited his family's trait for being fast.
And so, he very quickly covered the distance before going in for a
jab with the lance
*Marcus saw Leaf and Clarisse duking it out. Leaf was holding a
lance and Clari was holding a Axe. He thought that Clari might win
this one since she had the weapon advantage but when push to come
to show skill can overcome anything* She might win but I cant say
until the end
Clarisse couldn't predict what Leaf would do next, so she waited.
When she felt the lance tip poking her uniform, she pinned it
between her side and arm, then went for a shoulder takle. Her
fighting style resembled that of an armor knight, only a bit
lighter.
"Very good... I really need to go all out, then!" Clarisse called,
trying to get the retreating Leaf with a lunge. When that failed,
she ditched her weapon, rolling forward, and speared Leaf to the
ground. (As in, she tackled him. She does not have a spear on
her)
(Also, for anyone who cares, her growth rates:
Strength:50~70%
Magic:35%
Skill/dexterity: 40%
Speed: 20%
Luck: 30%
Defence:40%
Resistance:30%
HP:80%)
"Ngh...!" Leaf was pulled down. "Such strength..." He used the
blunt end of his lance to prod her strongly against her side and
wriggle free. He retreated again and waited for her to get up.
Clarisse sprung up, reaching for her axe. She studied her oppinent
for a moment, then threw her axe in an horizontal arc. Another half
second, and she tried to tackle him again, but lower, so that he
couldn't wedge his lance in between them.
She figured she could make him submit, if she overpowered him in
close quarter.
The axe was predictable enough for him. He waited until she was
just over two arms length away before throwing the lance directly
at her chest, in order to knock her down
Clarisse kept pushing, tearing a hole in her uniform and ignoring
the pain as the lance tip pushed against her sternum. At last, she
managed toto power through, the lance slipping from Leaf's
hand.
Clarisse, with a triumphant grunt, tackled Leaf to the ground and
pinned his arms under her legs, leaning over his face, smirking:
"So, do you give?"
She hadn't noticed, but her bra was somewhat exposed by the hole in
the uniform.
"Indeed...I yield." He sighed. "Of course I wouldn't be a match for
you." He noticed but he didn't say anything just yet. "If you'd let
me stand up, I'll patch you up with the faith magic that I learnt."
*Marcus clap behind the background has he saw the two fight with
everything they got* Nice work Clari and you to Leaf you almost had
her *he tried to cheer her up after a lost* You both did great but
to be fair Clari already had the advantage from the start
Having stayed behind to gather more information about what he had
learned, Iola started when he saw the time and profusely thanked
his professor before running towards the sparring grounds. He only
barely made it to see Clarisse tackle leaf onto the ground as he
watched in awe, breathing heavily. This was amazing, no, they were
amazing!
"Hm?" He forced himself up and looked at Marcus, slightly annoyed.
"What exactly do you mean by that? Are you implying I'm inferior to
the everyone else here?"
