Pokemon that have been gigantimaxed have Giga in front of their name, which is why the dex section for them is under M&G (short for Mega & Giga), thus to find a shiny variant of a giga Pokemon you search using "shiny giga" and then the name of the species you're looking for data on. Similarly, if you're searching for a mega Pokemon then you search "shiny mega" and then the name of the species. Hopefully that helps!

Edit for an extra tip: If you're not sure about the exact name of a Pokemon, and you have access to it through your own Pokemon or one you know where to find (for example, if you wanted to know shiny caterpie but were struggling to get it searched in stonks then you could find the shiny caterpie that's always on my party) then you can copy and paste the name of the species of the Pokemon using the little heading at the top of a Pokemon's page! The top of it is the name or nickname of the Pokemon and under it, in faded text, is a few letters of the species name repeated followed by the species name. You can use the faded text for copy-pasting and put it in the address bar when looking for price information in stonks.
Just remember: You can't prove God didn't crawl out of the ocean.

Giga Pokemon are ridiculously overpriced imo. The stonks value of the crystals + pokemon is significantly less than the stonks value for the giga. In reality, it should be the opposite, as often is the case with megas; people pay more for crystals so they can gigantamax their own pokemon (for certain IVs/gender/nature, or their own OT).

To calculate the "true value" of a giga, you should use the stonks value of the crystals needed (for an easy-rarity shiny, that's 5) + the value of the base pokemon (which should be calculated by looking at the entire evo line, as stonks prices vary).

Imo, a Shiny Giga Butterfree should be worth 100k-120k (5*[12k to 14k per crystal] + 40k-50k for the shiny). These are based off values I remember, not actual stonks, so double-check if you want a more accurate one.

This applies to everyone:
Stonks is not absolute; you need to use common sense sometimes.

Pokemon values generally depend on supply: is someone hunting them? for events, when was the last distribution?

Item values depend mainly on demand: was a new pokemon released? is someone overpaying buying them for a hunt?

Still, just because one person is overpaying, that doesn't mean the item is worth that much. White Powders are now 275k, according to stonks. I value them at 200-220k. Mega Stones recently spiked to 225k (from 190k), because someone bought out the entire supply. The stonks value for Ice Gems is 3k.

Stonks is useful as a record of trading history, but is flawed as a pricing guideline. I do think it is necessary for an updated Price Check to be made (with the consultation of multiple users), considering multiple factors than just the daily "total sale price of items / number of items sold" that stonks uses.
