What if every time you landed on a sweet on the wheel of fortune, you got a 6-hour long boost, similar to the fountain. It is the Wheel of Fortune after all, not the Wheel of Sweets.

- These boosts could either depend on the sweet/item, or be randomly selected from a pool.
- The duration of the boost could be random
- You might not be guaranteed to get a boost, you could only have a 20% chance or so
- The boosts could be kept secret, to have a degree of surprise ("You also received a special boost", instead of directly revealing what it is)

Riako stated in this suggestion for more Fountain boosts, that he personally isn’t in favour of the idea, as ‘the fountain works because people want it to work’, so the boosts are kept vague.
I feel that with the fountain, you're making a wish to the "RNG gods", while with the WoF, you’re sort of risking your money in order to get lucky.

Relating to that, maybe the more GC you spend, the higher you chance to receive a boost (wouldn’t affect the degree of the boost). Maybe a maximum bet of 10k/25k.

I don’t think there should be negative outcomes (e.g. reduced shiny chance), as this is a game, not a gambling site.

Potential item-based boosts:
- (Blue)Berry - more berries harvested // more EXP from berry feeding
- Stawberry - more berries harvested
- Love - more EXP from training Pokemon // double interactions towards lovemeter
- Ribbon - more EHP for eggs
- Flower - faster growth rate for berries? // higher chance to level up berries?
- Star - increased shiny chance
- Clover - general luck boost (combination of the above, or could be something else)
- Evo stone - EXP boost for pokemon matching the type (similar to weather)
- GC - more GC from games // shorter cooldowns
- Mystery items - better items from mystery boxes / treasure hunt
- Pokeball - better catch rates for shadows/honeytree (and retro ghosts) // better fishing rates
- Old Vinyl - higher Retro shiny chance? (might only apply to Concentration ones)

With the EXP/EHP boosts, they could either affect your Pokemon/eggs, or others’ Pokemon/eggs.

For a pool of random boosts, it could include the above, as well as:
- MA chance boost
- higher chance to encounter a shadow
- greater event egg chance
- greater White Powder chance from BB tasks
- …

They wouldn’t be too large of a boost, similar to the fountain, as to not significantly affect gameplay. Like I mentioned above, the boosts could be kept secret, so a user doesn’t just try to grind that specific activity. The boosts could be kept short on purpose (maximum of 6 hours), to prevent users from finding out.

I originally liked the idea of boosts corresponding to sweets/items, but I think having them as randomised from a pool might be better, for the balancing reasons stated above.

With the boost messages (e.g. “You also received a special boost”), they could be randomised (to throw users off, have them speculate if a particular message corresponds to a boost).
