Noel usually didn't dream. If they did, they never really remembered what they dreamed about as the meaningless images were always out of reach by the time they woke up. Perhaps one would say that they didn't need to dream, all their memories phantoms that they couldn't shake off as their persistent claws had gouged and shaped Noel's very being. Some would say that it was a shame, to never dream, but Noel didn't mind the traceless slumber that moved from one moment to another. Waking up was much the same, an easy slide from sleep to wakefulness. There was something being made, the smell floating around in the air that felt so much like home that Noel was reluctant to open their eyes in case this was a dream.

Making a soft mumble, they pressed closer into the pillows, sinking into the soft warmth before sitting up with a gasp. Right, they were hiding away from a hero so it was no time to be lazing around. Glancing around warily, they caught sight of Chimichi in front of the stove, cooking something that Noel was unfamiliar with. "I don't know much about spells," They called out, voice thick with sleep, "But I don't think perception concealing spells blocks out smell. Better be careful..."

Nera had also showed up late. "Sorry I'm late, I'm not used to being like this." Anyone looking her direction would probably know exactly what she meant by that.

"I suppose I should go back to class now." Lucoan coughed out, standing up and trying to ignore his ankle the best he could. Looking back he realised that falling from the tile wasn't the best idea. Still keeping a hand against the wound he kept pressure applied to it as he exited out into the hallway. He'd have to try and figure out where his class was again.

Chimichi looks over at her. "Ah, it's alright. The spell doesnt make our dorm invisible, as much as it tucks it in between the fabric of space, making it look like there is nothing there, but ultimately, we are just hiding in plain sight." He reaches his hand over to grab something and accidentally touches a hot burner, burning his hand and causing him to drop the pan of meatballs on the floor. "Frick!" he yells, rushing to the sink to run his hand under cold water.

"Dumb?!" Demi replied through gritted teeth. A few sparks could be seen dancing around her fingertips. She opened her mouth to defend herself, but the student had already ascended up the stairs, and she heard the door shut behind him. She stood there for a few moments, staring blankly at the staircase. Then, she let out a loud, frustrated growl. How could she be so...so...stupid?! Shaking her head, the teen walked towards, then up the stairs, grumbling and muttering to herself to whole time.

Nera had kicked the dead body a few times, just to make sure he was really dead. "Yep, he dead. Just... Mind if I-"

She breathed in and proceeded to scream at the body, breathing fire at him as she did so. About 20 seconds later, she stopped.

"I just felt like doing that."

Watching with an amused smile, they finally crawled out of bed and trudged over to the medicine cabinet. Taking out various salves and a roll of bandages, they hauled themself up to sit beside the sink waiting for Chimichi to finish so they could bandage his burn. "So what were you making?" They asked, eyeing the fallen meatballs. They weren't familiar with the concept of spaghetti and meatballs, they usually just stuck with jerky and other preserved meat with raw meat being the occasional treat. Spinach was also something they ate a lot but outside of those foods, they never really ate anything. Kicking their feet childishly, they wondered if what Chimichi was making would taste any good

"The pain shall go in a few days. It is important though. If you didn't feel the pain it means your body is quite literally falling apart on the inside. Not pretty believe me. Still it only happens to...oh one in ten students." He explained giving a toothy smile

Lucian stumbled into to his classroom once more, sitting down in his seat. He placed his head on the next, holding in a pained groan as the cut flared. He looked up, though kept his chin on the desk.

Still grumbling to herself, Demi wandered down the hall, back to her classroom. Heading through the door, she went straight to her desk, where she proceeded to collapse Into her chair. She just wanted class to start, so she could forget about this whole "incident".

After a few minutes, Demi began to grow bored. She mindlessly drummed her fingers on the desk, while a sudden wave of exhaustion fell over her, causing her eyes to droop. What on earth was taking her teacher so long?
