Sniffing the wolf, SiuthernSun lowered herself to the ground so that the girl could slid off, giving a nodded to the girl, SouthernSun got up and trotted down the road. She snorte, as she came to a river bank.

"Hmm, oh. Sorry, I'm Paws, nice to meet you Kayoko and Silar" Paws said nervously, she'd never ridden a horse before or at least that kind of horse, she looked around the area, seeing a wolf. "Hmm, Am I in trouble? Or something" she asked

"Me, haha well originally i came out her to go dragon hunting." Seeing Kayoko's quick mood changes he guessed as to why. Speaking lowly he said "don't think about it too much, the best i can guess is that some of our memories were probably purposefully removed. It most likely has something to do with this place." Hearing Kayoko's remark after treating her wounds he looked at her smiling he then said, "maybe so but you didn't come prepared, so I'm willing to do it for you." he teased. "Nice to meet you Paws, why would you ask if you were in trouble?"

Keeping any eye on The girl on the Sleiphner, Nyx was listening to the conversation between Silar and Kayoko, Hearing about the missing memories because of her sharp hearing, she thought to herself if they are missing memories there is only the ancient creatures that could have done that. Nyx then seemed even more curious about these humans that her and Dakota became friends with. Seeing the girl slide off the Sleiphner and introduce herself in a friendly and nervous manner, Nyx finally relaxed.

Kayoko didn't laugh "Yeah. Maybe so, and. Maybe because Dakota is nearby, I guess she has a phobia of wolves or something. I don't know, dumb guess." she said. Then shrugged "Yeah, I try really hard to remember and, it makes me feel really bad that I don't remember anything. I know my name yes, but everything else.. did I even have parents?" she asked. "I'm just confused, and.. if we don't belong here, I just want to go home." she added sitting down. She didn't mean to be negative but she really did feel all those things, she was scared. She didn't notice herself shaking and starting to cry, she wiped some tears from her face and manged a weak smile. Crybaby.. she thought to herself.

Dakota kept listening, he heard something about missing memories and his conclusion was Kayoko getting worked up. He folded his ears back, and watched her be down in the dumps. He really wanted to help her, but he didn't know how. Ancients only have those sorts of powers.. and if there that strong.. is it a threat? No.. it would've killed these humans from the start if it had those intentions.. he thought to himself. Is there something bigger at play?? he wondered. He approached slowly Paws and tucked his tails between his legs. He nuzzled her, then walked back to Kayoko and sat next to her.

"All I remember that I was at home cooking before laying down on my couch" she said, she looked at the wolf and at the other thing, "hmm what kind of animal is that?" She asked , she wanted to pet the wolf, but she also doesn't know what they'll do. Looking back on where horse had gone, she wanted to call it back.

SouthernSun Trotted over the river into another valley, where she felt at easy, this one wasn't as big as hers but it's to explore, she galloped along the river bank into the valley, as she saw other animals, and she knew where the seers came from now.

Seeing Kayoko break down a bit shaking and crying, Not really knowing what else to do Silar knelt down next to her and pulled her into a hug. "Hey stop that now, i understand your feelings, but remember your not alone. As far as our missing memories are concerned i have a theory about it, if you want to hear it first you have to calm down and stop crying ok." Letting go of Kayoko he stood up and turned towards Paws, "As for you I'm interested in the fact that you remember something from before you woke up here. So far i can't remember anything before waking up here, except skills and some knowledge that has been helpful, i can't remember where i learned them, from who or anything like that." Silar said while thinking to himself could it be that there a varying degrees of memory loss in all of us?

Nyx watching everything was stunned by Silar's action, not quite knowing what to make of it. What did he just do....and why did he do it? was there some special reason behind it or not? She was filled with questions but just remained sitting nearby watching the things in front of her and listening for any potential threats in the surroundings.

"Huh, I only know who taught me, my skills that I know. I have a good memory" she said coming over to Kayoko, " do you need help?" She asked holding her hand out. She didn't felt safe out in the open like this. "Is there any possibility we came here at the same time?" She asked. Her brain was spinning around giving her a head-ache. "The more I think, the more it's getting worse." She said.

SouthernSun woke up from a short nap, maybe she shouldn't leave the girl with them, she got up and retrace her steps, she stopped short.

"You're treating me like a little kid." Kayoko muttered and wiped some tears off her face and began to calm down. "Now what did you want me to hear?" she asked Silar and stood up. She was curious about what her friend wanted to say then looked over in Paws's direction "Yeah. I can't remember anything, so it is very surprising that you can remember something. Like Silar said." she told Paws. I feel like something's watching me.. she thought trying to shake the thought aside.

Dakota noticed Kayoko calm down, he was glad he listened to the conversation travel back and forth. Then the hair on his back pricked up a bit when he smelled something in the area, he noticed a pair of eyes then they instantly vanished from his sight. He didn't growl, he noticed Kayoko turning to him and say "You noticed too?"

"Sorry, didn't mean for it to be like that, but I'm glad you calmed down." Silar said, while looking around and placing a hand on his blade. "Anyway as for my theory, I basically believe we were brought here from somewhere else for a reason, I'm willing to bet if we can figure out the reason and accomplish it we can return to where we belong. To sum it up the sooner we achieve the goal the sooner we go home." He said with some agitation. "Is it just me or has it become uncomfortable around here?"

Noticing something around Nyx went on full guard, taking a spot on a low branch in a nearby tree, she scanned the area. Not finding something put her on even more alert as she hissed loudly warning the others. She felt that whatever it was may of had an ability like hers to hide itself.

Paws gripped her bow tightly, "hmm anyone else feel that?" She said, she could feel the stare(s) and silently moved towards a tree. Her hands were shaking in nervousWhat's this feeling she thought.

SouthernSun saw shadows moving through the bushes, she snorted, and charged at the shadows, What are they doing? she thought.

"It's fine. And, I was thinking the same thing." Kayoko reached for her sword and slowly unsheathed it. Holding her blade, she slowly inched forward to where the pair of eyes had vanished from sight. "Weird.." she muttered and stopped near the growth a few feet away from her, then faster then she could blink a Liger jumped out and pinned her on the ground, knocking her sword away from her and it's claws digging into her skin. She let out a shrill shriek then curled her legs up into a ball, like she was about to spring back up and started kicking the beasts chest hoping to knock the breath out of it. Then Dakota tackled the Liger and they started circling preparing a fight to the death. She stoof up swiftly and staggered back, unable to swing her sword, which was away from her reach. Ugh, right after the deer creatures too! she thought.

Dakota snarled louder, his hair standing on end. No! Don't!! he thought as Kayoko inched towards the bushes. Then, the Liger pinned her sword, it's long claws digging into her arms. He charged at the Liger and rammed into it with all his might. No one hurts my master! he thought, he and the Liger circling him snapping and baring his teeth and the Liger getting ready to pounce.

Seeing the quick strings of events, Silar darted forward towards Kayoko noticing another pair of eyes near her in her blind spot, he yelled out "Nyx cannon shot." Silar , just reached Kayoko in time as he pulled her to the side with one hand and drew his blade with the other, as another Liger jumped out. Having his blade drawn he used it to block the claws aimed at him and Kayoko as the were knocked a little off to the side they dodged, as the Liger landed on the ground it suddenly was blown away into a tree and then fell limp and lifeless. Seeing this "good now help Dakota with timed rifle shots" he said towards Nyx.

Getting ready to jump into the fray of things Nyx stopped as she heard Silar's command, she then took a few moments to charge a shadowball. Finished charging it during Silar's exchange with the second Liger, she fired it in the calculated landing area so as to be sure to hit. After firing and seeing it fall limp, Nyx focused on supporting Dakota like Silar asked, making small shots near it's feet from time to time throwing it's balance off.

"Thanks Silar. I owe you one." Kayoko said. I can't fight in this condition.. she thought "Hey, Silar.." she said "I think we should retreat. I don't think the lion creatures mean't to target us, I mean after we killed the deer creatures then shortly after the lion creatures came. They may want the deer instead of us." she added. "It's your call."

Dakota fought tooth and claw, violently kicking, biting and scratching his way to victory. He dodged attacks then got a blow to the ear. He snarled and jumped at the Liger, locking it's jaws around it's neck and sinking his teeth into the flesh at an attempt to crush the cat's windpipe. He continued to hold his deadly grip until he heard a terrifying snap then let go. Sucks to be you.. he thought looking at the Liger.

"No problem Kayoko, I'm sure you would have done the same." Closing his eyes and concentrating Silar was feeling the surrounding area for any other presence's, only feeling one other presence that wasn't hostile, he opened his eyes. "Kayoko i don't think we have to worry, I'm not feeling any other hostile creatures in the area, the real question is which camp should we go to?" Putting his blade away, he turned to Kayoko, then examined her arms, "We should take some time to rest here though, i need to treat these wounds before we move anywhere." Looking at Nyx and Dakota, "Nyx could you patrol the area for awhile and if anything gets close, scare it off with a few warning shots. Dakota or Paws could one of you go get some water for me?" Looking back at Kayoko he said, "well this has been quite the day hasn't it?"

Nyx seeing that things calmed down, looked around what should we do now, that human doesn't look to be in good shape. While thinking this she heard Silar's suggestion and request, well he makes a good point, but he will owe me for this. She left quickly traveling the tree's in the area 50 meters out from Silar and the rest in a circle, watching for any movement.

Paw quickly climbed the closet tree and started to shoot carefully at the ground near the Ligars, she saw a Ligar trying to climb the same tree, so she shot ats its feet, "I don't wanna kill them" she whined.

SouthernSun came running with a Ligar on her back, she jumped and did a summersalt to get the Ligar off of her, and faced the others, she charged through the dust.

Seeing there were, still two Ligers, he thought to himself, damn my senses must be a bit dull, rushing towards the first Liger that was thrown off the Sleiphner, while it was still somewhat dazed he drew close, unsheathing his blade right next to the Liger he struck it twice in an x pattern. After it fell down motionless, Silar moved to the last one trying to climb the tree Paws was in, getting close enough he jumped over top of it while stabbing it, he rolled away as they landed on the ground hard. Looking up at Paws, "It's ok now Paws that was the last of them."

Nyx keeping patrol heard the sounds of two Ligers cry our as the fell and figured that there were probably a few more that were just taken care of, so she continued her patrol.

After spending the evening making her shelter, Khaalida crawled inside and slept. She spent the next morning tracking down a creature that had walked by her stick tent. It had left avian and cat like paw prints, making her think it was a feline stalking a large bird and she hoped that she could catch the winner of the fight off guard and get herself a decent meal. The rest of the morning and part of the afternoon she spent following the trail. She came up to a creek and lost the trail as it didn't come out on the other side. Perhaps it fell into the water? She turned around only to fall backwards and smash her head off of a rock as the sharp talons and great strength of a griffon push her onto the ground. The creature had noticed her following it as she was upwind of it. When it reached the stream it flew over the trees and started moving silently along behind her. She let out a scream as it's claws ripped at her shoulders and face, leaving deep red cuts on her chest and three across her cheek. The next thing Khaalida sees is the blue sky. The weight of the beast off of her and then black. She felt her body seemingly floating. I think I died... She thought before she lost any and all consciousness.

Zmaj had woken after Khaalida and had watched her from his perch in the trees. I wonder what she's doing today... He followed above her as she walked, climbing along the branches. He stops as he grows tired so he lays down on a few strong limbs as she stops by a stream. His head snaps up at the sound of her scream. He lunges through the trees and finds a griffon clawing at her, coming dangerously close to her throat. With one bite and a sickening snap, Zmaj tosses the dead griffon to the side and looks down to Khaalida. I thought I smelled something back there... Are you okay? He let out a concerned rumble as she closed her eyes. I can't let her lay here... I'm taking her back to my hollow... He walks forwards and carefully picks her up in one clawed foot, he leaps up into the air and spreads his powerful wings and propels them up and forwards. He turns and flies straight as an arrow towards one of, if not the largest tree in the forest. He sets Khaalida's limp form down on the soft floor in the nest-like hole in the side of the tree which was filled with leaves and animal fur. He climbed inside and nestled himself around her, his tail curled protectively around her small form. I shan't let that happen again Khaalida... My Khaalida...

(I sincerely apologize for my inactivity... This college class is being a hassle...)

on the way back from chasing off the ligers, SouthernSun noticed something shiny in the ground, sniffing at it, could be useful to that girl she thought, and trotted to the girl. Realizing that she saw a pile of sticks she curiously sniffed at it and followed the smell.

"Hmm thanks, I'm sorry I don't like hurting animals" she said hoping down the tree, she realized that she had a claw make on her ankle. She saw how many of them were laying on the ground.

Aurora awoke to a blaring sun glaring into her eyes, causing her to instinctively sit up and run her eyes to block out the light. Once her eyes adjusted to the daylight, she looked around at her surroundings. "Where is this place? I don't remember ever being here. Actually, I don't remember anything..." As she tried to think of her past, to bring any memories to the surface, her head started to ache, and Aurora muttered an "Ow...".

She was surrounded by an open field, with forests lining one side and a stream jutting through like a crack on a sidewalk. Nearby, the faint sound of a beastly roar could be heard every now and again. Aurora was startled by the noise, panic flowing through her veins. If I am attacked right now, I'll die! I have no weapons...Wait, what is that?!

She noticed out of the corner of her eye a sword, gleaming from the sunlight. She hurriedly picked it up, the feeling of the cool metal surface strangely familiar. She felt more confident with a sword in her arms, even if she had no recollection of being able to wield one to save her life.

My, what a silly little creature. She is just sitting there, as if she has no idea what to do. Maybe I should go greet her, and make sure she stays away from any Ligers. A griffin, adorned with blood red fur spotted at the tips with ebony, fluttered down from his perch in a tree to welcome the human back from being unconscious. She was excited to greet him, screaming out her thanks at his appearance from "out of the blue" as she had said. After she finished freaking out, the griffin sat down and watched her as she slowly tried to stand. Her legs fell from under her, and he used his wings to support her until her legs got used to the idea of walking. She mumbled out a surprised "t-thank you..." as she regained the use of her limbs.

In a gentle voice, he heard the girl say, "Would you like to come along with me?" He had a hard time believing anyone, especially thisbmere human, would want to travel with him, but it made him happy to be wanted for once in his life. He nuzzled her head as a sign he agreed. "Then I shall call you Drake! How does that sound?" Hmm I do no mind the sound of that name, I shall allow her to call me that.

Coming to where another girl was on the ground hanging out with a creature, Maybe I should give this to her she thought. SouthernSun slowly but surely creeped out into the open, she looked at the girl and drop the item off in front of her before turning and running the other way. She galloped back to her little valley again, and continue onward.

Kayoko grinned "Yeah. But I don't think you'll go down that easily, based on judgement and skill in combat. Well I worry, I don't want to BE dinner. Speaking of dinner, when I get back to my shelter I'm going to go cook something. And, we can head to mine." she added. "Yeah, if you call getting beaten up by wild animals a day." she joked. "Called it." she announced noticing the two new Ligers. "And bright ideas?" she asked Silar and Paws.

Dakota ran off into the grove in search of water. He stopped at a lake not too far from where Kayoko, Silar and Paws were. He grabbed a large leaf and scooped up two mouthfuls of water and walked carefully back to Kayoko making sure he didn't spill anything. Once he got there with the water he sat next to Silar waiting for him to take it.
