Khaalida had gathered a few sticks and was walking through the brush when she stopped as she heard voices. People? She set down the sticks and put a hand on her weapon, walking slowly and stepping around twigs and leaves that would give her away. This dragon seems to be nice, but I don't know about other people... She warned herself as she crouched behind a large bush peering through it at the two human figures. They've befriended creatures too... That's a wolf, but, what's that? She asks herself, referring to the cat with a fish tail. She turned her head at the sensation of warm breath on her back. She let a half smile pull at her lips before she turned back to watch the humans.

Zmaj climbed along the trees in the branches and limbs above the ground so he wouldn't accidentally trample the human he'd grown fond of. She does seem to think she knows what she's doing... He stopped when she did, his head snapped up at the sound of voices. More things like Khaalida? Interesting... His forked tongue slithered in and out of his mouth collecting the various scents. Two things, a wolf, and a serval... What an interesting combination... He slowly and gracefully set his large body on the ground and set his head behind Khaalida. His golden eyes focused on her as she turned to look at him then back to the bush.

Laughing as Kayoko teased him Silar felt as though something was weird like the feeling of being watched "don't worry Kayoko no need to worry about me" looking at Nyx he noticed she seemed to be warily watching the forest in a certain direction. i guess there is someone or something watching us..since Nyx does not seem to be too on guard i guess i won't worry either. Shocked at the sudden invitation by Kayoko to stop by he grinned "perhaps i will sometime..after all i don't plan on staying here forever. After a few days of making preperations i plan to try and find the exit of these woods and see whats around" bidding farewell to Kayoko he watched as she took half the remaining uncooked game and walked off back to her shelter. what an interesting person Afterwards he looked at Nyx "Nyx should i say something to our other guest or let them be?" watching Nyx's actions he then decided, looking towards the forest "well whoever or whatever you are you can come out we don't bite... unless we have to" Silar said chuckling to himself.

Halfway through the conversation between Kayoko and Silar Nyx felt a slight presence aswell as feeling like they were being watched strange it seems like someone is there but I'm not sure. Sniffing the air a bit she was a little shocked why would a dragon be here...but it doesn't seem to have bad intentions...still i should watch just in case. Seeing Silar notice her wary nature, she just kept watching towards the forest, after Kayoko left Silar asked something that amused her and so in response she stood up and walked casually towards the forest to where she believed the dragon was at. normally i would leave it be just in case it turned hostile but now somehow i think me and Silar could handle a dragon if were together, if it attacks anyway. hopefully this one is friendly like i think.

Before leaving, she heard the crunching of twigs and looked over in Khaalida's direction. She smiled then left. Back at her hut, she started a fire to cook some of the game Dakota caught. Once the fire was ready she started to cook an unfortunate Jackalope. She looked over quickly in Dakota's direction and noticed he looked hungry as well. She smiled and took it off almost burning the meat. She cut it in half with her sword and gave one half to Dakota and bit into her half. "Could use something else.." she said to herself after swallowing a bite of meat. She noticed Dakota was almost done with his half and sighed. He needs to eat more slowly.. she thought to herself before taking another bite.

Dakota waited patiently for his master to give him his half. When Kayoko looked in his direction he was happy she noticed and sped it up. When she gave him his half he ate it in ravenous bites, not savoring the food. Like a wolf would. After about forty seconds he was almost done with his meal. He realized his master Kayoko was sighing. Maybe.. she doesn't like the way I eat? Oh well.. he pondered and continued to eat alongside his master.

After a long while of silence, not getting any response or hearing any noise Silar decided to let it go. Calling Nyx back he went back to finishing up cooking his food, using the seasoning plants he grabbed, a few minutes later using large leaves he split the food between himself and Nyx. Taking a few bites and feeling satisfied with the taste he turned to look at Nyx, who was eating hungrily but elegantly still "do you like my cooking?" Silar asked, smiling at her response after eating i should practice a bit with my blade and then set about the other things i think should be done. Finished eating he stood up drawing his clear crystal-like blade and walked away from the fire a bit "Nyx help keep an eye on the surroundings I'm going to practice a bit", getting an almost eerie meow-like noise in response Silar started practicing. After about half an hour of various sword slices and thrust with movements that looked like those of a dance he finished with practice thinking to himself strange why do i have knowledge of such things like swordplay and survival skills but no memories of when i learned them ,where or even from who? Making a seemingly agitated face he quickly shook his head clearing his thoughts "no matter what thinking about it just doesn't help, i will just be glad i have such skills, it seems i will need them." looking at Nyx he called out "Nyx lets head into the forest i need to gather some materials" picking up a few sharpened sticks he headed towards the forest.

Nyx standing at the foot of the forest, turned upon be called to eat and decided not to worry about the dragon nearby as long as it doesn't do anything bad it should be fine. Tasting the food before her she couldn't help but dig in as it tasted better than food she normally ate this human how did he bring about such flavor, i wonder if i will always get something like this if i am with Silar. Being asked if she liked the food she could only respond with a satisfied smile. After eating she responded to Silar's request by lightly roaring sitting up perking her ears up to listen around, but was also watching Silar as she was interested in those dance-like movements oh my I've never seen such interesting and beautiful swordplay before. Almost entranced she snapped out of it when Silar finished and she saw that slightly agitated look, worried something was wrong she watched him closely until he told her that they were going into the forest to gather materials. perhaps something on his mind bothered him but he looks fine now she thought to herself as she followed Silar into the forest.

Animus decided to check on Silar before continuing it's journey. It slinked quietly through the forest, once it spotted Silar and a Sea Serval next to him it froze watching him. It was amused that another human befriended a creature, and continued to marvel that. After a few minutes, it decided to leave. It left, but then stepped on a twig and froze in place. It stayed perfectly still, and was camouflaged so it looked like part of the landscape. But it knew it's disguise wouldn't last forever so it stay still until it was the right time to slowly and quietly leave.

Dakota finished his meal and looked around, scanning the area. It was safe, besides the Rune Drake nearby. He decided to check one more time before going off to hunt again for his master, he ran through the forest with surprising speed catching what he could along the way. He stopped once in a while to get a drink then continued, then came back to Kayoko with more game. He set it down close to the hut while Kayoko was busy honing her sword skills. He noticed she'd gotten better since her last practice and continued to watch her, making sure she was safe.

Kayoko watched Dakota leave and continued to practice her sword play waiting for her ally's return. She practiced for a half hour before spotting Dakota return with some prey. She gave Dakota a smile and continued to practice, blocking and pretending to disassemble one's own sword by using the hilt of her blade. Then went on to stabbing and jabbing, then swinging and predicting sudden movements. After her hard work she got a drink of water and whipped some sweat off her forehead. She noticed Dakota was watching her and she was happy that she could impress him this time instead of her being the impressed one.

After spending a few hours in the forest, Silar and Nyx returned to their camp and Silar immediately began to organize the various plants and objects he acquired. "Nyx if you are not too tired could you go and get us about 20-25 fish?" before Silar even looked up to see her he heard a splash, "I'll take that as a yes" Silar mused to himself. Earlier in the forest Silar had asked Nyx to display her abilities so he would know what she was able to do, so her ability of fading and moving in the shadows can be used for about 20 minutes and her shadowball attack can be fired rapidly, charged to fire a large blast, or fire fore shots at once. That gives us a few tactics against stronger opponents. While Nyx was 'fishing' Silar set about finishing the makeshift backpack he started on earlier with the jackalope pelts, after finishing he looked up at the sky, determined that it looked clear and shouldn't rain, he decided to set up a shelter tomorrow. After Nyx finished gathering fish Silar started cooking dinner, while it cooked he made a bed from some large leaves he brought back then turned to look at Nyx, "Nyx after dinner lets get some good rest, tomorrow after we eat and make a shelter we are going dragon hunting".

Nyx being asked to go gather around 20-25 fish, immediately jumped into the water, After all even though she displayed her abilities, because of the leisurely pace, she was able to recover her strength and therefore wasn't too tired. I wonder why he wants so many fish? she thought to herself but still complied. Spending some time gathering all the fish upon returning with the last batch, she sat watching Silar finish making some strange object What is that and what is it for? when he finished making the object she watched as he set it aside, then began cooking. She watched as he brought some leaves together on the ground and figured that was probably where he was sleeping tonight, after that when he spoke to her about getting rest because he planned to go dragon hunting she couldn't help but feel a little excited. He want's to go dragon hunting tomorrow... this should prove very interesting, i can't wait for morning to come. Nyx mused to herself grinning widely.

Khaalida's stomach dropped as one of the humans turned and looked in her general direction. Drat... She maintained her motionlessness until the humans had left. They don't seem to be too hostile... Well, they don't seem to be working together but I might not want to provoke them anyways... She turned around and jumped as she nearly walked into Zmaj's snout, having forgotten he was so close behind her. "You know, I have a perfect name for you... Zmaj. What do you think? If you're going to follow me around I'll need a name for you..." She smiled as the dragon seemed to be pleased with his own name. She walked around him and grabbed the sticks from before and kept going around and gathering decent sized sticks of various lengths and thickness. Once she gets an arm load she sets them down in a pile before going off and gathering more, setting those on the pile.

Zmaj watches the humans talk in the clearing before them and watches them leave. What silly creatures... He thinks to himself as Khaalida almost bumps into his muzzle when she turns around. Zmaj... I like it. He pulls the corners of his long mouth back imitating her facial expression. As she walks away from him he climbs into the trees and moves along the branches with a grace unknown to many creatures. He perches on a particularly thick limb as he observes Khaalida gather a good number of sticks and branches. What is she doing? Perhaps she doesn't know of my hollow in the large tree...

After sleeping for a few hours, Silar woke up peering around, noticing warmth next to him he looked down to see Nyx snuggled close to him. She's almost exactly like a cat, noticing the small wings on her back, he reached out and stroked her head. "Morning Nyx time to get up", after she woke up she just lifted her head enjoying the petting she received. After stretching and morning practice Silar started breakfast, while cooking he looked at Nyx "Hey Nyx i noticed the wings on your back, are you able to fly?" In response Nyx made a demonstration of what she could do, "ahh i see you cant fly but you can glide, that is still pretty effective." Thinking for a moment "Nyx your really amazing you know that" he said while petting her head, then started on making his shelter. After about an hour he finished his shelter, which was set between two tree's an equal distance from each other and made from some vines, thick branches and large leaves set at an angle. "Well this may not look like much but as long as the weather isn't bad it will hold. alright let's go Nyx." securing his sword and the make-shift backpack Silar once more headed into the forest with Nyx.

Nyx feeling more comfortable than she had in a long time, was woken up by the Silar calling to her, though she almost fell back asleep due to the petting. Watching Silar practice she decided to go for a short swim, coming back to the smell of breakfast. After eating he asked her about her if she could fly after noticing her wings, to answer his question Nyx made a show of running up to a tree and kicking off of it and spreading her wings. Showing that she was unable to fly but capable of gliding when her wings were outstretched. After that she received a petting and was praised this really does feel good and this human is quite fun to be around. Watching Silar spend some time on a shelter she looked questioningly at it, but hearing what Silar said she just prepared to leave, trusting in her friends judgement.

{OOC; Sorry I've been so inactive! I've been REALLY busy and haven't had much time, but I'm back now. So I'll be a bit more active. I have somewhere to be on Saturday though, then on Monday and Thursday. >.<}

Kayoko woke up and noticed she decided to take a nap, with Dakota on her lap asleep as well. She smiled warmly and shook him up lightly "Wake up." she said gently. She noticed her Direwolf's eyes open, she stood up and decided to cook something. She was hungry, so she grabbed a piece of Dakota's game and cooked it. Smoke coming from the fire while she was cooking the meat, after a few minutes she took it off the fire and put water on the fire. Then she and Dakota split the game, him eating like-an animal, obviously and Kayoko eating like a normal human being. She wondered how Silar and Nyx were doing and that other girl and the dragon with eat bite. Once she finished the kill she announced "You wanna go explore the forest a bit Dakota?" her pet looked uncertain then wagged his two tails in reply-a yes. "Alright." she said with a goofy grin and took her sword, her smile fading. "Let's go." she said, as the twosome left their shelter for a while.

Dakota was getting shaken, then heard a familiar voice. He opened his eyes and noticed Kayoko, his master waking him up. He stood up then watched his master get up as well, he scanned the area then realized Kayoko was going to cook for the both of them. Excited he waited patiently for Kayoko to cook the meal, when she was finished and a few minutes had passed they split the kill in half Dakota ate his share and finished it in about forty seconds tops. Once his master finished her meal she told him something that caught him off guard "You wanna explore the forest a bit Dakota?" she asked him. He looked uncertain that his master could handle it, then again she'd been practicing with her sword and she'd built a hut and lived in it for some time now. She had some experience with the outdoors so he decided to go with a wag from his two tails. Then they both left the hut and went off into the woods, not knowing what awaited them.

Animus walked away quietly when it noticed the two, Silar and Nyx waking up. It was glad it wasn't caught, so it continued it's journey quietly not wanting to stop and check on it's heroes. It chose wisely and hoped they'd all survive the troubles that awaited them, it stopped worrying and trudged on ahead leaving his heroes in the midst of the forest.

While traveling in the forest, Silar didn't say much only thinking to himself. If what Kayoko said is true about there being others, then i wonder if there's some purpose in being here, aswell as not having parts of our memory, is it all connected somehow? Traveling for awhile like that he finally cleared his head, looking at Nyx he said "Nyx can you go in shadow form and scout ahead?" Watching her vanish into the ground he couldn't help but be amazed. I don't think I'll ever not be amazed at that.

Nyx walking around bored of all the quiet was excited to finally do something. Being asked to scout in shadow form, she immediately complied disappearing into the ground and racing off. Hmmm, i wonder what i should scout for? She questioned until just then she saw a familiar figure and wolf walking around aswell. Pondering a moment she decided to move in close and scare the two she had previously encountered. This might be fun. she mused to herself, as she drew in close to Dakota and then, 'pounce' she jumped from the shadow onto Dakota's back standing there like she was on a horse. She looked to Kayoko and moved her tail as if waving hi.

Kayoko smiled when she saw Nyx then crouched on the ground to welcome her friend "Hey Nyx." she said "Have you seen Silar around anywhere?" she asked, rather curious. She didn't know where he went, he went 'poof' just like Nyx and was gone in a flash. Nyx isn't hurt.. or shaken up, so I guess he's okay. she thought to herself. She noticed Dakota giving her a glance then smiled again to make up for her lousy mood. "I'm fine." she told Dakota before standing up again.

Dakota was walking nearside Kayoko, then he got tackled by Nyx. He didn't try to push the Sea Serval off him, he just let her sit on him. He laid down on the ground waiting for her to get off him. He noticed Kayoko ask where Silar was then get lost in her thoughts, he looked at her a little concerned then watched his master try to hide her feelings. He huffed and just sat there waiting for Nyx to get off him.

"hmm, where am I?, Hello anyone there?" she asked, as she thought she heard a horse in the distinct. She listened to the sound and realize it was coming fast and it was coming for her. Paws jumped onto the otherside of the bushes.

SouthernSun came galloping down a road, she stopped and sniffed, she snorted and followed the smell, intill she saw a head. Once for a while she thought it was a bunny, but it wasn't she nudge the thing.

While moving forward steadily in the direction Nyx went off in, Silar suddenly felt like something was nearby. Drawing his katana he looked around until suddenly, from behind a two large antelope looking creatures charged at him. Quickly dodging one and slashing it's side it let out a shrill shriek, not able to doge the other though Silar pulled his blade and sheathe in front of him while jumping to try and lessen the impact. somewhat parrying the blow, his left arm had been scratched and he was knocked away a few feet. "Well your not dragons but i guess you'll do." Silar said while standing up watching the two creatures stalk around him.

Nyx getting off Dakota was about to go greet Kayoko, When she heard a loud shriek coming from the direction Silar was in. That sounds close to where i left Silar. Perking up her ears she looked at Kayoko before turning to leave quickly heading towards her friend. Upon arriving, she saw Silar getting up and saying something, hearing his words, she naturally prepared to fight aswell.

Dakota ran after Nyx and threw himself at an Elkrin and locked his jaws around it's neck and knocked it over with the impact and with sheer force. He then leaped back from the attacker and walked over to Silar curling his lip and drawing it back into a snarl. He snapped it's jaws and gave the Elkrin his intimidating wolf glare.

Kayoko flinched at the scream and ran after Dakota, when she found the three she looked around to process the things she was seeing. She saw Silar and Dakota, then Nyx and two deer-things. She drew her sword, ready to bust some heads. "What's going on?" she demanded giving Silar a murderous glance before focusing on her attackers "You idiot. What made you get them this riled up? Deer are usually peaceful, unless you're deadly close to their.." she stopped talking and looked around swiftly "Silar.. do you see a small version of these two anywhere?" she asked him, deadly serious.

SouthernSun heard Sreeching, from somewhere but Ingored it, she sniffed the girl, on her head, trusting the girl she layed down waiting for the girl to get on her back.

'Huh? you want to get on you back?" gathering her stuff up she got up, and sat on the horse, realizing what they where going.

"Hey keep your murder glance at those two, i was the one attacked. Also I'm not an idiot, i know full well that usually deer are peaceful, but seeing as how were in unfamiliar territory I don't want to completely rely on things i know to be true. Besides these things are clearly different, i didn't even feel their presence until they were close enough to attack, like they were stalking prey. But I'll take your suggestion, Nyx get a higher vantage point and see if you see anything." Silar said while keeping his stance and watching the two creatures seeming to be ready to attack again. Strange even if i were near their children they wouldn't attack like this, they would first run or sit still unless provoked.

Hearing Silar's request, Nyx transformed into a shadowed blur as she hurried up the nearby tree. Stepping onto a branch she looked around carefully, not noticing anything at all in the area near them, not even smaller animals were around which she found strange. There's nothing around at all? This is unusual. Transforming into a blur again, she appeared by Silar shaking her head, showing nothing around.

Kayoko tensed then held her sword out to block an Elkrin's strike, she then let go and sidestepped it's horn cutting her skin. She grit her teeth and jabbed her sword into it's side, then twisted it violently and kicked the deer. She then yanked her sword out the Elkrin falling onto the ground. "Sorry.." she muttered silently. She looked at the other creature and spit on the ground and got into her attacking stance "I'd appreciate some help Silar." she said ignoring her bleeding shoulder. "And I didn't mean to offend you, and if protecting isn't the case.. what if someone, or something provoked the deer into attacking us?" she suggested to Silar keeping her grip on her weapon.

Dakota continued to guard Silar, watching his master attack he felt good that he picked her out. She fights like an Alpha Direwolf. he thought, he felt the urge to attack as well but didn't want to leave his pack-mate unattended. He winced looking in Kayoko's direction, mainly staring at her wounded arm. He listened and kept guard, Kayoko's suggestion clever. She's just like a Direwolf.. he told himself, watching over his two pack-mates.

The Horse Jumped between everyone, and stop the Battling, Paws was Shaking, she notice people "hmm" she said nervously. She didn't get off, she also realized a weird looking deer laying on it's side, and the other one staring at the horse.

SouthernSun snorted at both deer and the girls, she stared at the the deer right in its's eye, before it turned at ran off, then she looked at the dead deer, she then glanced at the things, that were attacking them.

Seeing the newcomer and seeing the Elkrin run away, Silar examined this new girl on a horse-like creature with multiple legs. "Who might you be?" he questioned, noticing she had a bow, he put his blade away, she must not mean any harm, if she did she wouldn't have to get so close. Moving towards Kayoko, Silar pulled out some of the medicinal plants and slim vines he had in his bag. "Let me treat your arm Kayoko," he said after treating his own wounds. "These plants will help stop the bleeding and keep it from getting infected." Looking to the girl riding the creature, "by the way I'm Silar."

About to fire a shadowball, Nyx stopped when a Girl riding a Sleiphner appeared. Nyx stayed on guard against her, watching her carefully even after Silar put his blade away, Silar must not think she's dangerous, but just in case I'll keep a guard on her.

Kayoko looked at the girl riding a horse with multiple legs. She then whipped the blood off her sword and sheathed it. "Alright.." she responded to Silar "And, I know that. I wouldn't have survived this long if I didn't know something like that." she said with a goofy grin. "And I'm Kayoko." she told the girl on the horse. She noticed Dakota sniffing the horse and hoped the horse wouldn't get spooked. "I..." she tried grasping for a memory she couldn't remember, she frowned. Noticing her wolf's concern she smiled again, for everyone's sake. "S-so.. what're you doing out here Silar?" she asked her voice wavering.

Dakota looked at the horse first before noticing the girl, he approached Southernsun and kept a close distance from it's back legs and sniffed it from afar. He then stepped back and watched Silar and Kayoko talk, he found it romantic that Silar was helping Kayoko. He then realized his master change moods swiftly again, and looked sad. He wanted to cheer her up, but didn't know how to in the first place.
