My sister and I own Sims 4 (at this point she pays for the account
and I pay for all of the add-ons), so I was just making sure we
have all the DLC add-on stuff. 102. 102 add-ons, from whole content
packs to stuff packs. I didn't buy it all, my sister was buying it
and had over 1k hours in Sims 4 before I ever started playing it (I
only started playing it after discovering that I could no longer
download my Sims 2 discs due to missing discs and Sims 2 is peak
pet content due to the fact that you can support a single sim by
having a household with 7 pets who are working while the single sim
takes care of them), but 102 add-ons is still wild, lol

The other day, a customer saw me stick half a mini beef stick into
my mouth before finishing her transaction and she said something
like "Oh, are you hungry?" To which I responded (honestly) that my
work schedule means that my meal schedule doesn't match up with
anyone else in my family so I don't eat a whole meal most of the
day and eat beef sticks when my body craves salt and protein to
stay alive. Her response equated to "fair enough, enjoy your meat
stick"

Our dogs have a water bowl thing that filters with the use of a
battery bar, but sometimes it decides not to work suddenly and
needs re-plugged in. Clyde takes these opportunities not to guide
us to the problem but to push the bathroom door open and take one
lap from the toilet bowl before almost always being discovered by
me. The bathroom has one of its doors connected to the gaming room,
where I'm typically chilling out. If I hear his nails go click
clack on that specific tiling, then I know to listen for what he's
doing and if I hear so much as a lap then I yell for him to stop
(he runs like he did nothing), check his water, and make sure it's
got power and water. He IS a little turd, but it's not really a
good idea to let him drink from a toilet no matter how often it's
cleaned.

Fun fact: Luna has taught Clyde the ways of the Pillow Royalty. We
call her a pillow princess because I bought a floor pillow to use
on the couch and floor whenever needed and Luna just decided she
was going to lay on it. She also gnawed off the buttons on both
side that gave it a functional seat section. Clyde watched her be a
pillow princess enough that he became a pillow prince and now
enjoys laying on the pillow just as much as anywhere else. It's
probably why he lays on the gaming room couch but not the living
room couch without petting needed.

Clyde got a little too excited while playing with my dad and I, he
accidentally bit down too hard on my left hand. Didn't draw blood,
but now I can't rotate my hand to do anything without gradual but
throbbing pain going down my hand from right before my wrist, where
he got me on the back of my hand. Baby boy doesn't know his
strength enough and got too excited to remember to hold back. It
hurt a ton to even type this out, so I don't get to finish my
diamond art thing that I wanted to get through today. RIP

Can tell today isn't a good day. Just rememebred the invasive lady
from January who caused me to breakdown into sobs at the register
because she insisted on finding out why I wasn't "acting like
myself" (aka masking so that I'm in less danger around strangers
due to my disability) and I was just trying not to think about our
dog who had passed away not long ago. Time to unhealthily suppress
my emotions to exist in the real world again, lol

Did the descriptor "doggedly" come from the action "hound" or is it
the other way around?

Bruh, the schedule for work today looks WILD. There must be a
manager meeting today that even includes the Lead Associates,
because there are 3 people scheduled to work for 1 hour and one of
those people is scheduled to have literally just now gotten off
work from a morning shift and will need to be back in like 90
minutes.

Today, I was woken up by Luna. Someone left the basement door
slightly open and she got lonely enough since my dad is still
asleep that she actually went into the basement by herself to get
some attention. Also, Clyde and her clearly were REALLY energetic
and needed to be let outside to burn some energy and have some fun
playing together.

Bruh. Wednesday is supposed to be my regular one garaunteed day off
from work. Recently, I've been scheduled on it semi-regularly. I
was looking forward to not having to take my brother's birthday off
this year so I could, like, buy him a gift of his choosing at a
store and be there for his birthday dinner. I got a cruddy little
shift that day instead. What in the world???

Don't you guys hate when you wake up to start a new day, then after
you move around a bit you start planning out what you're going to
do in what order but then there's so much to think about that your
brain gives up and makes you go back to sleep? Maybe it's just a
neurodivergent thing, or maybe it's because ever since I was little
I was an absolute monster to get out of bed. My family would have
to literally strip my bed of blankets and pillows and stuffed
animals most mornings, while flashing the bedroom light and making
a ton of noise for me to get up.

We pivoted restaurants but it was still delicious. Iowa has some
GOOD pizza. My dad thinks it's funny when places that are known for
their pizza start fighting over who has the best and start
insulting each other by trying to debate how authentic their pizza
is to Italy. He thinks it's funny funny because they fight due to
having Italian heritage but within his lifetime we (I believe) had
a massive amount of Italian immigration because of a mafia being
here, which means our area specifically has a lot of family recipes
and local foods that are more modern Italian than the coasts. The
rule of thumb is that when you immigrate, your in-depth knowledge
of the culture there freezes because you no longer live there.
(We've got a DELICIOUS brand of italian seasoning here, and I went
to middle and high school with one of the kids of that family)

Work shift is over, time to eat dinner with my family for Father's
Day!

It endlessly amuses me that some people look at One Piece and go
"that's one long goofy pirate fighting anime" without realizing
it's actually one long goofy pirate fighting anime about taking
down corrupt organizations from gangs to governments, lol

Goldie gained almost 13 million EXP and Kyle gained almost 5
million EXP. I love x2 days.

My shift starts at 10am, which means I have to leave the house at
8am for a 45-60 minutes long commute which would take about 7
minutes by car.

You push the dark blue key carefully into the hole, turn it twice
to the left and... cccrrk!!
The mystery box opens and you look into it curiously...
1x Enigma Stone found!
The key breaks and becomes useless.

I don't want to sleep but early shift tomorrow. Also, my store
manager shifted my shift further into the day because we don't need
3 people in to stock a non-freezer truck at 6:30am and we WILL need
another person later in the day because it's summer break, Father's
Day, and a Sunday. Also, she tries REALLY hard not to schedule
anyone with clopeners. They're the devil. No one should go less
than 12 hours between shifts.
