Appearance:

Araysh is much different from the other Absols in terms of appearance. He is the reverse colors of his species with white body and dark grey fur. There is a ring around his horn and two around his left leg. All the rings are green and change color to red with strong emotions, mainly anger. Araysh’s eyes have green sclera with red irises. He has an extra claw on each of his legs and green blood.

Personality:

Alone, aloof, afraid; He is very untrusting of others, especially Pokemon and will often prefer spending time in solitude. He is especially bitter to other Absols for an unknown reason, but tends to be respectful to others. He is known to be extremely hard to befriend and spends most of his time frustrated for seemingly no reason.

Backstory

I shouldn’t gossip. After all, it’s rude to talk about someone, who’s always listening. (PP for backstory, I don’t want to reveal it publicly).

Aegir "Addle" Andersen

Appearance:

Aegir has a sandy beige complexion with some freckles dotted on his cheeks, nose, shoulders, and arms. He has a slight baby face (but don't tell him that) and wide eyes, one brown and the other eye, with a four-pointed star/diamond shaped pupil, is a teal-silver blue. His hair is curly (2c-3a), reaching to his shoulders and back, and brown in color. He is yet to disclose whether or not it is dyed. His clothes are worn. He has a distressed, ripped brown sweater layered on top of a sleeveless beige shirt, and baggy worn khaki and army green cargo pants, with pockets typically all filled with a random objects, as well as a dagger he uses to cut berries from trees tucked into a brown worn utility belt. He also wears distressed warm grey fingerless gloves with red ribbons sewn into the front. He also dons several golden piercings on his lip, eyebrow, and ears. He's roughly 5'6 feet tall (170.688 cm, 1.7 meters), and has a lean body type.

Personality:

While at first glance, Aegir appears to be composed and inattentive, but in reality, it's because he's confused, yet again, about something that to others, should be quite obvious (hence the nickname "Addle", as he's constantly addled by even the simplest of things). He constantly misplaces his objects due to his forgetfulness, caused by an event in his past he can't remember entirely. And when he comes close to remembering it, he only remembers useless tidbits like walking towards something, sighing, or even simply blinking at a tree.

Despite this absentmindedness, he is quite formidable in battle, as he and his team are connected by a peculiar bond. He always remembers to share what he has with others, unless it's very valuable to him. He's overly kind, but can come off as "fake", or "forcing it" to some. He has a huge sense of humor, and enjoys making jokes to lighten moods.

Backstory

He's originally from Kalos, and has a love for travelling and training Pokémon, inspired by his mothers' same love for travelling and training.

When he was a child, he and his mothers were swept into a cult by a strange organization whose leader claimed to be in tune with the Alolan Guardian Deities, also known as the Tapu. While Aegir's mothers knew better, as one was a scientist and the other was very keen on the Tapu, they had some debts to pay because their researching organization had gone bankrupt, and had no choice but to join the cult to earn money.

As their debts grew larger, Aegir's mothers had no choice but to sacrifice Aegir to the cult by allowing him to go into the depths of Pomace Mountain with the cult leader, Kappu, as the escort into a little-known path in the mountain's bamboo forest.

Aegir returned unscathed, and the only difference, it seemed, was that one eye had now turned teal-grey, with a strange diamond pupil, and that his memory had become faulty, so he could no longer remember the events prior to his return.

Fortunately, the sacrifice's payments in return had allowed his mothers' debts to be paid in full, and them and Aegir were able to leave the cult and live a comfortable life.

Meanwhile the leader of the cult, Kappu, had vanished without a trace after Aegir's sacrifice ceremony, and Aegir's mothers have strong suspicions that the sacrifice was not at all related to the Tapu.

(i'm still working on his lore, so this bit is a bit open to interpretation as to what happened when he was sacrificed)
