I scored 99, and then 96 after resetting on the Bug Hatching minigame, but the three eggs still remain fully unknown. Why is that?

(I do have a screen shot, but I don't know how to share those here.)

The high(er) scores only promise you a better pokémon [Scyther instead of Wumple, for example], but it doesn't guarantee you'll see more information.
