A new friend of mine wanted me to join, so here I am! (I also wanted to take a break from writing more serious things) I hope you don't mind that my character isn't really related to Harry Potter. I usually don't join fandom rps, and due to a bit of anxiety of deciding to join one rn, I kind of wanted to keep my oc as is. (She's my true-sona and I didn't really want to mess her up too much)


Character Name: Moonlight Love (Due to how ridiculously poetic her name is, she would rather be called Moon for short or “Moon” in other languages. Yue (Chinese) and Tsuki (Japanese) are ones that she is most often called as.

Gender: Female

Blood Status: Muggle-Born

Hogwarts House: RavenClaw (4th year)

Abilities: (Hoping that you don't mind that I gave her some non-Harry Potter abilities - read above for more info) (Don’t worry, I won’t abuse the abilities. I tried balancing her out using curses to not make her into a literal Goddess. If she's still too overpowered, I kind definitely remove some things. )

Spectral Claim (Possession):
One may believe that the holder has the ability to control another at their own will, but in reality, it is quite similar to telekinesis. Tsuki can “become” an object if she focuses on it, giving her full control of being able to move it around while still being able to control her actual self. Anything that happens to one body will happen to the other, making it a high-risk ability. (Ex: accidentally ripping a “letter” will also cause Tsuki to experience a cut) Due to being two things at once, it can be quite exhausting. (She can sometimes control people with it, but since its often against the rules to control someone’s character, I will probably only use it against npc characters)

Night Night (Sleep Spell):
Any trouble-maker who comes into focus with her cold, fathomless gray eyes will experience a need for rest. The slumbering may also fall within the grasp of endless nightmares until it is their time to wake. Since many people have a habit with staring creepily into her soul, she might accidentally put them to sleep. To prevent this, she often wears an enchanted blindfold that allows her to see perfectly, but pretsens others from making eye contact.

Memories We Once Behold (Nostalgic/Memories): Tsuki can project one's memories like a holographic screen. It feels as if they were once again experiencing that moment. It feels so real until they realize it isn’t.
It is also possible for her to erase part of one’s memories, but she often despises it as she believes that memories are part of one’s identity.

Curses:
Black Cat: The moment she stepped into the world, she was deemed a symbol of unluckiness. Falling bookshelves, disappearing items, anything that seemed supernatural was considered part of her curse. As time ticks by, the curse's effect will have the possibility of becoming fatal.

Frozen Veil: Tsuki was put under a curse that causes her body temperature to nearly always remain below freezing, yet still keeping her alive, just for the pleasure of causing discomfort. No matter how much she wears, or even if she steps into fire, it will always feel as if she were trapped within ice. However, there is a chance that she can accidentally freeze something just by touching it.

Identity:
Unworthy Sin: Your words become your reality, the constant misfortune that was put upon the Love family was to be blamed on Tsuki. Yet they still ought to realize that their words shaped her into a demon. (She can shift her appearance between a human and a demon)

Personality: Despite her cold and emotionless look, she always had a kind heart who was willing to help those in need. She often isolates herself from others due to her past, causing her to not do so well in a day-to-day conversation. Her memory-related ability also makes her quite forgetful.

Back Story:
The family name of “Love” is quite ironic. Being the youngest child, she was often looked down upon for having no future, while her older sister took all the glory. Her personality set her apart even more for being the opposite of everyone else. Anything that negatively impacted the family was always blamed on Tsuki to the point that pain grew onto her. “Magic” was also an “offense” within the family, nothing was to deviate the standard. Due to this belief, she erased the memories of her family to forget that she was an anomaly - at the cost of forgetting her own identity.
