School started today and it was quite overwhelming. PE first period with a bunch of 9th graders, I don't even know why I'm in a lower grade class (I'm the only 10th grader, I think), I didn't even sign up for it. (Nonetheless, I'm gonna fail any type of athletic class, I have like zero stamina) Still incredibly upset that I won't be with my best friend (check previous feed). My Calc teacher also gave us like 100 questions to finish on the first day. I barely know anyone else and being incredibly anti-social is not helping. (I'm terrified of being near other people) I am so cooked.

I spent weeks begging the counselors to fix my messed up school schedule since most of the courses I'm taking are not really sophomore-friendly. They managed to organize it and allowed me to be in a class with my only best friend. Just now, I realized they reorganized my friend's schedule behind my back, causing her to have zero classes with me now. There is no definition of how furious I am. The only thing I could ever wish for in school was to be with her, and now I won't be able to.

I will be lonelier than lonely.

My sister finally went to college. Parents also went with her, so I'm gonna be at home with a guest for a week. Kinda upsetting that I won't be able to see her for half a year, and that my parents won't be with me when school starts. Not really sure how to handle the school workload once it starts, cause I am not ready. (I also do not trust myself to take care of the house for a week TWT)

Wow, I missed so much over the night

For those who are using AI or have used AI, do you know the threat that it can put on artists who spend their own time creating art? If so, please do your best to stop. If you wish to learn to draw, pick up a pencil and let your creativity flow (whenever you have the time). We practically all started from scribbles, to stickmans, to the corner sun, and then to masterpieces. It takes practice. If you're looking for inspiration, use the internet and create a moodboard! Don't just sit there, typing prompts into an AI generator, hoping that you will get something good that will pop up. You won't, the art is all scraped from the hard work of artists (Do you not feel guilty?). I hope this message will change the minds of the ai users, or at least leave a massive mark in your mind. Remember, support the artists, not the scrapers.

To the artists of ph: How long did it take for you to get used to drawing with a stylus and how long to fully master drawing like that? My family is annoyed - or incredibly angry - that I still often draw a sketch on paper before tracing over it digitally (which according to online resources, state that it is normal technique for beginners). They're forcing me to learn how to use a stylus within one to three days and whenever they see me pick up a regular pencil, they start insulting me for not drawing correctly. Is there anything I can do to quickly learn how to actually use a stylus within a couple days (I don't want to miss out on Art Fight) while still maintaining the quality of the piece?

Really don't want to anger Asian parents just because I can't draw correctly TWT

Having a family reunion rn. Currently dying of sickness while my family is happily chatting :D. Each of us had to do something like a speech to the rest of the people. So apparently, my sister and her project group broke my woodshop shelf that I handmade which took 6 months and costed so much. It looks like they threw a hammer at it, there's splinters everywhere. I'm literally crying because that was my favorite and best woodshop project I've ever made. It is also the last woodshop project I made in my life. It brings back so many memories and seeing it lay on the ground with broken legs just hurts. It's like being asked to forget you're best and happiest moments. I don't even know what to do now. It's not possible to fix. Why does every day have to be a bad day for me? I just want to live.

My computer science teacher is literally teaching us how to play Minecraft but the app keeps crashing TAT
