This is a really simple suggestion.
Basically, I feel that sometimes, when I do the fun fair maze, I get lost and confused. So, a solution for this could be some kind of "flare" like a flare gun option. You CAN pay for it if you want to teleport to the start of the maze.

I don't often find myself lost in the maze, but a teleport to get back to the begining would be convenient.
