Hello! Somewhat brief suggestion, basically what the title says.

Here's the main reason I'm suggesting this: every time a dish is finished cooking you get a notification about it, with no way to opt out. This becomes even more annoying if the dishes have a short cook time, barraging you with notifications every few minutes - and if you queued up a list of 7 dishes, that's 7 notifications at a regular interval. And of course, if you prefer cooking in the toolshed regularly, that's even more notifications you'll be piling up which aren't very fun if you keep getting them so often.

Currently, the Cooking Pot notifications are probably more annoying than the daycare notifications in my eyes, and those (along with many others) can be disabled in the option settings, so I feel that toolshed notifications should also be able to be turned off for those that don't want them. Thank you.

I'm neutral but if I were to pick, I would support this. Why? I rarely cook stuff now and I think most other player also don't really cook stuff unless when the item is really needed. But for people who really need to cook stuff for like let's say to lvl up the gardener level via bulletin board, then yes, this will make the notifications less annoying for some people.

I am neutral about this(because I don’t cook much stuff currently), but if I had to choose one I would choose no support
You may be thinking: why?
Cooking is in a similar situation as rumbling:
Sometimes even with the notification you don’t remember to grab the stuff. So without the notification you might have the stuff there for long amounts of time.
(Of course, this is just my opinion.)

But there are like some players like I for example, keeps checking the notifications whenever theres a notification. For me personally, the important notification are usually smth like daycar(bc I need eggz ;b), people's feed(bc I care abt my friend and I wanna know what's up <3), or like what mentioned in the main post , the rumble mission. But some notification like the cooking pot, it's just doesn't really matter to me since it appears for each dishes and my expectation to get the notification I really want to get got destroyed by the cooking pot once I check the notification :/

@KARUbin
Good points! I agree, the part about anticipation makes sense too.

@Espy2015
I understand notifs can be important, especially rumbles. But a toggle like I'm suggesting here won't take away the ability to get notifs, with it you can receive them if you want to, or turn them off if not, so it's the best of both worlds.

Support, I use the cooking regularly. What I'd want is the option to only be notified when all items are done cooking. Like:
No notification
Notify for each item
Notify when all are done
For options
Also in this vein would be Notify when all berries are done growing or all berries are done turning into seeds
