That was impressive.

"Keep at it." Keori said, pulling her bow up her shoulder an inch more. She looked at the boulder but the boy waving at Keori caught her attention. She smiled and walked over to him, looking over at his arrow which was just a slither away from hitting his target straight. He was good. Apart from Four, she hadn't met many people who were good at archery, though this would be different. They were supposed to fight after all. "Hello."

He nodded to his arrow, which had barely missed the mark.

"Oh. Sure." She wasn't really used to this but Keori was happy to help someone else, especially with one of her strengths. She looked at his arrow and pulled it out with a small, sharp tug. "Can you fire another arrow. I'd like to see your form... uhh sorry what's your name?" She handed him back the arrow.

Four watched Keori and Freyr and smiled.

Where he came from, friendships were hard to create.

He took up the arrow and drew it back. It flew into the target, an inch or two from the center. When he did it, he leaned forward rather than back.

Four stood up walked to the targets. He picked up the bow and arrow. He pulled the arrow back and fired.

Bullseye again.

Keori nodded, taking into account Freyr's position. "Stand up a little straighter, but relax your position. Don't be rigid or tight in your stance. Pull the arrow back to your ear and focus your mind on hitting the target. Form it clear in your head and think of nothing but the target. Now shoot."

Freyr nodded and picked up another arrow. Keeping in mind the new instructions, he let go of the arrow and watched it whiz by.

Time seemed to slow down as it approached the target. It hit right at the center of the target.

He let out a sigh of relief and smiled gratefully at Keori.

"Thank you. Mind if I ask your name?"

"The voices tell me I should carry on"

Four tried to completely miss the target. He shot the arrow.

Bullseye again. Four was stunned at this and stared at the target.

Keori smiled as Freyr's arrow hit the target hard, straight in the centre. She nodded, glad that he could improve his skills. To her at least, they were part of survival. "Your accuracy, stance and focus are all balanced. This is what achieves pinpoint accuracy and if you remember everything I told you, you'll hit every target straight on your first arrow."

The green balloon appeared in front of Tobie's eyes, with the rock already in place at the slingshot she released the rubberband and the green balloon popped in the middle section, "Phew, that was close", Tobie said. Then she returned her focus on the right side of the target area and waited to see if the green balloon will come, Tobie saw the red balloon and let it fly away. "Red balloons head up", Tobie said.

"See you later. You'll probably want to finish the rest of your training, unless target practice was your last one." Keori dropped the bow and picked up her own before moving towards the balloons.

She noted that using a bow wouldn't be the best tactic for that training and asked for another opinion. "Tobie, what do you think I should use for this training? I doubt a bow would hit down a green balloon without bringing a red one with it."

Tobie then told Keori, "Aloha Keori, use the slingshot", Tobie said as she regain focus on the right side of the target area to see if the green balloon will come, as soon as the green balloon came Tobie placed the rock on the slingshot and release the rubber band and the green balloon popped, "Okay, back to the left side of the room", Tobie said.

Freyr watched Four and rushed over, pulling out a bandage and gauze as he did. He knelt at Four's side and began wrapping the wound. He looked up at Four and smiled.

"You good buddy?"

Four looked around himself. Darkness. A glowing orb was next to him. His arm was slightly bleeding. He remembered something.

*SNAP*

Four snapped back to life.

He looked at Freyr. "I'm... Okay...."

I know..... I know your truth, Four.

And once you know the exact truth, it'll be too late.

Four stared at this ghostly, floating evil smile in front of himself. Could he...?

"NO!!!! IT'S ISN'T TOO LATE, Y!!! ONE DAY, YOU'LL BE SORRY YOU BETRAYED US!!!!! " Four smacked the smile.

"LEAVE."
*SMACK*
"ME."
*PUNCH*
"ALONE!!!!!!!"
The smile screamed and faded. Four right arm had a now huge cut and was bleeding a strange blue blood. He looked at it.

Ouchies.

Freyr watched carefully and began to bandage up the other wound. His eyes were fixed on the wound, focused. His long golden hair brushed Four's arm just a bit before Freyr raised his head and stood up.

"If you need anything, you can just talk to me."

He smiled.

Four growled. His eyes turned black. "Freyr, cover your ears."

Maybe the screechy would banish the smile from here for a while?
