I personally always have a Crobat. I love my winged purple potato so very much and they always pull through for me. :)

In any game where I can obtain it, Kadabra (often evolved from an Abra). One of my favourite Psychic-type Pokemon, and an absolute legend of a Special Attacker in Generation 1.

Except for in the very first playthrough of a new region, there's usually either a female Sylveon or a male Lopunny named with some sort of offshoot of Cinnamon Bun. And sometimes one or both are on the first playthrough. Sylveon's my favorite Pokemon and Lopunny was my second favorite team member on my Ultra Moon team (first was my starter, Primarina), which is the team I am by far the most attached to, and is the only nicknamed Pokemon on that team.

Always need an Ampharos or Luxray on the team. However, during my one of my recent nuzlockes on scarlet, my Gallade dominated the entire game, so I suppose him as well.

If it is in the game, Breloom is one of my go to team members. I think its a solid fighter and you can't help but love the design.

I always try to use Pokémon that I've never used before, because it makes the game a whole lot more exciting for me personally... But I've had a Sneasel on a few of my teams bc it's my favorite Pokémon, and I also NEVER box my starter.
