However I always try to shiny hunt a mimikyu named mimikins (and in my latest playthrough of scarlet it had the early riser mark)

An update after finishing both LA and Scarlet; Arcanine and Garchomp.

My champion teams (which means teams I used for Volo and Geeta) were H. Arcanine, Gardevoir, H. Zoroark, Garchomp, Electivire and Typhlosion for Volo and Meowscarada, Garganacl, Garchomp, Arcanine, Glaceon and Chien-Pao.

I’ll tell more on the topic of the Electivire, however.
I do remember using a Sylveon for my first Volo attempt and would win if I brought a single revive with me. Giratina Origin was at literal 1 HP and Sylvie was at full. The problem? I forgot to switch moves. So… I only had normal type ones. So… there is that one alpha Electivire that’s a guaranteed spawn on Coronet Higlands and… It may have sparkled. Instead of finding a decent team member, I just flexed to Volo with my new Shalpha. This is the only Electivire I caught on this save file.

I use crobat on every run
Acrobatics + stab + flying gem goes brrrrrr
