Ayran's face instantly blanked out, before it was covered in black
lines. Ayran inwardly cringed before he coughed into his hands, and
straightened his posture up.
With a face of 'I don't know what you are talking about', he
directly ignored what Aria, not for their sake, but for his own.
“But you all must have seen such nice things while traveling!
I’m not that adventurous, so this is new to me” Yawen laughed
nervously.
Kat gave a small nod at Yawen's statement, finally deciding that it
was time to join in with the group. "I haven't been one for much of
that traveling stuff either, there's plenty of gigs for tech right
here in the city." She cleared her throat, and gave what she hoped
was a confident smirk and a jaunty tip of her bowler hat in the
group's direction, trying to mask her discomfort at the growing
group. "Name's Kat. Katrina, Alleykat, forty-two... whatever you
please, as long as we can get the job done." She was only hoping
for an efficient collaboration and a hefty reward, so she could go
home and take a nap, and she had to admit that a large team was
sure to make their daunting task go more smoothly. As Kat spoke,
her drone she had deployed flitted around aimlessly over the
group's heads, almost as if it was bored.
And then her phone buzzed and she just about jumped straight into
the air at the noise, ruining whatever cool facade she was aiming
for. "Geez, where did that come from?" She checked every single one
of her pockets before she managed to pull out her phone. "I bet I
could get into the network and intercept their signal to locate
them..." She immediately began to type away furiously on her phone,
unaware that it would probably be faster just to simply ask the
texter where they were.
Aria Grace never usually read her messages unless it was important
(or her manager), so she left her phone in her pocket. She adjusted
her glasses again and dusted off her dress and coat. "You're all
very kind people. I'm glad I get to work with you."

Ayran ignored the buzz that came from his coat pocket. It wasn't
out of the ordinary that he would receive messages everyday as he
was a merchants.
There would always be some people who would want to schedule a
meeting or wants to ask whether he has this item or not before his
store was opened. Thus he paid it no mind.
“Yawen! It’s nice to meet you” There was so much going on… everyone
else here seemed so accomplished. But They would all work together
to solve the crisis! Then maybe her flower shop could get back
running how it used to be…
”Mysterious… surprising… and law-defying… Isn’t that
right?”
She pulled a flower from the pocket of her coat and held it out to
Yawen. "Can you identify this?" She was just making light
conversation, she was very fascinated with the Foxian, being
another species herself.

“Oh, let me see…” Yawen took the flower, adjusting her glasses to
see it better. “Oh, I do believe that’s an orchid. I quite like
them, they’re said to represent refinement” She quickly handed back
the flower to Aria Grace
”Mysterious… surprising… and law-defying… Isn’t that
right?”
Ayran looked at the flower for a moment, though he wasn't a
specialist, he could atleast tell that the flower was taken in with
care, and specially raised.
Ayran raised his head, and was just about to say something before
he changed his mind, and kept quiet. It would disrupt the flow of
the conversation Ayran scolded himself.
"You certainly know your flowers." She smiled at Yawen and took out
a small pin, pinning it to her top neatly. "There. That's a much
better place for it."

Crispe let out a weak smile "Finally." She lift up her hand,
and her eyes twinkled, as if they were telling Yawen that they
wanted a handshake. Her soft gaze was warm, her blue eyes
shimmering.
Kat hastily shoved her phone back into her pocket after the mystery
texter had been found. Her little coding project had once again
been outperformed by simple manual labor. She continued to listen
along with the group; small talk wasn't exactly her forte. "Do you
think the heat's been frying all the flowers and stuff?" she asked
curiously, seemingly unaware of how morbid she sounded.
She shook her hand softly. “Well, I do run a shop. Besides… Orchids
don’t need that much water, so I’m seeing a lot more of them” She
laughed awkwardly again. “Well, they don’t exactly fry, but less
have been growing. And the ones that survive…” She sighed “Well,
they’re shriveling up nowadays”
”Mysterious… surprising… and law-defying… Isn’t that
right?”
Crispe looked at Kat. She nodded simply and didn't say anything.
"She's kinda smart, despite being a lazy lad like me." she
thought. After some thinking, she finally explained "Flowers and
livings burn because they are too hot. And then they die. I think
we will have to find a way to make this planet colder." Her voice
was sweet and silky, and pleasing to hear. "I've been looking at
the grass and the tides lately."
"I suppose that just gives us more reason to check out the source
of all the problems, am I right?"
Ayran interjected. It was best to get to the point as soon as
possible, cause just incase the others forgot, they were getting
paid to do this, and successfully complete the task.
"The drought must be affecting your business greatly. No wonder you
want to help as much as you can." She smiled sympathetically at
Yawen. "I'll do my best to help as well."

"I've been looking at the grass and the tides lately."
"The tides... I've never seen the ocean," she murmured, trying to
think about how this could help them. If there was a clever
shortcut to be found, she was all for it, and she had the feeling
that this shark girl might think similarly to herself. "Did you
find anything?"
"I suppose that just gives us more reason to check out the
source of all the problems"
"It shouldn't be too hard to pinpoint the source of the heat if we
can measure it," she spoke up in response to Ayran. "See in which
direction the temperature is increasing. As long as we have a way
to not burn or shrivel up on the way, of course."
