Newbury's Academy of the Mystical Arts
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Newbury's Academy of the Mystical ArtsAs Shieta was from a family of fallen nobles, during her family's prime, they had enough money to build a teleporter within their residence that is able to teleport them to any major locations.
But as their downfall happened, Shieta's family had to sell it and rode carriages instead. She remembered the gloomy atmosphere of her family at the time. Every time they rode carriages, Shieta was more focused on making sure she wasn't stepping on any mines around her family, rather than enjoying the outside view.
Shieta shook her head gently, no, that was all in the past. She has more freedom now, more than ever before. Sheita turned her focus of the red-head and properly introduced the teleportation scroll to her.
"...I'm glad. But i'm afraid this is slightly bit different from riding a carriage." On the surface, there wasn't any waves in her expression, as Shieta's voice was calm and gentle, with the usual monotonousness as before. But you could tell from her body language, that Shieta's mood dropped slightly.
Shieta calmly showed the teleportation scroll infront of the redhead, using her index finger to guide the others line of sight on neat, yet unintelligible writing, scribed on the scroll.
"You see, using the unique magnetic field between the earth, time, and space, and then combining mana within it. Magicians are able to formulate a way for everyone to go from one place to the other. But that was a 298 years ago. Now, it is possible to infuse and use the same structure as the formula and apply to this scroll." Shieta paused to take a breath before continuing to ramble.
"Ofcourse inscribing it the scroll is much more time consuming, as you have to make a new one every time you decided to go somewhere new. But it is possible. I have done it, but this is the first time I've done it with another person.." Shieta paused and looked away, her ears slightly tingly.
Perhaps this was Shieta's way of not outrightly saying that Elvira was the first time for alot of things for Shieta.
He hated this feeling, the feeling of being weak, powerless.
He was thrown, roughly into a sort of office.
A well-dressed man in a sharp black suit, with golden hair, sat at a desk, dismissing the butler beside him.
"Is this the kid?"
The man beside Kendo pulled Kendo up by the arm.
"Stand up, brat. Face the boss."
kendo wrenched himself free of the man's grasp, facing the blonde man.
The man laughed.
"Exactly as I was told. Wonderful to meet you, Satou. I'm Arthur."
