Midnight sighed. Despite her opening speech, she was starting to think that this war had no end, and they would never be able to go home. She didn't even know exactly what was going on here, she may be a leader, but still! Now she was stuck trying to think up some strategy, but her brain felt stuck. Stuck. Stuck. The only thing she could think of was to beat the Shadow Bringers to whatever they wanted. But no Light Shiner knew what it/they is/are, where it/they are, how stable and safe it/they is/are... She might as well just tell all the Light Shiners to attack the Shadow Bringers, there was nothing else to go on. Heaving another long sigh, she turned away.

Luna packed up her violin to find food for Grimmy. "Come on Grimmy, let's go find you food eh?"

Grimmy nodded in excitement, flapping his wings and flying after Luna.
Glow looked up at the sky. "Hmm... this forecast calls for some flying." she muttered, admiring the sky. "No butterflies in sight, no place to recharge... well who cares."

She took off into the sky, using 5 of her 11 wing wedges to take off and be at a good level for gliding. She loved to fly, actually most sky kids did.

Midnight fell to the last resort. Trying to make her voice cheerful she held a meeting and announced, "Get ready Light Shiners! From the day after tomorrow, we will increase training, patrols, resource gathering parties, scouting parties, everything! We're going to take the upper hand in this war! For now, rest and prepare, so we're ready to go."

Glow looked around the ground, trying to find a place to recharge her light. To stay in this comfortable gliding level needed strong flaps powered by her light, but it was slowly running out...

"Hm? A lantern? In the middle of nowhere?" Glow muttered, seeing something giving off light.

A scent started to fill a portion of the forest. It was difficult to describe... though it was similar to garlic in a sense, it was not as pungent or as biological. It had more of an artificial smell, alongside leaving a trace of metallic taste in one's mouth. As the scent grew stronger, the plant life around seemed to harden, until only sturdy trees covered the area.
In the middle was some damaged furniture, all of it wooden and either covered in burn marks, soot or holes. The exception being a simple table in the center, which shows remarkable care to it, being a shining brown as it's covered in wood glaze.

Operating on that table was Werner, welding on an unidentifiable device. All one could muster from it was a nozzle, a trigger and some strange rune markings on the sides of it, all the while he was muttering to himself in his native language.

Glow sat in front of the Lantern, watching her cape recharge from the light. "It's like this lantern was placed for me..." she muttered, looking up at the sky. "Man, should've bought recharge speed up potions."

He thought about what Mystal had said “sometimes leader good. Like in pack, gets food. But leader doesnt force Razor to do what he doesnt want to do. A balance”. He stopped in his tracks. “Razor smells something. Not good. Not woods smell”


Bennett, upon hearing the announcement was cheered up. He started to prepare for the next day

"And that... is that." Werner finished, turning off his equipment and noticing a little imperfection in his fuel tank. Muttering something incomprehensible, he put the tank further away and opened the release valve, as the garlic smell now intensified, before he put on a little mask, returning to his new invention, wielding it with two hands and having a strong stance. "Tranquil... and go." He pulled the trigger, shot a strange-looking projectile at the tank and it exploded, first in a regular explosion, before a second more mystic one occurred, in purple flames with a sound similar to low-pitched screams.

Grimmy noticed the strange smell in the air and started getting angry, fire coming out of his mouth.
