In the Kingdom of Laozia
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Pokémon RP → In the Kingdom of LaoziaLuther looked like he wanted to say something, but he kept quiet. Rosie shivered and stepped closer to him. He took a step away from them and turned to Velya. "What kind of Pokémon are you?" he asked.
"Why's everyone arguing?" Rosie interjected. "I don't like it. We should be working together. We're all citizens of Laozia, right?"
Isla shot them a glare. Rosie flinched, but then stared back defiantly.
"Please-" Rosie whimpered. Isla didn't even glance at them, just continued staring at Luna.
"C'mon, kitty," she whispered. "Don't you have anything to say to that?"
"That's enough," Luther cut in. Isla glanced at him and her gaze sharpened. "Stop it, both of you. This isn't helping, we're just wasting time. We need to find the Pokémon who attacked us. Fast. He's going to get away if we continue like this. And we need to work together if we'll find out anything."
Rosie shot him a grateful look and Luther returned it with a nod. "Everyone agreed?"
Isla's eyes narrowed and she shot one last dark look at Luna. But she reluctantly nodded. "Fine. Logical enough. One cat here knows to use his head."
"That cat not being you," Rosie mumbled. Isla shot them a vaguely annoyed, vaguely confused look before shrugging and settling back.
Luther opened his mouth to speak, but Isla said it first. "Hairs. Blood. Anything broken. The location of the murder. Anything out of the ordinary, really. Or anything too ordinary." Her eyes slitted.
Rosie looked confused. "Why that?"
Luther interjected. "Okay, should we split into teams?"
Luther's face was visibly twitching. His tail was lashing behind him, blue eyes flashing with anger. "Are any of you listening to me?"
"That's it!" Luther snarled. Suddenly, he was shouldering his way between the two of them. "That's enough! This is serious! We need to work together, like it or not! Now, both of you, no more words! Just- shut up. Shut- up! This is murder, not a playdate. We're here to solve and avenge the death of a monumental figure in the Kingdom we live in. That's all there is to it. So, do you want to do your job or not?" He stood, defiantly, waiting for either to say something.
