I was feeling down today. So to cheer myself up I decided to buy a welkin and BP. Hopefully I'll win the 50/50 on both Shenhe and Yae. (Or only 1 if I decide to pull only 1)
First ever game purchases. Like ever.

Anyways. Got a viridescent hunt for my Tartaglia. And in like 8 condensed resin later the bow has been maxed. (Seconf weapon I ever 90/90 after my Rosaria's R5 Crescent Pike)

He now has amazing stats. I think. (1.9k attack. 70 crit rate. 135 crit damage. 110 recharge.) Prolly can use a lot of improvement. But he's like my second built character now.

Really glad I pulled for him. I love him a lot.
Also 1/8/8 and 6/8/8 my Baal and Ayaka's talents.

Slowly but surely getting teams built. One day I'll complete the Abyss. Currently only 7 stars on floor 9. Too afraid to try 10.

Also question. Why can we not give Childe 4 peice blizzard Strayer?
You can use Rosaria and like Ganyu/Diona for off-field cryo application while Childe keeps em frozen. He'll get amazing crit stats this way too.
Possible or no?

Good luck on your pulls for Shenhe and/or Yae when they come out!

Childe is my third(fourth?) fully maxed characters in terms of levels. In terms of Talents, however... Qiqi and Kaz have him beat (9/9/9 vs 7/5/4- I plan on fixing that today, though). I run my Childe with a 2-piece HoD and 2-piece SR. I really only use the freeze from Qiqi when I use her skill to heal others, so I can't really help with your question. I mostly use Kaz to pull in most of the enemies into a single area and Childe to get the Riptide effects.

That said, I have heard really good things about having Childe run with BS setup for Prema-Frost teams if you can get your base Crit Damage up high. I've been thinking about it, but I'm not sure if I want to get rid of my almost 50% hydro damage bonus when I use his skill/burst so often. Though... Kaz Pull + Riptide en masse + an additional 40% Crit Rate + high base Crit Rate/Damage seems way too fun a chance to miss. With all the Characters that have off-field Cryo applications, it seems kinda powerful although the team would need to swapped a little for cryo shield breaks. I might run the setup for a little just to see how it works out.

Of course personal mileage depends on the artifact substats, too.

The only reason I can think of why you wouldn't want Childe having BS is because he doesn't benefit from the 2 piece cryo damage setup. But if you want to go for it and have the time for farm artifacts with the stats you want, I don't see a reason why you shouldn't.

anyways, some goofy stuff has happened since my last post !

i got keqing on standard, i tested her out and she is pretty fun but it'll be a while until i even get her half-built.

i did 2 10-pulls on hu-tao's banner to try for sayu and thoma and i got them both ! v happy abt that

worked on some of my characters n started on kinda building lisa and bennett.

v proud of my razor rn, theres definitely things that arent ideal w/ him but hes doing great
2,150 atk, 43% crit rate, 140% crit dmg, 142% energy recharge (which he absolutely does not need that much !!!), and 225 elemental mastery for whatever reason, i just find that one funny. he has snowtombed starsilver for the physical bonus, and he has 64.5% physical bonus . his talents are 8-7-7, and he is c2, i would like more constellations for him so i hope he shows up on a banner soon.

i also got yoimiya to friendship 10 and her namecard is super cute !!

Keqing does seem fun to use. Sadly, she keeps vanishing into thin air when I get close to the 5* wish range. I feel that she, Kaz, and Geo Traveler would make for a very fun world-exploration team if you can get the hang of Keqing's teleport.

Congrats on getting getting both Hu Tao and Thoma, as well as Yoimiya's friendship card!

I've spent the most of my morning trying to scrape up enough crystal to make weapon exp for Amber ;w;
I hate the cap on how much you're able to make a day, so I've been forced to run the Abyss and do Diona's trial c':
Managed to 9-star floors 9 and 10 pretty easily this time, but I've never been able to get enough stars on floor 11 to enter 12-
I love her so much ;u; No buffs, just her, 4-piece wanderers, max'd r1 Amos Bow, plus pyro resonance
With Bennett's burst (talent level 12), her ATK increases by another ~1k ish



Otherwise, not much else has happened recently-

I got a couple more level 10 friendships, so now I have namecards for:
Amber, Ningguang, Razor, Jean, Eula, Noelle, Diona, Barbara, Bennett, Kaeya, and Rosaria
Xiangling, Sucrose, Hu Tao, and Fischl are next in-line ~

I started building Mona, since I have her at C1, and figured I should probably put my collection of 5-stars to use
So she's currently: A5, level 70 / 80, 1-1-2 talents, with my r4 Solar Pearl
I was going to hold off on levelling her anymore bc I wanted to secure some decent artifacts for her
However, all my Noblesse runs, so far, have been either DEF or Bloodstained c':
Was kinda hoping for some Noblesse for Bennett, as I'm currently running him on 2-piece Glad and 2-piece Shimenawa

I'm on track to have 100 pulls by the time Hu Tao's banner ends
As much as I would love to have Albedo, it's taking everything I have to not dump it all on Eula constellations ;w;

Shenhe and Yunjin have been confirmed.
So damn I'm in trouble.

Y'all, life has kicked my butt into the proverbial ditch but I am making bad decisions to play genshin again. I've been saving for an Albedo rerun since he'd be such a great support for main dps Zhongli so i spent all my primos today and got

I'd love to pull for Albedo myself but saving for eventual Ganyu. Maybe next time Albedo...

Aaaaah I was so relieved when I saw I don't need to grind the new wolf boss' mats. This boss was very hard for me, probably because my only built geo char is the Traveler 🙃 If anyone has any tips for this boss I'm more than happy to hear them!

I found that I spent most of my fight against the new wolf boss with Childe trying to snipe from the cover of Noelle's shield and inside of Kokomi's healing radius. I have Kaz as my heavy-hitter with Childe as my go-between, Kokomi/Qiqi for healing depending on what I need element-wise, and then a fourth character to mess with as I want. Usually to help provide a team-buff through a quick skill swap in/out or the anemo buff for extra speed.

Kaz, Noelle, Kokomi, and Childe. It... It may have taken me nearly ~100 Hashbrowns and Apple Stews to get through the boss, not to mention the sheer number of revival foods I had to use.

All this, and I learned something early. Geo Shields didn't seem to help protect anyone. It didn't break, I just kept taking damage inside of it. I don't have any other shield characters (that I'm aware of) and my Yanfei isn't built enough to survive using her burst on the crazy AOE and tornado thing that the wolf does just for the shield.

Mongolian death wurm, anyone? Because that's what the 'flopped over' wolf reminds me of.

Also, "Elemental Reactions, Who?" is hilarious. I tend to do something similar, but Swirl is used since I still have Hydro party members. That healing buff is something I can't just give up. So I guess mine is called "Here's the Wet-Wind Brigade"

I currently use Kaz, Kokomi, Childe and Sayu, but for the longest time it was Sucrose, Anemo Traveler, Barbara and Xingqiu. Let me tell you, accidentally getting a C3 Xingqiu is OP for not having gotten to Old Mondstadt yet. Hadn't even gotten lucky enough to get an early Xingling, either.

When you lack the ability to make supderconduct or electro-charged or any of the other reactions to most enemies, well... you get creative. The most fun I have had was getting a getting the Electro Hypostasis 'stuck' and having Kaz jump and down on it. Next bit of fun confusing the Stonehide pathing and doing something similar with Sucrose and Xingqiu. In both cases, it took forever, but still.

What's the best strategy you've found going against enemies, or do you just go in and wham on them until they're dead?

I'm still figuring out a good strategy since Albedo's new and I'm testing different times when to put down his solar isotoma, but for now I usually go in with ZhongLi's shield before drawing them in with Kazuha's skill. Then I can use Xiao's double skill attack to take care of the grouped up enemies and reposition myself before taking care of the rest with ZhongLi's burst or normal attacks. So far, I think popping Albedo's isotoma and burst right after Kazuha draws the enemies in might be the best bet since I have him on Noblesse Oblige, though I'm open to suggestions.

Who needs reactions when you can just pelt people with rocks :p (goru please come home so i can buff my geo team more)

I’m hoping to pull on Albedo and get him at a low pity, but if I don’t and I loose the 50/50, then it just builds the pity for Itto or guarantees him. I really want Itto and albedo would be nice, but even if I loose the 50/50, I won’t be mad since I still don’t have Mona, Jean, Diluc, Keqing, or Qiqi yet! I want Itto so I can have a DPS that isn’t Pyro (and a 5 star that isn’t Pyro since my 5 stars are Yoimiya and Hutao)

I love her style and design but if she turns out to not be a DPS. Yeah then nope.

Pulling on Eula banner is very very very tempting. But idk. I don't want Eula that much.

Only reason being I don't like claymore users.
I'm at 52 pity rn so I'm not sure if pulling more is worth it. I mean Eula won't be the worst thing. But idk.
