"What do you mean 'what's wrong with me?!' What kind of sick joke -" She gestured up to the broken floorboard. "-Is this supposed to be?!" Demi was about to continue, but she suddenly she was hit by a wave of dizziness, knocking the wind out of her. Great, the fall had probably gotten her a concussion. Rubbing her temples, Demi slowly began limping past the student, hoping to find a way out. She just wanted to go back to her dorm, and maybe the infirmary, if this school even had one.

The sound of the other student's laughter sent shivers down Demi's spine, and her anger quickly gave way to fear. Something was really off about this guy, and now, here she was, stuck in a room with him. Slowly, Demi backed away from the student. Her hands were held up in defense as electric currents swirled around them, ready to be blasted at any moment.

"L-look, just let me go, okay?!" She shouted. "I d-don't wanna make any trouble."

Demi growled, but on the inside, she was terrified. Almost instinctively, she shot a blast of lightning near where the student was standing. Whether she meant to hit him or not, she had no idea.

Despite her fear, Demi remained in her defensive stance. In a split second, she was running towards the hole where the floor board used to be, all while shooting several blasts of electricity towards the student. Maybe, just maybe, she could climb up and out of the hole.

Demi continued sending blasts at the student, not bothering to look and see if she was doing any damage or not. Then, despite the flaring pain in her body, she concentrated almost all the electricity coursing through her into one, huge blast, which she proceeded to fire at the floorboard hole. Debris flew all over, the hole now tripled in size. Demi began running towards it, however the big blast had worn her out, which made it difficult.

Looking behind her, Demi nearly screamed when she saw the student coming at her, especially with the knife clutched in his hand. Running even faster, she made a split-second decision and jumped as high as she could. Somehow, she managed to grab onto the edge of the hole, and began pulling herself through it.

Galardon began sniffing the air before letting out a frenzied roar as he began to rush to were the blood was. It had been ages since he had any fresh meat. It was so unfair that he had to eat raw animals because anything else could upset humans.

On the contrary, Demi screamed in pain as something sliced through her arm. With a burst of adreneline, she managed to throw herself through the hole, falling onto one of the stairs. She rose to her feet and began wobbling up the stairs, opening the basement entrance and practically collapsing through it.

Nera, in her dorm, had put a hand to where the end of her snout was, in attempt to block out the smell of blood, which was somehow just... really strong. She just wanted to go to sleep!
