Does anyone know if it’s easier to find ditto from lab if it doesn’t show type. Or do they all show as normal type if waiting to show type? I’m just asking as I don’t know if it’s easier or not.

The pokémon is determined once the egg is spawned in. Whether we know the type or not has no influence on whether it's a Ditto or not.
