Seraniph dusted themself off, glancing back at the cave they'd just
left. Nothing there, not even diamonds near the lava. That did
annoy them slightly, but they kept their temper. Glancing into
their inventory, Seraniph went to reach for their Elytra and
rockets, before glancing up. What was that sound?
Seraniph glanced around, then loaded two crossbows, and pulled out
a sword. "Who's ther?" The word was incomplete due to the slice on
their face, which hindered their speech greatly.
Seraniph glanced backwards at the cave entrance. "Der's not even
diamonds back der. Whiy would Erebus wan me to go back?" Slowly,
the malformed creature out their sword away and turned fully around
to look at the cave.
The wither appeared behind them, her shiny bones reflecting the
moonlight ‘there is a sword of portal remnants in there, hidden
deep. It is up to you to find it’
Seraniph glanced behind themselves at the either with uncertainty.
Slowly, they put their armor back on and sighed. "Wuz it look
like?" Sifting through their inventory, Seraniph pulled out their
pickaxe and torches again.
She concentrated, and spwaned a hologram of a beautifully crafted
obsidian and portal sword “this” she said, her ethereal voice gone.
“I will follow you, for the boss, the warden, is dangerous”
Seraniph's lip twitched. "Warden is blind. I can get pastit can't
I?" At that, Seraniph brandished their two crossbows. "It'll go
after the arrows if I fire then sneak."
Seraniph sniffed, then followed obediently. They knew how to avoid
the Warden, if they walked slow enough and didn't attack. They also
knew their torch would flicker of the Warden was near, so they
could fire an arrow at a wall to distract it. Plus, if they found
any, an Axolotl could help them kill it if bad went to worse.
Seraniph acted with fluid grace, replacing their pickaxe with a
crossbow and firing at a wall, then crouching down and walking
slowly, holding the flickering torch out in front of them.
