The warden passed by, it’s antlers flickering, and crept towards
the torch, twitching srill, as the wither hovered slowly, and they
arrived at an underground lake, filled with innocent axolotl
Glancing between the Axolotl and the Warden, Seraniph held their
hand out to the lake, allowing the small passive creature to
imprint on them. Placing a torch next to themself, Seraniph fired
another arrow at a wall, then threw a snowball in the same area.
The Warden seemed to sense that, as it turned slowly in the
direction.
Glancing to the Warden as it turned back, Seraniph reached slowly
into their inventory, pulling out two bottles, each one containing
a blue potion. Leaping backwards, the malformed Seraniph splayed
into he water and drank one of the potions, a water breathing
potion, then downed the other one, a night vision potion.
Seraniph peered into the depths of the underground lake, searching
for anything like an aquatic entrance or a secondary cave. Swimming
down to the bottom, they started to push on the stones, searching
for hidden entrances. They keenly remembered that, to enter a
zombie village, you had to punch the right stone to open a door.
Maybe this was similar.
A certain purple-ish stone went in at their touch, and the entire
bottom of the lake went out, and plunged down, into a gigantic
ravine. The innocent little axolotl squeaked in protest as they
fell
In surprise, Seraniph had reached for their sword. Now, however,
they grabbed their Elytra and pulled the wings onto their back.
Then, the empty rockets, just in case a boost was needed. Swooping
down on the wings, Seraniph grabbed the Axolotl in mid-air, then
landed gracefully in the next chamber. Glancing around, Seraniph
looked back up to where the lake had dumped out.
The water had hit a gigantic pool of lava, and turned it to hard
black stone. The giant ravine was chock full of dismonds, and at
the very distance, there was a slight purple glow. The axolotl
group in their arms were chirping, and nibbling at their hands
Blinking, Seraniph glanced into their inventory, then quietly
counted how many diamonds they could see. Reaching into their
inventory, they pulled out a skillet box and placed it, then opened
it and removed attracting table, leather, and spider silk. Quickly,
they crafted a makeshift leather bag, then gently put the Axolotl
collection in it. Glancing into the shulker box, Seraniph counted
the available slots. They wouldn't have enough space for all the
diamonds, but... There would be plenty of space for a few. Or a
lot. shaking themselves from their mind, Seraniph jogged down to
the end of the tunnel, the leather bag on their back.
The axolotl made happy noises, and one traveled up their back, and
perched on their shoulder, chirping and flittering her gills. The
glow got brighter, before the beautiful portal sword teleported in
front of them, glowing beautifuly
Teaching out slowly, Seraniph grabbed the sword and held it aloft.
Looking at it was like looking into he eyes of an Enderman... It
felt wrong, almost, as if the sword were about to appear behind
them and take a swing at their back. Shuddering, Seraniph put the
sword in their inventory and jogged back to the shulker box, then
put the crafting bench back inside. Pulling out their pickaxe,
Seraniph glanced at the Axolotl on their shoulder. "Tell me if
der's something coming up behind me."
The axolotl nodded, and looked behind them, her pretty eyes
shining. There was a second, much bigger warden slowly creeping
along silently. The axolotl didn’t make a noise, and started
jabbing Seraniph’s cheek with her squishy hand
Right as Seraniph was about to swing their pickaxe, they felt a jab
in the cheek. Turning at the Axolotl's signal, they looked over
their shoulder. Then froze, and pulled out the Portal Sword, ready
to attack. Then something occurred to Seraniph. They could just
teleport away! Checking to make sure they had everything they had
brought down, Seraniph willed the sword to teleport them and the
Axolotl collection back to the surface.
The sword hummed, and spoke in their mind ‘Hello owner. Your
wish is my command’ the sword swid, before teleporting
them, the axolotl group, and itself to the surface, right as the
warden tried to snatch at them. The little axolotl smiled widely,
and smooched their cheek with an amphibious mouth
With a sideways glance at the Axolotl, Seraniph glanced at the
sword. "Better get this to Erebus, I s'pose." Holding up the sword,
they said aloud, "Take us to Erebus, the Enderman King."
