The chest at the bottom of the slide that Kanata and his fellow career went down had only about $5 bucks in it. When the money was taken the chest disapeared with a poof.

Eve, who admittedly hadn't gotten much sleep last night, dozed off now that the worst of the adrline and fear had made its way out of the child. A small rusted colored cat trotted from behind one of the nearby slides of the group and rested by Eve's legs, its tail twitcing on occason. It didn't seem intrested in anything else other then Eve, the blue eyes staring at Eve as waiting for the child to wake up.

Shiloh nods in agreement to this. She wouldn't want to risk stepping into the crossfire of Finn's ppwers anyway, and whoever else may be out there. She has no idea that the intruders are Derek and Hailey, two people she would protect without a second thought.

Lilith smiles and shakes her head at Natsume. "I wouldn't think that of you for a second" she jumps in surprise when she feels the raven fly onto her shoulder and perch herself there. The raven turns her head and stares at Natsume. As if he were a puzzle she was trying to figure out. The raven seems unafraid of the two cats around her. Curiously, Lilith steps away from Natsume to give him space, she sits down and holds out her hand, which the raven loyally flies onto. "I wonder... Can I use you scout the area?" Lilith asks the bird. Of course, I can the raven responds. Lilith gasps at this. "What in the Edgar Allan..." She trails off, deciding to not question this. "Hmm, you need a name" but the raven already has one picked out; Call me Freyja. Lilith was surprised by Freyja, she was all business, no talk. Quite similar to herself in normal circumstances. Freyja takes off into the sky, searching around for intruders.

Natsume's cat didn't try and jump after Freyja, but instead yawned and simply curled up on Natsume's shoulder. "Some magician's familiar you ARE." He grumbled, going to poke the cat's snout only for his hand to be batted away. He was left to sulk on his own, sill not liking the idea of allying himself with others. He had already been betrayed once before and the cards promised even more hardship which he understandably wasn't the biggest fan of. His shoulder began to throb again as the morphine began to wear off but he didn't really feel it under the small kneading motions his familiar's paws were making on his shoulder, soothing the pain.

Derek watched the gas swell. He took a single step back, letting it come right up to a few inches from his face. He glanced up as his owl returned. "Well?" There is a cover over the top. I have no idea how thick it is. Assuming he's alone in there, it could just go all the way to the ground... What? Derek was regarding the wall, up and down, with a fierce interest. "Could you dive through the ceiling part of it? Or maybe tunnel under the wall? You are a burrowing owl, right?" The owl ruffled his feathers in annoyance. Am I just cannon fod- His message was cut short by derek stocking his hand into the wall, the owl on it. Oh... Derek pulled his hand out, then said, "You're not exactly real, right? You can dive through. And, you can talk to other people, right? Not just me?" They continued to talk for a while, discussing what they would do. Derek's mechanical pieces in his right hand were now partially visible.



"Just dive thorough the top, and see if he has a camp set up. If he could cover an area in a diluted version of..." He gestured at the wall. "This, I could easily eliminate those lapdogs of Snow's." He sent the owl upwards, then watched it circle a few times, then drive, dropping through the screen of gas. The owl dove right at the middle, accidentally diving directly into the ground at the camp. He'd had his eyes closed... The owl fluttered his wings, then landed and looked around. In his beak, he held a roll of bandages from the medical kit.

Finn was turned around when the bird came in, and because of such a fast entry he didn’t notice. Especially since he didn’t expect anything to come in from the top. But Finn wasn’t the thing the Owl should be worried about. It was the Goliath bird eater, and she had set up her webs through the trees on the ceiling. The Owl might have gotten through, but it was now tangled in her webs. From behind the Owl, the spider was about to pounce.

Marshal had gone to the shop and bought about $20 or so of food. Him and his liger walked away. Marshal had set his bags on top of the Liger while they walked. He was bored, quite frankly.

The owl dropped the bandages, screeching and generally just causing a ruckus. It tried to flap its wings, just tangling itself more. It spoke saw the spider, then tried to speak to it. You are a spirit animal as well, right? So am I! So am I! I bring a gift from medical supplies, as my host is waiting outside the wall of gas! He has a medical kit, if you need it, yes yes! He also bears a weapon as a gift, as he has no use for it! Yes yes! He was frantic, the owl tangling himself more and more in the thick strands of silk.

The spider paused, then crawled towards the Owl again. Those things have no use for me. I’m hungry she declared while getting closer. You’re perfect, I’ll save you for later The spider said while inching ever closer. Finn has heard the screeching, and got up to investigate. It was that spider again! The one that’s been crawling around his camp. He watched as it came closer to the owl.

The owl flailed around, kicking at the bandages and trying to flap its wings. Seeing Finn turn around, it screeched indignantly at him, trying to get him to call off his enormous tarantula. He managed to barely free his wings, then started flapping them, smacking at the tarantula and creeping closer to Finn.

Finn walked over and picked up the spider, moving it away from the Owl. On regular circumstances he wouldn’t have, but this spider had never attacked him, and didn’t try to when he got close either. The spider hissed and retreated into a bush. Finn examined the Owl while helping untangle it. Why are there bandages here? he thought.

The owl relaxed once the spider had disappeared. It let Finn untangle it, then looked around, its head rotating a full one hundred and eighty degrees in each direction. Spotting Shiloh, it writhed free from Finn's grasp, then landed on the small roll of bandages. Picking them up in its beak, the owl hopped over next to Shiloh. Dropping the bandages, it once again landed in Finn's hand.

"It knows me?" Shiloh wonders out loud as she picks up the roll of bandages. "Is this some sort of trick the Gamemakers created?" Shiloh asks Finn, even though this was something that Finn most likely wouldn't be able to answer.

Daedris watched the raven's flight pattern, the ebony wolf somewhat relaxing as he sensed there was no immediate threat. After a nod toward the wolf's direction, Fulminare bid her familiar follow the raven, if not to just cover more ground. Following the fae that swooped above him, Daedris jogged evenly as he matched her pace; keeping his eyes open for chests and the like.

Turning back to the group, Fulminare started to take in more of her surroundings than she had been able to previously. They were definitely in a water-based environment; an amusement park at that. That was good; there would be places that they could hide and set up camp or shelter rather easily. To be honest, Fulminare had initially prepared to be sleeping in a cave, and not in an actual building. She turned her head to regard Lilith, Natsume, and Eve, "We can't stay this much in the open for much longer. Any ideas where we should start setting up a shelter?"

Finn examined the owl, “This is strange. Maybe it’s a spy. Best we crush it” he said while lifting this other hand. He wasn’t really too fond of animals, he only was intrigued for a bit by this owl.

Hearing Finn say that, the owl quickly flitted up his arm, the jumped to Shiloh's shoulder. It made another indignant screech at Finn, The hopped on to the ground. Scratching lines in the dirt with its little talons, it started trying to write something.

Eve woke up and rubbed her eyes, the kitten batted the child's hand in a playful manner, the tail flicking. "Oh. Where'd you come from?" Eve picked the kitten and it responded happy moew. "I think I'll call you Rusty." Rusty meowed at Eve and nuzzled into her hand. Eve looked up at Fulminare and smiled, glad that she was here. "This is kinda a werid place for an arena. Aren't they usually in the wild?"

"Not quite young one, she means that we're tied to you in life." Rusty said with a strech of his legs.

"All of our familiars can talk, from what I heard." Fulminare remarked wryly, "My familier - Daedris, he's a brute you'll meet later - apparently they're very similar to our personalities." Her tone became a little more serious, "I think we've dawdled enough out in the open; we need to start finding shelter."

Eve's eyes flitted around as the group looked for a place to rest, quickly spotting the Big Kahuna Gift shop, Kahuna Cafe, and Pasta Mia in a long bulding that appeared to be large enough to hold them all within safety. "What about over there?" Eve set Rusty down and pointed to the building.

Similar in personality?!" Natsume was agast to learn that apparently, this haughty temperamental cat was a reflection of himself. As if sensing his disbelief, the cat regarded Natsume flatly as they followed Fulminare, Eve and Lilith. "Is it really that hard to believe that you're just a high and mighty Mama's boy who relies on external help to get things done?" The cat sneered, head resting lazily on its paws, tail thumping against his back as Natsume scowled. Great, it was also sassy
