“Point is that I want to cause some ruckus! I don’t think that
idiot did something to the food, so no ones gonna die... They’re
armed and ready to be attacked so it will be pointless to try and
harm them! I’ll need your help Amelia.” She completely ignited her
request to call her Mia, trying to make her angry.
Turata put his fork down as he began to cough. His throat felt like
it was closing up and his entire body grew weak. What in the
world...? He fell to his knees and dropped the plate, holding his
hand up to his neck as he continued to cough. Was the food
poisoned? He tried to call out for help but his voice didn’t
work.
“Oh my, what a shame...” Yoshitiro appeared right in front of
Turata. “The food was no good! The chefs will have to pay for this,
treating our guests like we are at a low-end restaurant...”
Onslaught had wandered the massive structure for a good while, not
finding anybody or anything, unfortunately. Eventually, he found
himself at a set of massive doors. And they made him mad. Very mad.
He gritted his teeth, his hands curling into fists, then drove a
foot into the doors, sending it flying open. The massive man stood
for a moment, twitching a little, then walked into the room, his
fiery eyes searching the room. He froze again, looking around the
dining room. That, too made him mad.
“And... what if I don’t do it? You know very well how I feel
towards killing humans. I would rather have my heart ripped out a
second time than help you. I’m only doing this because I have no
choice!” Amelia said, holding in her annoyance at the name calling.
“Also, he did poison the food. I was the one who was asked to make
sure of that. Poor person who had to suffer.” She sighed.
Laura hissed at the other ghost but let it be when she saw it get
poisoned? She wasn't even sure if it was an act or not. She took
some of the food that didn't require preparation and placed it in
the smaller, front pocket of her bag. Not really sure which food was
which so she acted accordingly to Floyd. She also took another
carving knife in case he needs one, seeing as he threw the other one
to intimidate the ghost, which was surprisingly easy.
It was painfully familiar, scavenging through the piles of food for
small morsels that Floyd could trust are safe. Unspoiled fruits
that he made sure to thoroughly clean, packaged foods that had been
unopened, things that would undoubtedly last them for a while. His
eyes darted towards the door multiple times as if he had been in
this very situation before. Once all his pockets had been filled,
his hat and scarf used to carry more food, Floyd stood up. "Time to
blow this joint, Ja-" Clearing his throat, Floyd grabbed the
carving knife he threw, yanking it out of the wall where it had
been embedded and jerked his head out towards the exit. "Let's
bounce." He corrected, eyeing the extra carving knife Laura had in
her hand. Smart girl, he thought proudly, she knew that protection
was as important as food was.
"Sounds like there was a victim already.Time for my cue i
guess...." Sighing loudly again, Amelia approached the doors to the
dining hall. Opening them, she entered the room, still in her human
form. It was getting tiring to stay in this form, she shouldn't had
spent too much time with Meitso in this form. Silently cursing, she
scanned the room to find any humans only to be met face to face
with Floyd. "Ahh!!" she cried, jumping back in surprise.
Nearly dropping the food that he was holding, Floyd's first
instinct was to bare his teeth, a hiss rising in his throat as he
narrowed bicoloured eyes at the stranger. "As much as I'd love to
stay and chat, unless you want to die I suggest you move." He said
sweetly, not at all matching the venomous expression that tainted
his normally jovial features. Imperceptibly tightening his grip on
the hoard he had amassed, Floyd gripped the carving knife he still
had tightly, readying himself to use it. A quick slash across the
neck would be quick and painless
"Calm down, sheesh. Rude much." Amelia said, grumbling as she
stepped out of the way of Floyd. Her eyes narrowed before lighting
up as an idea came to her mind. Discreetly, she raised her hand,
creating a small gust that whipped some of the food out of Floyd's
hand and carrying it to somewhere else.
"Ghost." He immediately hissed, hackles rising as he stood on
guard. "Bailey! Take cover, we've got company!" He yelled, setting
the food off to the side. In his mind he had already cataloged what
he had lost. Mostly canned food which seriously sucked. Those
always lasted the longest and were the most precious food that
someone desperately trying to survive a death game could want. He
was a fool to use his scarf and hat as vessels to carry more food,
in the end it only left him with less tools to fight with than he
would like to have. He'd make due though as his eyes hardened,
lunging forward to slash at Amelia's neck
Laughing, Amelia quickly avoided the attack before using another
gust of wind to snatch the knife out of his hand. As the knife
landed in her hand, she inspected it before saying, " A blunt
weapon like this won't work against us. You will die. Trust me,
I've been there." A dry chuckle escaped from her lips as she
recalled how the knife she had once used broke easily like twig
when she used it to defend her and her brother. "We are stronger
than you think." with that, she turned back to her spirit form and
disappeared.
Growling at the air, Floyd scowled at the final statement Amelia
made. "Don't you think I should know that by now?" He thought
ruefully. "You okay?" He finally asked, glancing at Laura. He...
He'd done it again hadn't he. Rushed in without think, fists
swinging and blade singing without a second thought. Ah, he thought
he was getting better at not doing that but old habits and inherit
nature's were a pain to change.
Looking around, she realised that she ended up in her old room. In
the process of leaving, she must have accidentally thought of this
place and ended up here. Scanning the place, she let out a sad
smile as she reminisced the times they were here. That was before
the rumours started, before this crazy game... The year she stayed
at this hotel was the same time the first cruel game started. "Oh
well, you can't turn back time.."
"Yeah! I'm fine. Here, you can take mine." She said as she passed
her knife to him. "Sorry I couldn't be much of assistance...At
least I have most of the food on my bag's small pockets.Don't let
her get to you! Come, let's get away before the others arrive..."
She said as she was ready to make a move according to where Floyd
was heading.
"What to do... What to do..." Amelia said pondering, her
mischievous side coming out. "A couple of pranks won't hurt
anyone... Grinning, she floated up through the ceiling, not before
turning invisible, ready to cause some ruckus. The first victims
being Floyd and Laura.
(Anyone mind controlling Yoshitiro and maybe Meitso for a bit? It’s
alright if you guys can’t or don’t want to)
Meitso shrugged and watched as Amelia walked away. “Oh well, it was
worth a try...” she muttered before heading back to the dining
hall. She saw that Yoshitiro was standing right in front of Turata,
and he seemed to be sick. “What the hell did you do to him now ya
trash bag...” she growled at Yoshitiro. “Do whatever you want but
let me do the teasing!” She pouted as she picked up Turata’s
unconscious body and heaved him over to a spare room. “Now go do
your stupid dirty work, you shouldn’t directly interact with the
guests!”
"Ah- nah you hold onto that. Compared to me, Little Blondie's more
suited to a weapon yeah?" Floyd grinned, picking up the food that
hadn't rolled away. He didn't feel like testing his luck by
scouring the floor for the rolled away cans so he simply set off
back to the room where they originally locked themselves in. Or at
least tried to. He really didn't know where everything was in this
weird hotel. After a bit of wandering though, Floyd gave up and
picked a random room again
Laura quickly followed Floyd and sighed. "A'ight, let's catch our
breath since we're here, wherever that is. Please be more
careful, you have really got the ghosts' attention..." She was
really concerned. She wouldn't want to kill a person but she also
wanted to be free. She would have to make a choice when the time
came and she despised that.
Huffing, Floyd began laying out the food that they had acquired.
"It's not my fault that ghosts are picking a fight with me." He
pouted and for a second, it almost looked like he was sulking.
Throwing his scarf back over his neck, Floyd slowly turned his hat
over in his hands, lost in thought for a moment before putting it
on his head proper. "Well, now that we have food, a weapon, and a
safe room, I suggest we get to know each other better! Oooh how
about a game? Twenty questions? Or maybe Truth or Dare?"
"Sounds good to me. Truth or Dare is more like a party game, that
and it requires more than just two. So twenty questions it is! We
could also eat a bit while we're doing those questions. How about
you start since you had the idea?" she chuckled a bit. She tossed
the piece of splintered wood away as she had a knife, which she set
aside since they were probably going to help regarding the food.
Setting out things that needed to be eaten first, Floyd sat down
with a wide toothed grin. "Okay~ I'll go first then. Hmm... what to
ask..." Even though he had been the one to propose the game, Floyd
seemed stuck on a first question before his eyes brightened. "Do
you have any siblings?"
