Miko and Ryssu managed to lock themselves in a room and doze off.
Or, at least, Miko dozed off, Ryssu had simply adjusted her glasses
and stared into space. Really, Miko was lucky she wasn't dead yet,
but they had just been running away from Tenshi, who had begun
chasing them with a knife that Ryssu had wanted to take. It was
pretty dark at the moment, so Ryssu decided to let her live, for
now.
"W-wait,what do you mean? Is there anything in particular that you
wanna know about me?" she blushed. Could he know about that?
Had rumors of her reached his area as well? She felt devastated and
doomed.
Aha, so there was something she was hiding. Maybe about herself? Or
maybe her family, she did like to talk about them a lot... But
speculation and prying would get him no where, he'd actually have
to ask outright. "Your worried about something, so spill it. Its
not good keeping things to yourself." He stated bluntly
"Well...y'know... I want you to stay alive no matter what. I want
you to be the one who gets out of here alive! I have my
reasons.." she crossed her arms, being on the brink of sobbing.
"So,don't pull anything stupid or funny and end up wounding
yourself. Since we can't kill ghosts, you'll just have to be the
only one standing. I'm sure the owner will order to ghosts to
cease, letting you go. He seems for a man of his word...for the
owner of a murderous hotel, that is... I'll do whatever I can to
ensure that you escape. You can't and won't change my mind!"
So that was how it was huh. tch, of course it had to be about this
stupid game and winning. Rubbing the back of his head, he clicked
his tongue in annoyance. "Like I said, I don't have any reason to
go back outside. Keep your mindset, but I'm not changing mine
either. I do things my way and if I die because of them, its not
one's fault but mine." Awkwardly putting an arm around Laura's
shoulders, he ruefully glared at the door, as if daring any ghost
to come after them
She should really tell him at some point. She was afraid that his
reaction would be something like "Wait, you have lost your
virginity and you're only 16? How messed up and perverted are you?
I'm not gonna fight alongside some delinquent." or something
along those lines. She just couldn't risk him going off somewhere
on his own, also leaving Laura alone. Having him placing his arm
around her shoulders didn't make the situation any better for her.
"And there you go again with bottling things up." Floyd sighed,
lightly flicking her head. Sighing, he leaned on her and ruffled
her head. "Don't tell me if you don't want to, but I might throw in
a little secret of mine if you tell me what's on your mind~" He
bartered with a lazy grin.
“Yo...Yoshitoro... Are you alright?” Hesitantly poking her head
into her “boss’s” office after hearing a yell coming from the room.
It was not hard to miss that he was angry, from the aura he was
emitting to the mask on the tabl- Wait... Isn’t that his wife’s
face. Thinking quietly to herself, she sweat dropped as she
realised she made the wrong decision to enter this room. It was too
late now to back away and leave. She is so dead.
“I gave you orders, did I not...” he muttered in a hushed voice,
his head propped on his arm. He was turned away from Amelia, so she
didn’t see his pale face. “While you’re at it... Go ahead and bring
Meitso over here... Kill her if you want, she’s just going to be a
damn nuisance anyways...” he added.
Soon, a timid spirit made its way to where Laura and Floyd were,
intending to hopefully kill them but the look on their face made it
clear that they didn’t want to do this. Throwing caution to the
wind, the spirit raised a piece of sharp glass and attacked.
"Yes, sir..." Quietly backing away, she went to search for the 2
people she was ordered to kill, to only find herself in front of
the room where Meitso was. "Do forgive me my friend.." Taking the
knife she always use to kill, she attacked Meitso, aiming straight
for the heart.
Hearing Amelia, Meitso woke up and blocked the knife with her own.
“You’re too loud and slow... Just tell me what you need and I’ll do
it...” she mumbled, rubbing her eyes as she began to stand up.
"Sorry.. Just feeling tired. What I need, is you dead. Sorry,
orders are orders." In a blink of an eye she lunged at Meitso
again, successfully managing to cut her at the chest area.
Amelia managed to hit her mid-yawn, catching her a bit off guard.
The pain didn’t settle in until a few seconds later. “Be careful...
Too much of this could make you thirst only for blood...” she
mumbled through her gritted teeth. She clutched her side and tried
to fight back the pain but it was no use. “Look, ill let you kill
me when you tell me what it is you really need...”
"..."Amelia stopped. "There is nothing I need, I'm just following
orders here and I was asked to kill you. Also, it's fine, i just
got it, you know the one where i go on a rampage? I'm safe from
going on another one for a few hours. Here." Throwing her a piece
of cloth, she added sighing. "Apply pressure to it, it should stop
the bleeding. I'll get some bandages, I just changed my mind about
following orders."
“I’m fine...” she glanced over at Turata. “Just get some medicine
for him...” she muttered as she sat back down, her vision was
starting to blur while turning red and her legs were too weak to
support her weight. “If he ordered you to target me, he wouldn’t be
too happy to know you disobeyed him, especially after what I
did...” she muttered as she twisted the blade in her shaky
hands.
Another spirit, much more hostile than Amelia, slowly followed
Ryoko around, trying to get the best moment to pounce. Not too much
later, they found the opportunity and lunged at them with a kitchen
knife
"Sigh. You know me, i disobeyed him a couple of times before. Here.
Supporting Meitso, she helped her to the bed before taking off her
shirt, bandaging it up while applying pressure, successfully
stopping the bleeding. "I used to be a nurse you know? His
condition is fine. The poison used is to weaken the consumer. You
on the other hand is suffering from major blood loss as i cut one
of your main blood vessel." With that she finished the bandaging,
handing Meitso a liquid. "Drink it, it helps your bone marrow to
produce more blood cells to replace those you lost." After that,
she attended to Turata, giving him the antidote to the poison.
“Whatever...” she tried to push Amelia way but was unable to do so
due to how weak she was. “And I used to be normal, not a big
deal...” she grumbled as she tried to sit up but the sudden shot of
pain forced her to lay back down. “You had a brother, didn’t you?”
She asked
"Dont you dare move." Glaring at Meitso, she pushed her down on the
bed. "It will just aggavate the wound even more. And yes I had a
brother, i think you saw him before, i was here since the first
game after all."
“Yeah I know... I was here before that, I remember seeing you...”
she muttered, glaring at Amelia angrily as she forced her down.
This was the time in which she wished she was still a spirit...
“Would’ve killed that guy she I had the chance, but miraculously
stopped myself...” she sighed and stared at the ceiling, still
annoyed that her vision was blurry
