Still not knowing who to trust or what was happening, Eagleflight perched on the branch, focusing on the harsh cliff face and moor in his mind, and grooming. The rabbit he'd had earlier had been delicious, and he was in a slightly better mood, though still salty and snappy. He saw the weird horses looking at him, and he glared back with his regal blue eyes.

Summer almost burst out laughing at Eagleflight's attempt to look intimidating.

Ikara stopped when she saw Summer and Aria along with Eagleflight “what are they doing? Aren’t we supposed to either gather food or build the shelter?” She muttered

Eagleflight wanted to tackle the first horse, but learned that she was probably stronger than him... he'd need to get payback another way. He set the thought aside. The other horse had said barrier? Huh, strange. He went back to grooming. He understood the concept of working together, like in a clan, but not with people he'd just met, let alone twolegs, orbs and horses! He'd already fed himself. He wouldn't be a burden, so they could just carry one without him helping or being helped. He wondered more about his wings. Hm... now would be a good time to experiment. Eagleflight looked down at the ground, knowing his reflexes would save him if he fell. He paused a moment, then leaped off the ground. He wings picked up the wind, and he went soaring for the first time, not a bad feeling at all. He loved the wind ruffling through his fur, and the free feeling. Finally, he touched down on his original branch, envigorated, and curious about what other things he could do, and why.

Aria and Summer got back to the campsite and set down the branches they collected. They went back into the forest to collect more branches and maybe spot Eagleflight again.

It crawled through the portal nearby, not one of It's own, and found itself somewhere else. It has experienced this before, but not like this. Once it has consumed most of the candies, it has started to make it's way back to the forest. Instead, it found a different place. It could hear more sounds too.
