Kal leaned against the wall and waited for the Faculty to get him to the healing lady. He thought about Mishi and how she could heal people. “Maybe I could go to one of the kid-“ “No.” They stopped him. “Go to the healing lady.” They carried him to the nurses office. He kept thinking about why they refused, Mishi didn’t seem to have drawbacks to her healing, did she?

Mishi ran around the battlefield, seeing the clock only had close to 45 seconds left. She quickly destroyed some robots and sighed as she stood in the middle of the wreckage. She was sure that she passed, she had to have at least 80

"It's fine. Please. you need it more than I do." Queen murmured, finishing up his field aid. "This isn't the best job, sorry. I think you should see recovery girl for better results but i think for now. you should be okay to continue the test." He didn't seem to hear what the other boy said after, electing that it wasn't any of his business so he really shouldn't pry. Of course, it did sound concerning so Queen steeled himself to talk to the faculty about it later on.

"The Old Ha- I mean, Recovery Girl can't fix what I've got. I'm already guaranteed to pass, so I'll just wait it out." He took the granola bar, and he gave him an awkward nod as a thank you. The unwrapped it and bit some of it, and not until then did he realise how hungry he was.

Meanwhile, somewhere outside U.A, a man was standing at the gates.

The granola bar tasted objectively awful, tasting something similar to squid ink. The granola bar however was quite filling. Smiling, Queen bowed deeply to Arekkusu. "Thank you for allowing me to treat you. Please stay safe, alright?" getting to his feet, Queen waved with a warm smile on his face before jogging off, hoping to see if he could net a few more points. He really really really needed to pass this exam.

He ate the granola bar despite the taste. Arekkusu waved back, not returning the smile - but feeling a little better none the less. He sighed and went back to trying to grow his claw back right.

The strange, cloaked man checked his watch. Any minute.

He heard footsteps nearby and groaned softly. God, he hoped they didn't come this way... he'd been social enough already.

The man checked his watch again. The students would pile out soon. He'd find his new recruit... he'd make sure of it.

Queen rubbed his skin uncomfortably, breathing heavily. He couldn't find any more robots to fight and that meant that his points wouldn't go up! Fear wracked his body as he glanced down at his now exposed arms and torso. The tattoo of the medication was faded beyond use already. The other tattoos on his wrists called to him but Queen wasn't sure what use his dead owl finch could have in a situation like this.
