Trotting after the dog, Kardia wondered if she would be working with those pretty mutts from before. Hopefully not as some were simply to high class for her tastes. That girl who called her an arrogant brat for example, was an odd character. Most would get angry and snap at her for those kinds of remarks but the wolf had kept her cool the entire time

"I usually keep to myself and stay in the corners but I don't mind getting in a fight or two" Arrow repeated his tail movement and occasionally drags it across the wall, Arrow still walked gruffly but his torso and belly being more flexable as the pain of the wounds go away

The mechanicals marched in perfect synch, the hollow sound of metal against the tile resonating off the walls. Eventually, they lead her toward the wolves.

Albafica glanced over to see who it was before turning away. That threw a carefully shaped wrench into his plans. This dog didn't seem very inclined to follow orders, but he'd make it work. He had to.

Lowering her front half so that it was almost touching the ground, Kardia sneered as she saw those from earlier. "Pleasure to be working with you all." She introduced staying back. From her experiences, wolves didn't like any other dog than themselves and Kardia was fine with that. They could stay up on their throne for all she cared

She smiled this dog was much more arrogant then the rest much more cocky
She was amused by it

She said as she got up limping she saw the wolves and kardia walk outside to meet up for the mission she sighed and started walking back to the cage room

Shizuka still curious about this wolfhound she watched as both of the canines were talking the German Shepard seemed to be hurt from the fight

"Oh quite well your highness. Not that you'd know but I had a lot of fun during training. I can still hear their bones breaking, a delightful sound really." She sighed wistfully, skin prickling with the urge to be scratched. The tightness in her chest curiously didn't go away but it was no cause for any major concern.

It was a shame that such a beautiful creature was part of the elite with comments that always rubbed Kardia's fur the wrong way. But as humans say, light does travel faster than sound

The artificial light above gave their fur almost ethereal glow but at the same time, highlighted the mechanical movements of their body. Jack, on one hand, fitted right in with the world around them but it all looked like a picture frame hung not-quite-right.

They were closer now, they knew. The tiles beneath them were scratched up by canines who fought till their last breath to not have to walk the path Jackalope takes every other day. "In case they decide to keep me there once and for all, I would prefer to vanish with my curiosity satisfied, you see? You don't have to answer, but I was wondering, what happened to the unlucky leg of yours?"

Kapo just couldn’t handle it anymore. He liked this wolf! He needed to tell her, but now wasn’t the time. He tried to contain himself, but it was like keeping a bomb from exploding. He had to say something at least. “Hey uh... Skip... Can I call you Skip? You did some cool fighting. The way you handled it was really... unique.”

Skip didn’t expect him to say anything about how she fought. She could clearly tell that he liked her, which was weird since her pack was strangely all girls. How did the men disappear? She didn’t know. “Um... Yes you can and thanks I guess?” Why did he like her?

Bella made it to the cage room she stayed in and started cleaning her wounds again she sighed and laid down

Shizuka glared at all of the group members as she walked with the robotic dog to the gate

While it wasn't the worst thing to be sent out to do, Albafica nodded. The faster they finished the easier it would be. With that in mind, Albafica tried back slightly to observe the members of the group. He had worked with a few of them but some would require extra planning in case.

Walking calmly as to not betray her immense excitement at this, Kardia stayed a small ways back from Shizuka. While she was battle hungry and confident in her battle skills, She wasn't enough of a fool to completely disregard the dangerous feeling she had around the dog

When he learned that he would be working with, the black alpha let out a low rumble of displeasure. Too eager to please and a battle hungry brute, they reminded him of a snake. Not helpful, and he had a bad feeling she might cause them to fail the mission. Soron didn't spare any words until they were outside the gate. To the outside, his grey eyes simply betrayed nothing but cold calculation, but inwardly, he was deeply troubled. He hoped for all their sakes that nobody would step out of line; the alpha knew that any blood he would spill would be on his fur forever.

He looked at Shizuka, without emotion. He’d known the borzoi for some time now, and had worked with her on many occasions as her trainer and colleague.

To be quick and quiet was the key to scavenging. Keep yourself low to the ground, and always have an eye on your food. Get in and get out. No loitering, unless you want to become like them. These were all rules that Arisu had taught himself from his days on the streets, as he’d seen countless dogs being taken away to that hellish cage of a place. They called it the Organization, even though there wasn’t anything exactly official about it. Staying hidden was simple, or so it seemed. Arisu’s heart clenched as he thought back to what it was like playing with Yap and Mora, his two siblings. He hadn’t the faintest idea what had happened to them...or what had happened to mother. He snuck around the large crowd of humans, keeping his head bowed as he tried to keep himself from being noticed.

As they entered, Jackalopses eyes immediately went to an older-looking mechanic with a long ponytail, who jerked his head upwards in a universal sign of 'come here' upon seeing them.

"You have secrets, Arrow, and that's okay... But I hope you tell someone one day, so they won't claim the rest of your body. I wish the next time we meet, it will be on a better day- maybe I could be your white knight some other time."

It was a blind-and-you-miss sort of thing, but they threw Arrow a small smile, only meant for him to see as they separated, heading for the mechanic standing next to a raised surgical table.
Jack raised themselves on their hind legs to reach the table and hoisted themselves up. Some technician let out a series of illegible, dumbfounded sounds at the display but Jack paid no mind to them, only closely watching their mechanic as they got to work.

Skip didn’t want to go on the mission, she didn’t like what the organization was doing. In that moment she finally knew what Lila meant. “Please, Go on the missions the organization gives you...” Her words echoed in her head. How did she know about them? How did she know she would end up here?” Come to think of it, she went on a mission and didn’t come back the same. She kept “malfunctioning” or something. Was her brain altered by the organization? She was so focused on the questions, she forgot to keep walking, luckily Kapo told her to keep going.

Kapo noticed that Skip had stopped walking. “Hey, keep going! Don’t want to get in trouble” he whispered.
