Releasing her wrist, Iola staggered back a few steps. "Ugh... This
is what I get for slacking..." He mumbled, wincing. He was at a
disadvantage with his broken guard and Bridgette still maintaining
hers. Sliding back into a half guard, Iola prepared to backflip
away from danger at the slightest indication of aggression
Brigette lifted her left leg, feinting a kick. As Iola
involuntarily stiffened for a fraction of a second to brace for the
kick, she instreadmoved her leg backwards, while leaping forward
using her right leg and delivering a flying punch to the chin.
(It's called a Superman punch, in the real world, if you want to
see how that works)
Using his guard to mostly stave off any nasty follow up attacks,
Iola stumbled back vision swimming. He knew he was going to lose,
but he would make it easy. Regaining his footing, Iola ducked in
close to Bridgette he punched twice at her face before kicking out
with his leading foot, forcing Bridgette back. A spark of pain in
his thigh told him he probably pulled something
Brigette stumbled back, but even so noticed the pained expression
that appeared on Iola's face for a split second. "Hey, you
alright?"
She kept her guard up, but didn't want to fight him if he was in
pain.
Grimacing, Iola nodded. "Didn't stretch before this." He replied,
settling back into an easy stance. The pain was minimal but even
so, he was touched by Bridgette's thoughtfulness. "Thanks for
asking."
“C’mon Iola, Do your best!” Leaf cheered from the sidelines. He
didn’t mind his house taking second place but he wanted his friend
to do his best at least.”
Rue remains quiet, knowing she will have to help heal up whichever
has more damage

that. You've come down upon this battlefield... as an Angel of
Death" ~Bungo Stray Dogs
"you were too correct"
Flushing under the unexpected encouragement, Iola flashed a small
smile and faced Bridgette determination set. "So, what do you say
we end this quickly?" He challenged prepared to get soundly beaten.
"Very well, let's do this!" Brigette closed the distance, using
quick jabs to try and suppress his counterattacks and end this
quickly, so as not to suffer too much damage before her fight with
Marcus.
Moving backwards, Iola stayed on the defensive before an
opportunity opened up. Taking a few jabs to the face, Iola threw
himself backwards onto his hands using his momentum to kick
Bridgette's chin. The move ended a bit awkwardly with Iola
stumbling with the landing but at least he got one good hit in
Brigette stumbled back one step, but was immediately on the
offensive again, sweeping Iola's leg and stomping his shoulder once
he was to the ground, trying to convince him to give up.
Bitting back a noise of pain, Iola grabbed Bridgette's foot and
twisted it in and odd angle to hopefully alleviate the pressure. If
she wanted him to give up, it would take a little more than that to
archive that.
(Brigette and Iola are fighting hand to hand, with Brigette having
the advantage as of now)
Brigette grabbed one of Iola's arms, wrapping it in her legs, and
fell backwards, extending it a little over the elbow's usual
articular(?) limitation.
Feeling his elbow snap and his shoulder soon following, Iola let
out a shout of pain and fell down. Landing on the ground dazed,
adrenaline prevented him from feeling the worst of the pain but
even he could recognize when he had lost. "My loss." He groaned,
tapping Bridgette's head gently with his other hand.
As soon as Iola shouted, Brigette released him, helping him up.
"I'm sorry, I went too far..." she whispered, a guilty look on her
face. She then healed him a little, but since she had focused on
Reason and brawling in the last few days, she couldn't really help
much.
