(Marcus would not have Vantage yet. Everyone starts out as a Noble/Commoner, and you get Vantage via the Mercenary class, which is an intermediate class)

When Brigette attacked, Clarisse had circled around the two distracted Blue Lions. Clarisse attacked Leaf from behind as soon as Iola had entered the small wooded area.

Meanwhile, Brigette followed Iola, not trying too hard to hide her presence.

Leaf was only just able to react by using Tempest Lance as a combat art, able to fend off Clarisse. “Heh, it’s just you and me...!”

"Exactly!" Clarisse was beaming, as usual. She actually stepped towards Leaf's Tempest Lance, resulting in a liltte less power discharging onto her. She still ended up blown away, but managed to stay on her feet. "You're stronger than you look..." she muttered, still smiling. Clarisse then dashed forward, closing the distnace enough that Leaf would have problems using his lance.

(Also, saying this just because I'm still in hype, I just finished Azure Moon.)

Again, Clarisse leaned forward, so that the ice explosion hit Leaf as well as her. Powering through the pain and backwards force, Clarisse grabbed Leaf's shoulders and hit him with a jumping knee to the chest, before recovering her axe.

He was knocked back but he neatly transitions into a handspring and landed straight before using Blizzard again

Clarisse jumped to avoid the ice crystals, using the bigger ones as stepping stones to propel herself towards her opponent. As soon as she was in range, she unleashed a flying slash.

As soon as she noticed the now familiar semi-transparent glow around her, Clarisse stopped, and breathed in deeply.
She then dashed again towards Leaf, extending into a leaping jump.
