(ah I see X3 sounds like fun. I'm looking forward to those comics.
(anyways hope your creative slump goes away from Mira and Colin soon. Cause I came up with an idea for the 1x1 rp we're in for whenever we continue it. Basically my idea is that Tiger will be nearly brainwashed again and will be talking in Pokémon for a long while. Other ideas also just keep popping in and out of my mind.)

Cyndaquil grunted as he jumped to the ground. He looked up to the others and sniffed the air. "I don't think she's here. I lost the scent."

"And it's the ragtag little group who plays hero." Frost said lowly and nodded to his Blastoise.

"Where's Mira?" Tiger asked with a snarl.

"That is non of your business, Zombie." Frost said lowly. "Again Houndoom might've failed the last time. But this time you won't win." He growled. Charm flew in and used a dragon claw on the Blastoise.

[I know, I miss rping with you guys too sjhdakdk,, I would totally do a rp with different characters, except Rome and Trieste aren’t completely human lmao

Aaa that’s what that was about?? I was?? So confused tbh

Honestly whenever I try and come up with new characters my mind immeditaly goes back to real characters and then I cry over them tOM—]

“This person sounds dangerous. Why are they so focused on Tiger? I mean, why so focused on what happened in Kalos? Wasn’t that a few years ago or something? Hmm,” Connor tapped his chin thoughtfully. “Okay. Sorry to bother you guys, you can go if you want. We can be backup or something, right, Mel?”

Unfortunately for him, Mel and Riu just huffed and turned sharply away from each other, Riu de-mega evolving as they did so.

“.. I’ll be backup.” He corrected with a scowl. “Unless you want more help.”

[sorry about the confusion the story is based on the first idea on this list. I was playing around with the idea and didn't want to have the thing who destroyed Johto being an evil team. Instead it's one trainer. I'll send you the information on the trainer in a bit.]

[Honestly same, I have a few older characters I don't use, Oliver, Bear. Rain, and Isabel being a few unused characters I had. I made Isabel Snow's mom and working on her story.]

"I don't know the answer to that one Connor." Snow said with a sigh. "And yeah you can join us, the more help the better." He said kindly.

Lion glanced at Mel. "What's with them? Weren't they as close as Tiger and Cyndaquil?" He asked Connor curiously.

[Sorry I've been dead. Like Lucky, I've been in a creative stump with a lot of my characters. I guess I need to try and be a bit more alive. ^^;]

"Dang." Rose mumbled as she hopped down and landed beside Cyndaquil. On habit she looked around herself for any threats.

"Thank you." JJ had quickly responded before nodding at Mun-Mun. They might not be as strong as the others but they were willing go fight. "Mun psywave."

Robert was standing close to JJ as he had Pose using poison fang on a couple of grunts Pokemon.

Jamie was standing next to Leaf, watching as he quickly used his vines to knock back enemies. They both dodged a bit of an Electrode's, who had that snuck up behind them, self destruct.

[it's alright. I might work on this story that I'm mentioning sooner than later as I find myself going back to this plot. I'll finish the newest chapter of Journey of a Lifetime before I make the prologue to the new one.]

Cyndaquil glanced at Rose for a moment and offered her a small smile. He sighed, "we'll find her again. I'm su-" He was cut off when a houndour tackled him and knocked him to the side.

Tiger looked at JJ and Robert for a moment before glancing at Frost once more. "Tell us where Mira is." He said lowly. Charm growled and shook a water gun off.

"She's not here." Frost said simply and narrowed his eyes. "Aren't you supposed to be worried about Johto? I hear the Ice Path had been destroyed completely. Mount Silver and Whirl Islands are next you know." He taunted as Tiger showed some anger and concern for his home region.

“Yeah. Were.” Connor grimaced. “They keep giving me different sides to their story and I don’t know who to believe, so I’m just not going to get involved. I guess it had something to do with the creation trio. Dunno. Maybe?” He spread his arms helplessly before dropping them to his sides. “I’ll go with you.”

“I’ll stay here.” Mel stuck out her tongue and Riu kicked her. “Ow!— We’ll Stay here. As backup. Call us if you need help.”

Connor rolled his eyes and shook his head.

Snow nodded slowly and glanced at Lion. "Sounds complicated, hope they work it out soon. Cause trainer and pokemon can't win battles if they're always at each other's throats." Lion said simply. He was quoting something Tiger might say. Lion then continued down the hall.

"Either way we have to find out what happened to Mira." Snow said with a sigh and nodded to Connor. "Anyway, it's nice to see you again, Condor. Other than Mel and Riu wanting to kill each other how've you been?" He said in a partial joking tone.

“I think they’ll get over it eventually. All siblings fight.” Connor mused. He tilted his hand back to look at Snow with a grin. “Pretty good, apart from them. I can drive now.”

”He hit a tree.”

“The tree hit me, Pom! You were there!” He protested, eyes wide before turning back to Snow and Lion. “Yeah, I haven’t really had the chance to talk to either of you! How’ve you been?”

"Congrats on learning to drive and hitting a tree." Snow laughed in amusement and smiled. He stretched and looked thoughtful. "Well. I met my mom, found out my real name, and was named one of the best recruits the academy has." Snow reported politely and tucked his hands into his pockets.

Lion walked on in silence as he wasn't really much to enter a conversation when he wasn't sure what to say. He rolled Blast's pokeball in his hands as he walked.

Rose started a bit before growling and running into the side of the houndour that had tackled Cyndaquil.

Robert glanced over at Tiger and Frost with a small frown. Was something going on in Johto as well? He thought to himself before shaking his head. That was a thought for later. He turned back to the fighting at hand and quickly pulled JJ out of the way of a incoming Poochyena.

Jamie got back onto his feet with a small hiss a minute or two after the self destruct. "You good Leaf?"

"I'll live. Tickled more than anything." Leaf commented as he also got back on his feet.

The Houndour was knocked off of him and Cyndaquil shook his fur out. He glanced at Rose and nodded a thanks before using an aerial ace on a couple of Rattata. "We have to find some clue to where Mira might be. Then we can go." He said quickly and stood close to Rose. The Houndour growled and bared his fangs as he ran in to use a bite. "Rose watch out!" Cyndaquil squeaked in shock as the Houndour was running at Rose. He tried to intervene and block the bite.

Tiger glanced at Robert for a moment before turning to Frost. "Johto is only in trouble because I'm trying to keep Kanto safe." He said lowly.

"You aren't Kanto's guardian though Tiger." Frost retorted quietly sounding more, fatherly, less like two enemies fighting.

Tiger closed his mouth as if he were biting back a retort. He growled and nodded to Charm who knocked a few Raticate who were fighting near the Poochyena. Johto will fall if Kanto falls and vice versa. I have to keep Kanto safe. Not only for Mira's sake but for Johto's too. Problem is, I can't guard both regions. It's only tiring me out as well as Lugia, Ho-Oh, and the legendary beasts...

Rose reacted more on instinct than rational thought as she meet the bite with one of her own. She winced at the sharp pain that came from teeth puncturing skin.

Robert nodded a thank you at Charm as he switched a unconscious Pose with Quill.

The Houndour growled as Rose's bite took some damage. He went in to counter when Cyndaquil snarled and used an aerial ace knocking the dog Pokémon away from Rose. "Rose, are you alright?" He asked in concern and ran over to Rose's side.

Charm nodded and glanced at Tiger and Frost for a moment. "Tiger, I don't think Mira's here." Charm said quietly.

Tiger glanced at Charm and nodded reluctantly. "You might be right." He mumbled quietly.

"Yeah. Sorry about that." Rose mumbled referring to her own attack as she gently tested the pain in her shoulder. Walkable for sure and runable as needed. She thought to herself with a small nod.

JJ caught Mun-Mun as she fainted. "Good job Mun. You did great." She whispered.

"It's alright. So long as you're okay." Cyndaquil said in a relieved tone and gently sniffed at Rose's wound for a moment. "We'll go find the others. I'm sure Tiger or Jamie can help with that." He said reassuringly and smiled at her. He hadn't noticed that he had a cut on his shoulder as when he did the aerial ace to knock the Houndour away, the Houndour had hit him with a crunch.

Tiger glanced over to JJ and handed her a revive before blinking when Charm was hit by a hyper fang and fainted. He recalled his Charizard and grabbed Cotton's pokeball. "Give up Tiger." Frost said lowly.

"Yeah. Looks like we are matching." Rose said pointing to Cyndaquil's shoulder.

"Thank you." JJ said and quickly used it on Mun-Mun.

"Tiger I hate to say this but a retreat might be in the books." Robert said quietly to Tiger, unknowingly rephrasing what Frost said. He quickly had Quill knock away a few grunts.

Cyndaquil laughed in amusement and nodded. "Guess we are." He said softly and smiled at Rose. "Guess I got carried away with that fight. We should get back, Mira isn't here." He said quietly.

Tiger glanced at Robert for a moment and looked like he was going to refuse, he soon flinched and rubbed the left side of his neck. *Yeah you're right, Robert. We have to go." He said dully and put Cotton's pokeball away.

Robert frowned and pulled JJ behind him as he slowly started to move backwards towards the entrance so that way he could make sure nothing attacked from behind.

Green eyes went wide. “No way. You met your mom..? What’s she like? And you were one of the best recruits? That’s really cool, Snow!” Connor flashed Snow a small grin.

”.. We can’t keep doing this.”

“I know.”

Riu was sitting on the floor, arms crossed as he listened to his trainer pace restlessly. ”So why don’t we talk, then?”

Mel shrugged, sitting down next to him, tucking her hands into her pockets. “Talk about what?”

”Y’know, I’ve realized,” Riu steeled his voice slightly, avoiding the cracks as best he could. ”I was never meant to fight on my own.”

She turned to him, eyes wide. “What do you mean?”

”I mean, I probably wasn’t supposed to make it this far anyway. Maybe it’s time I stopped battling altogether.” The Lucario’s voice wavered a bit as he spoke, gripping his arms tightly. ”Dew and Aki are stronger than me anyway. And they’re also not blind, which is a bonus.”

“W-“

”You know I’m right. We can’t even hold mega evolution together. Besides, I’m better equipped to fight ranged battles. I can’t do close quarters anymore.”

Mel was quiet for a moment, curling and uncurling her fists. “Yeah, but,—“

Riu covered his ears and turned away, tuning out her voice.

The problem was that he was right and she knew it just as well as he did.

“.. We really weren’t ready to be parents, were we?” Mel’s voice was hollow and he flicked his ears in her general direction to listen to her again. “Seriously. Adopting Dew was a mistake.”

”Dew is like seven years older than me..?”

And everything started to fall back into place.

"Probable. I haven't seen or heard anything that might lead to someone being hurt." Cyndaquil replied to Rose kindly and sniffed the air.

Tiger glanced over his shoulder and called Cotton out. "Cotton I need you to use a thunder wave." He ordered in pokemon so Frost wouldn't stop him. Cotton nodded and used a thunder wave paralyzing Frost.

Snow returned the smile and looked at the ceiling. "She's pretty kind. A bit taller than Frost, which means I'm gonna be taller than Tiger." He chuckled in amusement.

Lion stopped listening to the conversation, he noticed an old looking journal sitting on a table and grabbed it.
