Colin glanced over to Snow before looking back at Lum. "Regardless
of whatever machine they may be using, they're still Rocket, and
Rocket still has more flaws than any evil team ever. They work off
of spite. That's how you get under their skin. That's how it's been
and that's how it will be forever."
Or fights. Fights work too. I needed a distraction tumblr was
getting a lil too real for a Monday morning hmm]
“Ehhh, Skull has a lot of flaws,” Mel mused, though it was mostly
to herself (as per the usual nowadays). “Has. Had? Ack. Forget it.”
Her eyes had long since lost their usual spark, but that was okay.
She would just have to find a new one. “Never met Rocket. They
sound nice. Wonder if I could buy some of their boots. They look
cool.”
“Stop.” Connor said sullenly from his spot slightly behind her.
Colin blinked slightly. "Well I guess we'll have to see then," He
mumbled, following and jogging slightly. "The boots are the one thing I miss about the
Rocket uniform. I will not lie."
(Alright then this will happen X3. [Might have Cyndaquil get
pokenapped before the final fight and given the device. Mainly
since I'm curious to see how Cyndaquil would be as a
Typhlosion.]
Tiger raised an eyebrow on response to Mel. "Uh, Mel we've fought
Rocket before." He said quietly and rubbed the back of his
neck.
"Those boots were uncomfortable." Snow said dully and sighed. "Yeah
we'll see."
"They were flashy. I've always had a soft spot for flashy stuff
like that," Colin shrugged. "But... No. Everything else was awful.
...Yeah, you guys fought Rocket before. Kalos."
“Ah, that one. I remember that one. That was fun.” Mel said,
tucking her hands into her pockets. ”Listen, I’ve always found the shoes of all the
teams to be fascinating. I’m gonna start a collection someday.
Maybe in a few years when I’m not broke.”
And I’m not going to stab you if you turn around so relax
please— But that part stayed tucked deep in the back of her
mind because who could blame them? (Not that she was capable of
doing it; A wet Litten could cause more damage than her, even on
her best days. Which was not today. Or ever. Maybe she should
actually get twelve hours of sleep sometime.)
"Don't remind me. Kalos wasn't my favorite time in life." Snow
grumbled and shook his head quietly. "Anyway, should we split up
and search around." He said curiously and glanced at Mel. "Dude you
can have my old boots if you want to make a collection."
"I did get a charm bracelet out of Christmas, though," Colin
mumbled, fiddling with the pokeball charm on the bracelet, but
stopped soon after talking about it. "Anyway."
"Robert and I have our old Galactic uniforms, Mel. If you want I
can wash the shoes and have them shipped to you. Just don't be surprised if the Charizard carrying
them runs into something. Bip and Dip have bad landing aim."
Jamie mused muttering the last part and causing Robert to
snort.
Rose waved at Cyndaquil and flashed him a soft smile before
answering whatever question JJ had sent her way.
Mel grinned. “I’ll take both, if neither of you guys mind.” She
said cheerfully, tucking her hands into her pockets as she spoke.
“Hmm.. I could probably clean out Mia’s old room anyway. Perfect.”
(alright Sylph and Toma. I'll recap you both if you miss a bit of
the RP.)
"I don't mind, anything to get rid of those boots anyway." Snow
said with a shrug and stopped outside the game center. He frowned
and sighed. "Do we hav-"
"Yes, Snow, we have to go in there. Come on." Lion said with a sigh
while Tiger pat Snow's shoulder.
"Don't worry it'll be fine. If the base is still abandoned then
it'll be an easy job." Tiger said quietly and looked at his
pokegear for a moment. He frowned a if he had read something and
shoved the pokegear back into his pocket.
Cyndaquil glanced at Tiger for a moment before yawning and going
over to Rose and JJ.
Colin glanced over suspiciously to Tiger and sighed. "You know what to do if I freak out," He
whispered to Lum, who inched over to Colin's ear. He smiled and
went towards the game center. "I have the benefit of the doubt and
I suggest that you all have it, too."
Jamie nodded at what Mel said. "It's no problem here."
JJ looked around at the others and quietly let Mun-Mun out. "We
are going somewhere dangerous aren't we?" She quietly asked
Cyndaquil as Mun-Mun landed on her head and glanced back and forth.
Rose was also on alert just in case.
Tiger noticed the suspicious look from Colin. He sighed and went
ahead. If I don't help Kanto...then... He shook his head
clear. Ho-Oh will habe mu guardian ribbon after this. He
thought bitterly. What he read on his pokegear was that ice path
had been melted completely and the ice pokemon evacuated to Mount
Silver.
Cyndaquil looked at JJ and offered her a smile. "We are. But
I'll stick near you and help you if wr run into trouble. After all,
all the pokemon here are strong..." He said softly.
Colin tapped his fingers on his leg. He subconsciously mumbled a
lyric to a song, nearly inaudibly: "When the dragons grow too
mighty to slay with pen or sword, I grow weary of the battle and
the storm I walk towards..."
"It's nice to know you think so highly of us, Cyndaquil,"
Lum called, turning around slightly on Colin's shoulder.
Tiger walked into the garage!e corner and adjusted his cap. He
looked at a scuff on the ground and a dent in the wall from the
fight between Saffron and Celadon City that took place all those
years ago. He mumbled something and headed for the poster.
"I'm serious though, I've seen you all fight in some strong
battles. I'm certain that everyone here is strong. Not just the
Pokemon." Cyndaquil said with a smile to Lum.
