Andromeda gave Kat a look and asked,” is this yours?”. She watched the cub scamper around the den with concern.

"Of course not...he's a lion, and I'm a tiger...unless he's a liger I got nothing" he joked the last part silently, and looked at the cub.

Andromeda chuckled, “I was half kidding...”, she said. She stepped forward towards the cub. “Yukio, is it? Do you live here?”, she asked the lion cub.

"Yes I do" he said with a kind nod. "I was living here with mama, but she hasn't returned for a few days" he added the last part sadly, and looked at his paws.

Kat nodded, and went over to Yukio "We understand...some of us lost our family too" he said sympathetically.

Andromeda’s ears dropped, as she looked around the den. She could smell no fresh signs of food. ” Yukio, are you hungry?”, Andromeda asked softly.

Yukio nodded, and Kat looked over his shoulder. "I'll go find something for him" Kat said kindly, and went back into the snow.

Andromeda watched Kat leave, then turned to inspect Yukio. She sniffed over him, feeling how skinny the cub was. “ Sorry, I didn’t introduce myself. My name is Andromeda,” she said, sitting down in the den. ” There are others here too,” she added, listening to Kanti and Lucia’s voices outside.

Yukio nodded, and looked around "can we meet them?" he asked cheerfully.

Kat walked away from the rocks, and looked around. He parted his jaws in an attempt to catch the scent of something he could bring to Yukio.

Lucia grinned evilly but leapt down as well, scampering towards Andromeda and Yukio. "I heard voices what--" She broke off, staring at the lion cub. "Did you have a child or something?" She asked Andromeda in shock.

Yukio tilted his head to Lucia "umm....I don't remember Andromeda being my mom" he said kindly. He then flicked an ear, and sniffed Lucia. "Wow you're a big doggie! Is the tiger the only cat in the group?"

(Changed my mind about Yukio's mom being dead. Going to make it to where Kat tries to save her, but ends up getting hurt in the process while being in human form. I can't allow Yukio (cute little cinnamon roll) to be super sad)

Yukio looked at his paws, and stopped bouncing around as he thought of his mother.


Kat padded through the forest when he heard a few humans a decent distance from the caves. "That lioness? No it wasn't a mother...we haven't seen a cub for a while" a human said lowly. Kat then turned into a human, and looked from behind a tree.
