Andromeda fell in line behind Kat, attempting to step into the paw prints he already made in the snow. She wished to hide their true numbers, if at all possible. Not that it matters, with the mess we already made in the snow..., she thought to herself.

Lucia wasnt exactly thinking strategically. Though it would be smarter to walk in the paw prints from the others, it was more fun to play in the snow.. She shook herself and paused for a moment, turning her head to lick the old scratch on her side. It was almost healed at this point. She leapt back up to follow after them.

Kanti wasn't sure where she was. She thinks that she was burrowing next to them, digging a trail next to them, but she legitimately was not sure. Eventually, she popped her head up out of the snow and saw them, jumping out behind Lucia.

Lucia let out a startled bark and whipped around, toppling over into the snow. She stood and shook herself with a grin.

Kat continued onwards silently. He parted his jaws in an attempt to tell which way to go next as the path forked. He glanced over to the others.

Kanti snickered and nudged her. She trotted up besides Kat. "Hm. Which way has more trees, do you think? That'd probably be the way to go."

Lucia pouted but remained at the back of the group, occasionally leaping up to roll in the snow. It felt nice.

Andromeda tilted her head slightly, observing the path they had chosen, and resumed her snowy walk. There were indeed more trees here, the tall pines appearing to close in around them. “Always preferred this to wide open spaces,” She mused.

Andromeda looked confused a moment, then explained,” I’m sorry, I meant that I like this feeling. Wide open spaces make me nervous. Anyone could be watching and see you.In the trees, I feel safe. Like, a distant memory I can’t recall,” she said wistfully.

Kanti's ears perked up and she grinned. She crouched to the ground and stalked forward, tail only brushing the snow, until she sprang forward into the snowbank and got somewhat stuck. She came back out with a branch of berries in her mouth. "AHA! Some raccoon tried to take these. NOT TODAY!" She plucked a few off and ate them.

Kat nodded in agreement, but kept quiet. He glanced over to laughed at Kanti's reaction to a raccoon taking the berries. "Are those safe to eat?" he asked cautiously, and remembered the one time he accidentally ate one yew berry. He shuttered, and growled as he shook the memory away.

Lucia snickered but stayed quiet, biting back the comment she was going to make about getting stuck in bushes. "I doubt a raccoon would eat something poisonous."
