"Would it help for us to find other sources about Utopia? There has
to be more than one account of this place...", Andromeda said,
staring at the book shelves.
Andromeda pulled out a book titled 'Fables and Tails', a book of
hunter children's stories she recognized from childhood. Her
parents had read this to her, she was sure of it. She flipped
through the book, pausing to look at the illustrations.
Kanti glanced around until her eyes locked on a book. It was plain
grey, with simple text reading: "Case Reports of Found Hunters".
She grabbed it and fingered through.
Kat continued to search through the shelves of the library. He saw
a book with no title on the shelf. Taking it off the shelf, he sat
down, and flipped through it.
Lucia yawned and sat down at a table, dropping her head into her
arms with another yawn. "Just like.. wake me up if you find
anything, okay?" She murmured.
Andromeda stared at the book in her hands, but the words were not
coming easy to her, despite her efforts. After a few moments
arguing with herself in her head, she approached Kanti slowly. "
Um, Kanti...could you look at this book? I have a feeling there's a
story in here that mentions Utopia but...I'm not very good at
reading," Andromeda said quietly, embarrassed. "It's a book of
stories, I think my parents read it to me, a long time ago...", she
explained.
Andromeda looked at Kanti with an expression of gratitude and
listened to the stories. She wondered if any part of these
children's tales held a grain of truth to them.
She read a few of the tales aloud, such as an eagle that flew too
close to the sun and was caught. Honestly, she was rather
interested in herself; she hadn't read these stories in years.
Andromeda had sat down while listening to the stories, forgetting
for a while her troubles. " Thank you, Kanti. I guess there wasn't
anything of use in there, though. I thought I was on the right
track," she said, disappointed.
