A few of the grunts were knocked back by the dark pulse. Tiger
stumbled out of the way of the move, and looked around for the
source, but the fog was thick. "Pikachu use a thunder bolt" Tiger
heard Snow's voice. Cold and aggressive, coming from the fog. He
was then struck in the arm by the move as the fog made it hard for
Pokemon to see their targets.
"Cyndaquil stay close" Tiger said lowly. His Cyndaquil, back flames
still lit, went over to Tiger. He had a protective look on his face
as he stood next to his trainer.
"Togetic, grass knot around the source of the thunderbolt." Faye
commanded, the Togetic doing as told. Faye's icy blue eyes stared
around though the fog, able to see the faint shadows of the others
from her training.
Mira saw Tiger run past and ran out to the courtyard. She froze
upon seeing Snow. "What in the name of Arceus are you doing in
Alola?!" She hissed, Dratini jumping off of her shoulder.
Pikachu was hit by the grass knot. He growled, and struggled to get
back up when Cyndaquil ran over, and pinned him down. "Mira? Heh
didn't expect to see you here" Snow said darkly as he heard Mira.
"I was just following my brother into this region. After all it
isn't fun without your family right, Tiger" he said lowly.
"Shut up" Tiger growled angrily. "You are no brother of mine.." He
said darkly. He felt even more uneasy as Snow mentioned that he was
related to Tiger. Half brother or not...I'll never like him
he growled. He was still straining to see through the fog.
"Togetic. Finish it with ancient power." Faye commanded as rocks
were hurled around the Pikachu. "Try to watch the Cyndaquil. If you
hit it, no matter." She said, her voice dark as always.
Tiger froze as he heard a trainer call for a finishing move. He
didn't want Cyndaquil hurt. "Cyndaquil get off Pikachu! Use dig" he
said quickly. Cyndaquil nodded, and jumped off Pikachu, he dug
underground very quickly, and tried to avoid the move as fast as he
could. He was still hit by a few rocks, and he lost a great amount
of health, Cyndaquil fainted as he jumped out of the hole next to
Tiger. Pikachu squeaked in shock, and fainted as it hit.
"Good job. Murkrow, clear the fog." Faye commanded, as Murkrow
flapped her wings and the fog was cleared, revealing Faye, who was
flying above, her arm in Murkrow's talon. "You better run, grunt.
My Pokémon can do much more than make a Pokémon faint." She said in
a voice of steel.
Tiger didn't look back at Mira. "Go ahead, and judge me on what
this idiot does...he's been nothing but a smudge on my past" he
said darkly to Mira. He grabbed Cyndaquil, and held the Pokemon.
Narrowing his eyes at Snow, he growled. "You always have to bring
trouble. Why can't you just go and find a new hobby" he snapped
angrily.
"Because stealing Pokemon, and reawakening beasts is a great
hobby..." he said bitterly, and returned Pikachu. He looked around
as a few grunts fled. "Let's go! We aren't done yet Tiger. You will
listen to me" he said angrily to Tiger.
Lauren, Marshall, and Mystique nearly
tripped as Hercules skidded to a halt. Hercules kept going. He and
Praesylis kept going and barked loudly at the Team Skull members.
Serpentine laughed before going to join her Pokemon friends. The
Snivy let out low hisses, daring anyone to challenge the
female.
"That's enough you three," Lauren said, walking over to the
Pokemon. She took out her Poffin Case and tossed three into the
air. They were all Sweet Poffins, much to the enjoyment of
Hercules. The Eevee jumped up and got his as Serpentine caught hers
with vines. Praesylis hopped onto his hind legs and caught his.
"Now, now, that's enough family trouble for one day. Faye said,
dropping as Murkrow curled a wing around Snow's throat. "Leave.
Now." Faye smirked as she shifted her gaze to Tiger, then Mira.
Snow growled, and left before Murkrow could do anything else. He
glared at Tiger, his blue gaze like ice. "This isn't over" he said
lowly.
Tiger growled "when is it ever..." He said angrily, and watched as
Snow left. He then turned around, and walked back into school
before anyone could say anything. Snow told them...now I need to
watch myself. They might start thinking I'm one of them...just like
Lion did, and just like Johto did he thought sadly, and sat
against the wall of the hall way. He used a revive on cyndaquil.
Mel dashed outside, Cottonee in front of her. She skidded to a halt
at the scene in front of her. "Jeez, what's going-" She froze.
"What the-" Cottonee whined, and Mel reached down to pick her up.
"What the heck is happening out here?" She dashed over to Tiger and
Mira.
Mira's gaze hardened. She smirked back at Faye. "Dratini."
Her pokemon slithered back to her. Mira picked her up and put her
back onto her shoulder. Mira turned to Mel. "A villainous team..."
She explained flatly. "And Tiger..." She sighed. He clearly
doesn't like being related to that bozo. I shouldn't judge him.
Tiger looked at Cyndaquil. The Pokemon grunted, and came to by the
use of the revive. "Are you alright" he asked his Pokemon gently.
He was sitting out of earshot of the others. Cyndaquil nodded, and
tried to get up, but he collapsed again. "Rest now...whoever helped
was nice to help, but they could have waited for you to dodge...oh
well" he sighed, and shook his head. "It doesn't matter now...lets
just go to class" Tiger mumbled, and went to class in silence.
Mira sighed. "Nothing at all," She mumbled, looking towards the
school. "We could be late to class now. We should go," She
suggested, forcing a smile onto her face.
Faye rolled her eyes, walking to class alone. Coincidently she was
in the same class as the others, and she sat way in the back on
purpose. Faye fiddled with a book.
Mel blinked, surprise flitting across her face. She knew what she'd
overheard, but Shen was still surprised. She looked down at
Cottonee, and Cottonee looked back up at her. She shrugged down at
her Pokémon, turning and heading back into the school. She hoped
everyone was okay. She wished she'd gotten there sooner.
