Tiger decided to let Dusk out of his pokeball. He nodded to the pokemon, and walked toward the cry for help. "It sounds like a pokemon, but I can't make out which pokemon" Tiger whispered to Dusk. Dusk nodded, and looked up, he pointed to two small dots on the top of Mount moon.

"Charmeleon meon? (Over there maybe?)" He said lowly, and looked at the figures. They were hard to make out, but one of them was blue, and very close to the edge, and near the fall into the river.

"Lets go then" Tiger said quickly, and ran toward Mount moon. He climbed up the ledges, and attempted to make it up the cliff face to Mount moon's top.

The two pokemon stared at each other for a moment, waiting, anticipating the other's move. Staryu finally jumped, using a water gun, but Ivysaur dodged and jumped forward to tackle him out of the air. It was almost too precise of a hit--they both landed on the other side of the pool. Staryu had fainted.

"And the winner is: Mira!" The announcer called. Mira grinned and walked around to the other side of the pool.

"Nice fighting! Here's the Cascade Badge to prove you have defeated me," Misty congratulated, handing Mira the water droplet shaped badge. "Good luck with the rest of your journey."

Mira smiled and thanked her, grabbing Ivysaur and heading outside.

Tiger made it to the top of Mount moon. Panting, and looking around, he looked down to the river. From this distance it looked like a blue Ekans cutting through the land. "What do you want?" a voice growled lowly. Tiger looked up and saw a Team Rocket grunt.

"Huh for once I'm glad....I didn't run into Snow. Now what are you doing?" Tiger said blandly, and looked at the shaking, and crouching pokemon near the edge of the cliff. It was a Dratini. "Why are you hurting that Dratini...it's already injured" Tiger said tartly.

"Wait Snow...!?" the grunt growled, and looked at Tiger. "You're his idiot brother aren't you!" he snapped.

Dusk took a step forward angrily, but Tiger placed an arm to stop him. "If you attack now...Dratini might fall over. We need to draw the grunt back" he whispered in pokemon. Dusk growled, but nodded reluctantly. "Yes I'm his brother, but I'm no idiot. Now let Dratini go..." Tiger said evenly.

Mira joyously whistled as she walked. "That went well!" She said to Pikachu and Ivysaur, who nodded in agreement. "Let's get you two to the Pokemon Center. Then, I'll have to find Tiger," She mused, heading into the Center.

"Welcome to the Pokemon Center!" Nurse Joy greeted. Mira nodded a greeting as Ivysaur and Pikachu jumped to the counter with their pokeballs. "These two are a little wet... Did you just get back from Misty?"

"I did! We beat her, thanks to these two," She explained. "When do you think they'll be healed?"

"Tomorrow morning, at the latest," Nurse Joy took the two and headed into the back room. Mira let out Growlithe.

"Just you and me! Let's go find Tiger," She greeted. Growlithe jumped onto her shoulder, wagging her tail excitedly, as Mira left the Pokemon Center.

The grunt growled "no. I have to transfer him to the game center. If you want him, you can buy him for....oh I don't know..." he trailed off mockingly. Tiger narrowed his eyes, and growled. "4600 game corner coins, but hey since you're related to Snow how about 2800" he said with a sneer. "Oh wait that's right you can't you have no game case" he snarled.

Tiger rolled his eyes "a game case? Coins? Pokémon shouldn't be sold....you should become friends with them" he snapped.

The grunt growled, and took a step to Dratini. "Well your choice...Maybe you'll listen to me, if I do this" he said bluntly, and went to push Dratini over the edge. Tiger then growled and nodded to Dusk. Dusk then pulled the grunt away. "Oh so you'd rather fight? He alright" he said darkly, and sent out a Nidorino.

Mira searched around Cerulean for a bit. "Hm. Weird. He's not anywhere around..." She mumbled, looking to Growlithe. "Did you see him?"

She shook her head, making Mira sigh. "He should be around. He wouldn't leave unless..." She groaned. "Rocket. Oh, for the love of Arceus if I run into Snow..." She growled, stomping off to the edge of Cerulean.

Tiger growled lowly it's dangerous to fight up here...I need to lure him away, but if I run back down the cliff...I'll risk falling, and getting hurt, but if I manage to flee...then he might go back to hurting Dratini he thought to himself sharply. He glanced at Dusk. "Dusk use a dragon claw. Don't knock anyone back, be on defense" he said quickly. Dusk nodded, and used a dragon claw on Nidorino.

"Oh don't fall?" the grunt laughed, and went to Nidorino. He whispered something, and the pokemon grabbed Dusk in his jaws. He used a poison sting, and sent Dusk skidding across the ground, and close to the edge of the cliff. Tiger froze in shock.

A trainer near the edge of Cerulean saw two trainers on the cliff edge. "Wonder what's going on there" she said lowly, and blinked. "There isn't enough room to battle up there"

Mira heard the trainer and looked up to the clifftop. "Tiger," She gasped, sprinting up to Mt. Moon. She skidded to a halt, seeing the situation, and looked in shock. "Don't. Move. A muscle," She told Growlithe, who looked ready to jump down from her shoulder and help.

Tiger glanced at Dusk. "Get away from them" he said still trying to sound calm. The grunt growled, and narrowed his eyes. He then heard Mira, and smirked.

"hmmm..." he said lowly. "Though I can finish you off, and take them from you now" the grunt said darkly, and caused Tiger's stomach to flip in fear. "Nidorino...kill" he said coldly. The pokemon glared at Tiger coldly, and used a poison sting.

Tiger tried to jump back and dodge, but he almost fell over the cliff side. He glanced at Dusk, who was now managing to get up. Tiger then growled. "Dusk flamethrower!" he ordered. Dusk was about to use the move when, the Nidorino used poison sting once more, knocking Tiger over the edge with the Dratini. Dusk blinked in shock, and growled. He then jumped over the Cliffside, and evolved to try and save his trainer.

Growlithe jumped off of Mira's shoulder, tackling the Rocket Grunt, while Mira raced to the edge. She grasped ahold of a rock and looked down, horrified. "Tiger!" She called. Growlithe was quite literally on fire, and was ready to attack Nidorino if he tried to help his trainer.

The grunt looked at Mira coldly, and growled. "Why are you concerned about him?" he sneered lowly. "He was weak, and now the two pokemon can join him" he said coldly, and walked off before Mira, or Growlithe could respond.

Tiger growled, and struggled to grasp onto something, He managed to grab onto a jagged rock just half way down the cliff. He growled as the rock cut his hand. He glanced up, and saw Dusk, now a Charizard, fly down to him. "charizard zard (I got you)" he panted, and grabbed Tiger's arm.

"We need to find Dratini" Tiger said quickly, and blinked. He remembered Mira had appeared before he fell over. "But first...we need to get back up there. If we find Mira then we can reassure her that we're fine... Maybe then Mira can help us find Dratini" he said quietly.

Mira glanced up and growled at the trainer. Growlithe extinguished herself and walked over to Mira, whining. "It's okay," She mumbled, petting the pokemon. "I-I'm sure they're alright. But... Call me crazy, or did you see another pokemon up here?"

Growlithe nodded and went to the edge, sniffing around. She barked out a call, waiting for a response from a pokemon.

Tiger blinked, and heard Growlithe. He nodded to Dusk, and the pokemon flew back up to the top of the cliff. Tiger then coughed slightly as the Charizard landed on the cliff top. "I....errr I'm so S..sorry about that" Tiger said and looked away slightly concerned that he made Mira worry to much. Dusk grunted in agreement, and landed near Mira, and Growlithe. He was thinking of Dratini, who crashed into the river below the cliff. He could still be alive... Tiger thought to himself in worry, and shook his head to clear it.

Mira sighed in relief. "Mother of Arceus, you scared me!" She shook her head, but came out with a smile. "But, I'm so glad you're okay. What happened?"

Growlithe ran up and hugged Dusk's leg--he was far too big now for a normal hug. "Growlithe!" (You're okay!) She swapped to Tiger. "Growl growlithe!" (You both are!)

Dusk nodded, and looked at Growlithe kindly. He glanced at Tiger slightly concerned wonder if Tiger was poisoned...that poison sting hit him head on Dusk thought to himself in concern, but didn't bring it up.

Tiger looked up smiled, and hugged Growlithe kindly. He then looked over to Mira. "That Grunt was harming an innocent Dratini...he fell over the cliff about the same time I did, and Dusk couldn't catch him in time...he could be in the river right now" he said in a troubled tone.

"That's horrible," Mira muttered, glancing down the cliff. "Let's go look for it," She suggested, turning and running down Mt. Moon the way she came.

Tiger nodded, and followed with Dusk flying over head in case they needed him. "Please Arceus let Dratini be alright" Tiger mumbled lowly as he ran. He went back down the mountain the way he came, and stopped near the river. He coughed, and searched the rushing current in front of him. "He could be anywhere" Tiger said in concern, and glanced up and down the river's flow. Dusk landed next to him, and glanced at Tiger in concern.

Mira scanned the river, looking for any signs of a Dratini in the water. She tapped her foot, not seeing anything, but soon leaned down to put her hand in the water, feeling around for the small pokemon. "Oh, come on..." She mumbled.

Tiger continued to look around. He was about to search in the water when he heard a small whimpering cry from further down the river. "I think I hear something" he said softly, and looked in the direction of the noise. He then saw a blur of a blue Pokemon pinned under a small pile of rocks.
