"Huh...? Oh hey I think it's Mira? Sorry I never really got your
name. I only heard it from Tiger" he began slightly embarrassed.
"Err...well you see I came by to see how Tiger was. I was concerned
after the battle in Lavender" he said simply. "Though on my way
back to lavender I was ambushed by Snow, and his morons, and
lost..." he sighed. "I managed to escape, but my Pokemon were badly
beaten up" he concluded.
"I'm fine...for some odd reason their brainwashed Ho-Oh attacked
them...not sure why, but hey I'll take it" he said a bit more
warmly. "I was ambushed just outside Vermillion. Close to the
daycare man's house...if you two go that way be careful...it's a
bit overrun with grunts right now, and they have their Ho-Oh with
them..." he sighed.
"I'm sure they'll be fine. Blastoise is my starter, and a high
level pokemon, and my Glaceon, and Houndoom are just as strong" he
said kindly, and sighed. "I'm just more confused that Ho-Oh didn't
finish me off...not sure why. Maybe because I'm not Tiger? Then
again though...Ho-Oh attacked Professor Elm, and Tiger's mom back
in New Bark when he attacked the town.." he said half to himself.
"Tiger usually keeps it to himself, but when he was younger, he
disappeared for a year. I'm not sure where he went, he just kept
saying stuff like he was in Viridian Forest, but I don't know if I
should believe it" he said uncertainly, and shook his head. "Anyway
after Tiger returned home from being missing for a year, he brought
a Cyndaquil, and Elm tried to help Tiger restore the ability to
evolve. After that Snow came into town with Frost, Tiger's dad, and
tried to burn the whole town down" he sighed. "Tiger and I tried to
fight, but we were unexperienced. Me less so than Tiger...So Lily,
Tiger's mom, and Elm tried to fight Ho-Oh, but they both failed,
and for some reason Lugia stopped the whole thing" he sighed.
Mira decided not to tell him about the Silver Wing, or Viridian
Forest--it wasn't her place. "Wow. Mother of Arceus..." She sighed,
shaking her head. "...We need to fix Ho-Oh. Badly. I... Have
no clue how. But it has to happen."
Lion nodded, and sighed "problem is Tiger and Ho-Oh aren't exactly
the best of friends..." he grumbled. "I mean Tiger has a slight
fear of the legend, and he only manages to avoid it if his friends
or family are in trouble" he sighed. Joy handed his pokemon back to
Lion "oh my pokemon are healed...uh listen I'm sorry for being a
jerk and all earlier. Thing is I was slightly annoyed by how Tiger
disappeared randomly as a kid...he always worried his mom, and Elm
when he did so" he sighed, and took his pokemon. "I'm just happy he
managed to gain some sense even if it's a little...anyway see you
later, Mira" he said kindly, and left the pokemon center.
Tiger was beginning to loose track of time as he sat in the tree.
He closed his eyes, and began to whistle a familiar tune from a
video game he played in the past. "Cynda! (Hey!)" Cyndaquil said
gently, and nudged his trainer back to the real world.
"Huh? What's up?" he asked Cyndaquil. The pokemon nodded to his
pokegear, which read a little past noon. "Oh man...ugh I must have
lost track of time" he sighed, and shook his head. "I should head
back before Mira comes looking for me...I don't want her to think I
was kidnapped again" he half joked, half sighed. He took one last
look at the view, and climbed to the ground.
Tiger walked along the path to nugget bridge when he saw a small
oran berry bush. He picked a few berries before heading back to the
pokemon center. Cyndaquil shook his head as he knew Tiger was
wasting time gathering the berries, but he didn't say anything.
Finally Tiger walked into town, and was almost to the pokemon
center.
Mira finally got up after a few more minutes and went to the door
of the Pokemon Center. She opened it and looked out--seeing Tiger,
she sighed in relief. "Okay, you're still not kidnapped," She
chuckled.
"Sorry" Tiger said feeling slightly guilty "I was looking at the
river from the trees. It was a pretty nice view and I lost track of
time" he said with a slight laugh. "Anything interesting happen
while I was gone?" he asked.
Mira nodded. "Lion came by. He and his pokemon were apparently
attacked by Rocket and Ho-Oh over by Viridian," She reported with a
sigh. "They're all fine, but... Y'know."
Tiger nodded, and looked slightly concerned. "Wonder why they were
fighting him?" he said partially to himself, but shook the thought
off "I'm sure we have nothing to worry about..." he said simply,
and sighed.
