Holiday drabble/Short Story contest, winner!
I'm pleased to announce the winner of our first group activity/contest! Congrats to RollingThunder with their entry; which can be read here/

"RollingThunder’s entry defiantly shows off Victor’s childish, air headed nature, I too had imagined the him doing a similar thing, a child at heart man in a town that wasn’t his own, exploring the Christmas shops and dragging Yuri around for a gift. It makes good use of references to the series and brings to us one of the things we love most about the series: Ice Skating! But it didn’t just give us ice skating, it gave us paired skating, some I hope the series explores later on, either as something for fun like in Nex’s story or something more serious. I do like the fact they made good use of the season chosen, taking advantage of attractions that could be used, adding a ice skating rink was a great idea and as I said, a good use of the season, I think it to be sweet and romantic to skate someone in winter. Overall I get a sense of the characters Christmas Shopping, I really feel the spirit of it and I get a lovely sense of a sweet bond between the skater and coach."
"It's a really good and cute story. I really loved the dancing part. I know it's hard to describe something like this and Nex did this really well. <3 They both are really "in character", thats really difficult too sometimes. Nex did a great job with this fanfic, I really like it. <3"
We're really happy with the outcome of the contest considering the size of our small group and that people are busy this time of year so we really appreciated that members considered joining and we're very happy some one entered <3
We're looking forward to our next group activity which either be something to celebrate (/mourn) the last episode of Yuri!!! on Ice or Victor's birthday since both will be quiet close together. Chances are we'll be doing what we did for Yurri's birthday but we'll see!
One last note:
Thanks again for all of your support with the club, this contest (and the plans for the future ones!) was because we wanted to celebrate our growing group and we wouldn't have had it without you and whilst I'm aware we have less than a week before the season ends, I hope you continue to use this group when ever you feel the need to talk about the series <3

On another note, I'm less freaked out over the last episodes ending. That would be thanks to the calmer fans on Tumblr aha.. They pointed out a few things and it kinnda makes sense to me; either that or I'm being too hopeful pfft.
