Ellie nodded. "Fair enough... But I hope you know that I don't play by the rules, puppy dog." She said before releasing herself from Shadow's grip and leaping into the trees. "Two night hunters, this should be interesting."

Luca returned a glance to Savannah, but then looked away.

Remy picked Luca up by his hoodie and gently sets him on his back to rest on one of the spikes.

Laura sat above the treetops and watched her sister worriedly. "Don't be stupid, Shadow." She whispered to herself.

Ellie prowled the branches, making a clicking sound and flickering her tongue.

Remy looked up. "Stupid stupid girl, she is completely and utterly too full of herself." He said, watching Ellie carefully.

Luca nodded in agreement with Remy and sighed.

Ellie hissed, falling from her branch and landing on the next one down on her back. She dug her nails into the bark of the tree to keep from slipping and got up.

Luca breathed heavily, watching the two girls. "This is not how I planned this mission out. Nothing in the plans described a battle between a wolf girl and my ex boss." He grumbled.

Ellie roared, making the trees tremble. She looked around her, fists clenched and pupils dilated. She hopped through the trees with agility, searching for Shadow.

Luca shivered when he heard the roar and tucked his head into his knees.

Remy growled. "This is childish." He muttered.

Luca shuttered at the noises he heard in the trees, pulling his hoodie over his face.

Luca watched Savannah leave, wanting to chase after her, but too weak with his injured leg.
