Welcome to the world of breeding animals. The outcomes are not as you think. In breeding birds, we had some pairs that we had to have 7+ clutches to get some of the rarer genetics that were highly sought after. And we had a couple hundred birds at once for breeding. (I think we had 176 or more birds at one time during inspection, excluding the babies that were being fed and including those who were fully grown and ready to be found homes.)

So we had anywhere from 5 to 20 babies to take care of at any given time. While all of them were decent outcomes that were sold to good homes (or to other breeders) the rare ones, or the "shinies" for the sake of this discussion were actually rarer than some of the hunts on here. (Not as rare as other hunts, though)

But it was all based on chance with some of the outcomes. And some of the genetics were male specific or female specific, making it that much harder to get. (Think Tauros vs Miltank. The cow is female only and the bull male only. Fair enough. However, in the games, you can only breed down the female's genetics for the species, and not the male's even though they are practically the same species. Not exactly the same, but close enough.)


And I think this made the breeding that we did sound horrible despite it being one of the most humane aviaries around XD

Well, I finally got the Deino egg after my Garchomp and Hydreihon bred 4 eggs, so after I get some PD I'll be able to start this hunt.
I'm gonna need a trade box...

I'm looking for a Ditto to borrow so I can hunt Petilil. I would hunt one for the person who gave it to me too. So if anyone has one or knows someone who has one, please ask them °^°

I already did a hunt with a Ditto from another user but he seems to be inactive.(see shiny Lunatone) But there you can see, that I will trade it back after the hunt is done.


I don't want to keep Ditto, I just need it for ONE hunt!

This was the Ditto from my Lunatone hunt.

Shinies are ok except on some games I don't catch shines because you can't sell them. I want a shiny so I can sell it for ,well pd. Shiny fletchling = 200,000 - 300,000pd. I wanted a shiny fletchling for that much though I don't think anyone would want it.

I finally sorted out my scour team, but that also means less electric gems when I had a pretty good chance of them... D:

Kitkat: Wow, thanks for that. I've met a coupes of breeders, but I've never gotten that much info before. I'm glad to have met someone who explains in pretty good detail how the breeding works and stuff.

Anyways, I've decided that once I finish Feebas with a female shiny, I'll adopt a bunch of eggs from the lab in hopes of getting something rare. If I don't get a Ditto, I'll hunt either Spring Deerling or Larvesta next.

My breeders are trolling me right now >.< They are producing more Mr. Bagon eggs than anything else, so I'm going to move on to my next hunt and re-visit Van Bagon at a later date XD

Probably after the other two planned hunts.
