lol. In real lifee there also are no real Pokemon - or hunters for rare colours of .. f.e. Pigs, Fishes or other animals ...
and you only have to use new gems for a new chain if you aren't premium.

I'm very curious if I ever did something bad to Riako. Because all of my chains I've had so far are crap. v.v
still no shiny for me :/

Pucky: The main reason for that is because it's illegal to hunt rare animals, in most places.

I just had a weird thought.

Technically, aren't albino creatures the equivalent of a shiny pokemon? Since they're so rare... O.o

Erm, the Batteries for the radar AREN'T more expensive than those that you buy in the store for other things. If anything it's cheaper than a small pack of batteries around where I live.

$0.51/ count up to $0.75/ count.

That's more expensive than paying for the batteries in the store on here with the Nuggets. (Which are $0.50/ count)

So it's not insanely expensive. Plus, the 50K PD isn't hard to get if you play the game. I get that much in a day or two, much quicker than I can finish a single hunt. (Maybe double that time if I don't play the game as much, but hunts go twice as long in that case.)

Oh, I didn't see the posts before Pucky's, derp.

But yeah, Dialkia, if you want, you can PM me and I can sell you Electric Gems for a pretty small price. I know most people sell them at 1k each because of the Pokeradar, but I might be willing to sell them for much less.

PD doesn't have a RL value, that I can tell. Seeing as there is no real comparison that I've seen as of yet. But I could be wrong here.

However, the Nuggets are done in USD where one small nugget is 1 cent and one large nugget is 1 USD.

According to XE.com:
1.00 USD = 61.8969 INR

Seeing these numbers, I can see why you say it's expensive. However, if you look at other currencies, such as GBP, the batteries are worth about 0.30 GBP instead of 0.50 USD.
It all depends on how strong or weak the currency is at the moment when compared to others.

And if you rumble in the right place, electric gems are almost too plentiful. (I actually trade those away a lot, as I don't need them for much)

Kitkat: I'd say with the rate of stuff on Pokeheroes, the 'strength' of Pokedollars is, well, not very much lol. So I can kind of see where Dialkia is going with this. Anyways, calm down Dialkia. We can sort this of without resorting to Caps abuse lol.

INR is the Indian Rupee, according to XE. But I'm not overly familiar with most foreign currencies, so how about this, you can do the conversion yourself and post it. I was just trying to be helpful. :/

But I guess I should just go ahead and head off to bed because being useful at 3:30 in the morning after little sleep is most likely futile.

And, as someone else already said, they'd be willing to work out a deal for the electric gems. And as I've already said, if you're rumbling in the right area, they are very plentiful. That costs you absolutely nothing other than patience.

uhm. I didn't mean rare animals with this example. neighter this part with albinos.
And even if the albino are rare coloured animals...there are no 'hunters' who breed this sort of animal over and over just to get a albino of this race. that's what I've ment with this example.

@ dialka
you still just could trade your gems for electric gems ...or send your rumble team to the places where they can find the right sort of gems. without even paying a single cent. (or what sort of money you have)

What do you mean then, Pucky? It seems to me like you were talking about rarely colored animals, which are considered rare animals. Unless you're talking about breeds and rare genes, in which case, I know lots of people who attempt at rare ones. And those people are called breeders lol

yes. I was talking about the hunt for rare coloured animals.
Sure there are breeders who are trying to breed with rare colours through genes and all this sort of things - that are possible.
but then i think the whole litter of the outcomes have the same rare colour. (or at least half of them) and this with every litter.
this is not exactly the same with hunting shinies...where you really have to have good luck...
and those breeders don't breed hundreds of pets from the same sort just to get one other coloured outcome - hopely.

(hard to explain what I mean because my lack of english knowledge. v.v )

That's because dogs aren't exactly pixels, Pucky. I mean, what else would we do, here? You can't exactly battle with Pokemon (yet) and even with battling, getting a shiny is much more luck-driven than getting a dog with a rare gene, as you mentioned.

You don't know breeders who breed dogs and cats and other things in hopes of getting one with a rare gene to make a pretty penny off of? There's lots where I live.

Dialkia: You can also sell your shinies. Then, you'd make enough PD to get a few hunts going.

@ dialka
so start collecting pokedollars and try to trade the nuggets from others...
there already are some users who collect their pd this way.
