"I should probably head back. The sun's setting," Adderstar pointed
out to himself. He passed by Sweetpaw, congratulating her on the
rabbit, and headed back to camp with his prey.
Adderstar made his way back to camp and placed his mouse on the
fresh-kill pile. He smiled when he noticed that there was enough
prey for every queen and kit to eat.
Walking back into camp, Rainfeather dropped the mouse she had
caught into the fresh kill pile. She resisted the urge to let her
hunger take over, knowing that everyone else had to eat. She sat
down near the pile, nodding to what Adderstar said to Wispkit.
Fernpaw dropped the prey she has sloppily killed into the Fresh
Kill pile. The many eras of the tempting prey filled her nose all
at once, making her realize how hungry she was. Thinking about
it will only make you worse, Fernpaw. She chided herself.
This will help for the upcoming Leaf-Bares when SkyClan doesn't
have much prey. Be strong. Fernpaw stepped away from the pile
of food, and padded into the Apprentices' Den.
Adderstar decided to retire for the night. He slipped into his den
and curled up in his moss bed. Soon enough, despite his hunger
yowling at him, his breathing slowed into a steady pace and he was
sleeping.
After snapping out of her food trance, Rainfeather calmly walked
over to the Warriors den and sat in the nest in the back, as
always. She stared at the wall before her eyelids became heavy, and
her breathing slowed into a sleeping mode.
Honeyfeather finished, taking a fat thresh from the fresh kill
pile, she dropped it at Adderstar's den, and went to her own den,
and started to close her eyes, eventually falling asleep.
If it would make you happy,
I'll give my most precious thing to you.
Even if it turns out we can't meet for
a second time,
A smile will always bloom in my heart.
Goodbye..
