Snowfall was sitting next to darkpaw. "Hi" darkpaw meowed. Snowfall did the same and went out to look for a mouse or two

Hollykit watched Wisppaw become an apprentice, and padded outside of the Nursery. A Queen called out, "Hollykit, be careful." The young kit turned back, her eyes narrowed. "It's still inside SkyClan camp, and that's rather safe. It's much worse outside of camp." She growled. The Queen's eyes met hers calmly. "How would you know that, Hollykit? You were rather well-fed when we brought you into SkyClan." The Queen mewed. How could she forget? "My mother died in front of me." The she-kit replied bitterly, and padded away.

Adderstar came down from the Highrock, congratulated Wisppaw, and walked out of camp to hunt. Leaf-fall and leafbare were coming soon, so, despite the drought, he and his Clanmates needed to catch as much prey as possible. What he found wasn't prey, however, it was a fox staring straight at him. Between them was a half-eaten robin, and Adderstar knew that the fox thought he was a threat, and that threats were not tolerated.
Hawktail moved through camp smoothly, tired and lazy from his long hunting expedition two nights ago. He had done his share of hunting, and now it was the others' turns to hunt while he rested.
Lionfur was hunting, unluckily away from Adderstar and the fox.

Darkpaw pranced up to hawktail and meowed "hi hawktail."

Hawktail looked at Darkpaw. "Oh, hey," he mewed.
Adderstar raked his claws across the fox's nose, making it yelp. It quickly retaliated, grabbing Adderstar's paw in its teeth.

Adderstar yanked his paw back and leaped on the fox, eyeing Snowfall and biting the fox's ear.

Lionfur had returned a bit earlier with a skinny mouse. He looked at Darkpaw, but first went to deliver it to the nursery.
